  1. Not really getting the hate for Richardson 2bh. I agree he's not set the heather alight but I do think he's improving and has his strengths (fucking quick and bit of a unit). He ain't Rory Mcardle bad put it that way. Agree the jury is still out on Stewart and Roos though I've seen more good than bad from Stewart. He seems to have calmed down with the Beckenbauer passes at least.
  2. As in retrospective ban for his tackle? When do they normally announce they are looking at it?
  3. Hopefully they will have suffered another sapping defeat in Amsterdam on Wednesday and be coming into this game on the verge of a crisis. Was chatting with my rangers supporting pal last night and he reckons if they lose at Pittodrie and go 8 behind the title is done already and it's hard to disagree. They are there for the fucking taking too if you ask me, I wasn't even remotely surprised the tims horsed them. I really want to see Duk start this for Clarkson, that's two games in a row he's come on and made a big impact. He looks like he has lost the near half a stone that he needed too and is all kinds of hungry. There is also the added bonus of I think Mcrorie and rama do better as a 2 in the centre. Out Working Rtv Working 2-1 dons Miovski and Duk.
  4. Given how you must be getting a very AP focused tim wank fest shoved down your throat that's understandable. I get he's the manager of a team that regularly humps us but I'm talking about the guy himself. I usually find his assessments of games pretty fair. Don't think I've ever heard him whine about referees either and there just doesn't seem to be any bullshit about him. For a manager of one of the ugly sisters you have to admit that's a bit rare. You would have a pint with him, put it that way.
  5. I don't disagree he's prolific and more than good enough to do a job but if he's to be off then I would rather see Duk get the game time. That said how long till he's got a starting berth?
  6. No idea but I don't disagree
  7. In fairness he's been in charge since February and has seen far more of him than we have. Fwiw I don't think Ramirez is worth the 6-7k a week he's allegedly on.
  8. I wonder if Goodwin just doesn't think he's worth the money he's on
  9. I'm raging Duncan wasn't brought on at all. He would have been far more effective than Morris.
  10. That's a fucking sore one to take.
  11. Postecoglou is very likeable I have to say
  12. Aye I would start Duncan over Morris at the moment. Has Mackenzie ever actually played as a cb?
  13. Rome wasn't built in a day 2bf. Overall I think has been a good window which is impressive given the turnaround required.
  14. Nothing wrong with being a bit pragmatic. By that I mean the club should experiment with dropping the prices a wee bit when the team is playing well for cat b and c games. People like seeing their team win after all
  15. First thing I thought of when I saw the draw. Have to say I was chuffed for Mcinnes tonight. Great result for Killie to win at Tynecastle
  16. You literally said, in your first post, So, no, there's nothing pedantic about pointing out your example, where the final result isn't a tie, doesn't make any sense.
  17. Closes tomorrow eve mate
  18. I disagree, I would say it's a goal scoring opportunity as the ball has not yet gone into the net. Also, you can't say you stop that deliberate foul. In this instance Suarez doesn't know for sure he's going to get caught and it's the last minute of extra time so what has he to lose?
  19. What on earth are you talking about? That makes even less sense than one goal being worth more than another.
  20. Ryan Duncan may have played his way into the starting 11, he's been excellent since he came on.
  21. The one thing I will say in the teams defence tonight is this pitch is well narrow. 61 metres. For context Tynecastle pre new main stand was 64 (its 68 now), Pittodrie is 66, hampden (renowned for being very wide) is 70. This was always going to be a stodgy game for us, Goodwin likes his wingers.
  22. They are well over rated
  23. I disagree. We are 9 in with an entirely new back 5. They ain't gonna really know each other on the pitch for a few months yet imo.
  24. You are literally admitting yourself that away goals are worth more than home goals. How could you award the tie to a team if they were not? Saying worth double is just easy language to use and to all intents and purposes it's true.
  25. I don't agree with dropping Roos purely on the grounds the defence is still getting to know each other. None of the back 5 should be getting swapped unless absolutely necessary for the time being imo. Have to say, fwiw my feeling at the moment is that Lewis is a better shot stopper, 1 on 1er etc.
