  1. Well that was fucking awful
  2. some hun cunt on hun media basically admitting it's not the same club.
  3. Wright is their best option by a mile. Affordable, willing, knows the League and Club and would probably win a lot of matches. Only thing that might put him off is the Nothern Ireland job. The huns being done to a manager when they REALLY need one by the Red hand of Ulster has a glorious irony dontcha think? It would be hilarious.
  4. There's quite a few, most of them involving Jess. That goal at Mordor, keepie ups in the semi against them in 95 (attended), the free kick against utd at Tannadice in the utterly bonkers 5-3 win (attended and was in perfect line with said free kick), his goal against Torino,...... In fact my overall answer is Eoin Jess.
  5. The tribute act are just as much of a basket case of a club as Sunderland. I am far more concerned about WBA. No guarantee they would offer it to him but he would defo take it if he was and who could blame him.
  6. Steve Clark just in at killie is shorter odds than DM. Not very worried
  7. At least someone has some optimism Al. They aint all that at the moment, particularly at the back. Christie is a loss but it's all about our very settled looking defence tomorrow eve. A clean sheet will bring 3 points as I'm very confident of scoring.
  8. Hun Media in meltdown if you fancy some schadenfreude. They talk about DM like he would actually be interested which is hilarious in itself.
  9. I reckon DM was keen on Moult and we would have paid the half mill except for the fact that Alex Neil said to Stevie May if he wanted the Aberdeen move he could have it. Moult is clearly a talented striker and we would have been fortunate to have him but I would rather have May. He's a far better all rounder, has already tried England so won't be itching for a shot down south and he really want's to play for DM. No brainer on who the better acquisition was IMO
  10. In nice coincidence the spfl facebook page just posted the highlights of this very match TC
  11. Och I think you boys are being a little harsh on Dodd's. He was a decent enough striker and had a knack for scoring important goals. I wasn't gutted when he left right enough but he had his moments. I'll always remember Dodds with a bit of fondness for the 95 league cup semi against the huns. That was the day I truly fell in love with football. The bounce for the second was as good as I have ever been in.
  12. 22 Attempts on goal against slovakia with 7 on target. He didn't get away with one, we were the better side throughout. Martin was excellent when he came on, Anya set up the goal and macarthur continued to keep hamsik quiet. On analysis his subs were effective. I understand the dislike for him but he got it done last night and if not for an inspired performance from the keeper it would have been far more comfortable.
  13. Very much this. I think Strachan is a good manager but his selections both for squads and line ups have had me pull my hair out on numerous occasions. That said I don't think he got too much wrong last night. I would have preferred Fraser last night too but Anya and Martin combined for the goal..... His changes won the game so credit where it's due and even when it was 11 v 11 we were looking the better side. red tinted specs off, how good a player has Leigh Griffiths become the past two years? The roar that went up just in the pub when we won the free kick that he ended up hitting the bar with was incredibly expectant. In all honesty I would love to see him get a shot in a big league.
  14. The Slovenia game is on Sunday.....
  15. Looking really solid today, Maclean is doing fine i might add.
  16. I think he's better than Leighton in that he's a modern keeper. JL struggled to adapt to things like the pass back rule and wasn't great with high balls. Theo remains the best I ever saw play for us but I think there's a good argument to be made that he's the best since.
  17. Young is a fanny no question but there's plenty of times be argues points he doesn't really believe to play devils advocate and stimulate debate. I bet he would be an interesting man to have a few beers with.
  18. Awful, miracle they didn't score!
  19. I'm looking for a favour from someone if at all possible. My weekend just freed up and I'd really like to go, just phoned the club and they say they are not posting tickets out anymore (I live in Inverness). They also don't do any kind of collection from the ground so I was wondering off anyone going to the game that lives in Aberdeen could pick a ticket up for me and I'll get you in Edinburgh? Defo be a pint or two in it for you. Pm if you are willing. Cheers
  20. 4 year deal for a 35yo that hasn't played in 6 months Utterly batshit
  21. Yeah he would have been immense. Most bonkers transfer I have heard in a while has happened. Grant Hanley to Norwich on a 4 year deal!
  22. And that's why Adam Rooney is defo worth keeping
  23. 2-2 , maclean pen a bit soft but there was defo a push on christie and he went down
