Who the fuck shat in your cornflakes this morning? Why the fuck are you having a pop at me for making the (accurate) observation that an earlier ko will have an affect on crowd size? Semi finals and finals have a tendency to bring out more fairweather fans (which you well know I'm sure) but earlier ko will discourage some on both sides and they will watch it on telly instead. I reckon that number will be about 5k.

look at what rooney is doing for stockleys equaliser against killie. I have yet to see a defence that isn't wary of Rooney since his debut.
-
That's going to take 5000 off the crowd straight away.

When I was in the air force I had an Wrexham fan (actual fan too, he went quite regularly) say to me, without the slightest hint of irony, "why do you care so much about a Scottish team? I watched a Scottish game once and it was rubbish, you're wasting your time".
-
I would be surprised if this isn't televised, result if it's not though as Saturday 3pm would be amazing! Sadly it's probably going to be a half 12 ko isn't it as I cant see the glasgow rozzers accepting a half 5 between Aberdeen and HIbs. In fairness a half fiver would be utter carnage, thats a lot of drinking time for 45000 hibs and aberdeen fans.

Very much this. He's a real asset on form and it's great to see him returning to something resembling that.

Abdul osman is very possibly the nasty cm we've been looking for! Great result, banana skin well and truly dodged

postponement is ok by me, we might have one or two of the injured back in contention for the replay.
-
some absolute crackers there! My choice would be Baggio's, what a player.

I'm really glad stockley has been passed fit, if we win this game i suspect he will play a significant role in it. I have to say though I do have a bad feeling about this one.

Even fucking Chick Young recognises that the tribute act don't want to have to cough up a seven figure compensation fee for a manager. According to the beeb gossip page they are after some portugese james bond who's been managing in the middle east. I suspect the results of that would be quite amusing.

With the loss of Jack Shinnie will defo be in midfield you would think, Christie or PP to play the more advanced role. AOC will have to come in alongside Taylor for Consi to play left back. Can see Rooney or Storey starting wide (though PP could play there) with the other through the middle. No question that Partick will be a tough nut to crack, they are a really solid side and I wait in baited breath to see what the starting line up is. out tv at home walk the dog 2-1 shinnie and maclean

what's the crab thing about?

Rooney still creates havoc in defenses, seriously the guy scores the only goal in a tough fought game and he had a shit game? Ooooft.

There's no room for sentimentality in football. End of story. They have been awful for months and if they stay up it will have been the right decision.

Worst Refereeing Performance ever?
tlg1903 replied to glasgow sheep's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
There's many things you can say about Willie Collum but I genuinely don't think he is corrupt. I think he's incredibly incompetent at times but I've never once got the impression of an agenda from him. All that said though it's been a while since he had a "Collum" moment in a match so it's probably overdue. -
Good find Manc, not seen that one before either. The whole thing was very scripted and was never filmed in 1980, I would suspect 85. Interesting that there was not really much mention of trophies, I couldn't help but laugh when Strachan started talking about the european cup, what a difference not even 10 years made.
-
I'm not so sure about that, I don't think we can really say for certain unless he is actually given a run of starts. I think he's defo a player fwiw. Bar the sitter at mordor his finishing has not only been excellent but quite varied too. We've had 30 yard lobs to poachers goals like yesterday and a lot of them have been important goals as well. I think he might surprise you if given the opportunity in other words. One thing I would add is that Stockley doesn't score yesterday if Rooney isn't causing Addison so much stress. It was as good as an assist almost.

Very mixed performance but one thing I would add was that Killie looked really solid and very well organised, Gary Dicker in particular was a real driving force for them. He's out of contract at the end of the season too, could be worth a look though he is 30. I think there was possibly a wee bit of a hangover from midweek both in exertion and euphoria from our point of view. As has been mentioned Jack had a great game though I think some of the criticism of Hayes and Mcginn is a little harsh. That said with two goals in 40 minutes of gameplay PeePaw must be pushing for a start, he was excellent when he came on and i would defo consider giving him Mcginn's place after 2 fairly quiet games in a row. Despite looking a little shaky at times this is a really good win to get, I'm particularly chuffed for Stockley who is looking a pretty good find at the moment.

I have heard some silly things said on btm, i remember one guy thought cammy smith would be a like for like replacement for flood. Looking forward to this one, Mculloch will have them well motivated as he's a proper dye in the wool hun so he obviously detests us. They will likely try and get physical so lets hope the team get's through this without injury. Killie player to get a red card could be a prudent bet perhaps. It's hard not to think that if we score first we will win comfortably and if it's an early goal another hiding could be on the cards. Team selection is going to be interesting, it would be very hard to drop jack, mclean or christie after Wednesday. Dare i say it but would the most prudent choice be give to Considine a wee rest and stick Shinnie to LB?

If, and that's a big fucking if, the huns were to stump up the necessary coin to get to speak to him I would be surprised if DM's head wasn't turned a little bit. That wouldn't make it a done deal by any stretch though and he doesn't seem a director of football kinda guy either. No chance he won't be staying until the summer regardless though but if he does go then I still think it's far more likely he will go to England than Mordor.

Have a few underpasses so people can cross over without going near cars, the road is not even built yet so it couldn't be that hard to incorporate into plans you would think. It seems a very resolvable issue if you ask me.

the guy is a section under the mental health act waiting to happen.
