  1. If anyone thinks tansey is a tough tackling grafter they are going to be incredibly disappointed.
  2. Aye he got a couple of last minute game screamer's, hibs and motherwell spring to mind. Heikkinen was a lovely player, exactly the kind that we need right now.
  3. I always forget about Seve which says a lot but he would walk into the midfield at the moment.
  4. A combative cm midfielder has to be the priority

    Rouge 1 is phenomenal
  6. 2 players booked before the abandoment, do those cards get rescinded?
  7. Yeah, I'm the one that thought he was in an argument. You're awfully snippy these days BB, what gives? I discount loans because very often they are nothing more than glorified trials. I did forget about zola but he was shipped back out again pretty quickly at least. The only reason i posted was to show that however bloated a market england might be there are clearly still bargains to be had.
  8. Lewis, Logan, O Connor have all been successes. Weigh that up against Taylor and brown as negatives (Im not talking about loans because theres been a few duds with that for sure) and his record in england is pretty decent. When he's got it right he's really got it right in other words. If we were to go foreign i would like to go scandinavian, good spoken english and you don't see too many lazy scandinavian players. I've been saying for coming on two years now we need a def midfielder, a new marcus heikinnen would be amazing!
  9. It's not his natural position, CB is. Only reason i can think for dropping him is he wants reynolds pace against dodoo. Don't agree with it but i suspect thats the logic.
  10. will anyone really care about a pre match interview if we pump the huns on sat? Whatever else you want to say about McInnes he's pretty canny with the media, it seems to me he's trying to put pressure on the tribute act after their hiding (and it was a hiding, hertz were all over them) midweek.

I'm a sci fi fan, I'll check it out. There's been done great straight to dvd movies over the years. A film called pirates of silicon valley which tracks rise of Apple and Microsoft is excellent.
  12. Afraid not mate. It was a REALLY tough decision to make but the fact I've seen us lift the league cup twice and there well be other cup finals swung it in end.
  13. Out, sold my ticket two days ago as I got offered a last minute trip to Amsterdam with a total hottie. Pre, match and post - bar in the dam I think it will be close, probably a 2-1 final score. Btts would be the bet to put on imo. I really hope DM leaves the back line alone.
  14. Considine's post matcher is worth a watch on red tv
  15. Bit harsh, the comment was better all round. Kjaer and Snelders were far better at things like taking crosses, passbacks and general distribution (leightons goal kicks were appalling). Leighton was a great keeper but he didn't like coming off his line very much.
  16. So was Theo and Kjaer imo
  17. Very true tom but If memory serves everton were fairly fucked financially when he was there? I hate the prick but if you were to offer me strachan or smith for the scotland job i would take smith every time.
  18. I heard he used to do that at Mordor as well. I actually saw Rougvie in the golf club before a home game a year or so ago. Not an ounce of fat on him, not a man to be fucked with still.
  19. Polworth being out is pretty big for them, he's been playing really well under Foran. Raven was one of the best rb's in the league a few seasons ago but has lost a yard of pace the past year or so and Tansey always shows up against us these days so all in thats really good news. I'll revise my prediction to 3-0 dons Stockley rooney and Mcginniesta
  20. Say what you like about Smith (and I often say walkout traitor hun cunt fyi) but he is very pragmatic and skilled at getting results. Scotland under Smith would likely have got at least the play off in the last campaign and be performing significantly better in this one.
  21. Some folk just can't get over the fact he grew up a Celtic fan. Bobby Biscuit posted a while back he heard 'fans' calling him a taig at a match. I know every support has their knuckle draggers but some of the treatment NM really angers me. He's one of the best signings the club has made in recent and not so recent memory.
  22. If it was more or less a fact that he doesn't try he never would have scored against Celtic or put the cross in for quinn to score the winner last season for that matter. He might not always play well against them but I have yet to see any evidence whatsoever to suggest he's not giving his all.
  23. Tell that to the previous posters who think he doesn't try against Celtic then.
  24. I don't subscribe to the whole Mcginn didn't show up against Celtic nonsense and I would absolutely start him. I would also go 4-4-2 as really their only weakness is at the back. Intae them, heed first etc. Lewis Logan AOC Considine Shinnie Mcginn Jack Maclean Hayes Rooney Stockley
