  1. Probably some decent coin to be made by their clubs with the new tv deals.
  2. Addition of the under 20's is an interesting move.

    Brexit Vote

Scariest thing about a brexit vote would be boris being a stick on to be PM. I can't stand Cameron and Osborne but he would be even worse. Voting remain and hoping the majority of Scotland does. Won't be overly pissed off if it is brexit despite that though as it significantly improves the case for independence which remains my no1 political goal.
  5. As I said earlier if we got one and a half mill I think we would have done as well as we can realistically hope for. I'm very confident if a 500k offer came in it would be treated with derision given how long he is under contact for. We don't need to sell but we could be forced to.
  6. I don't think you understand how transfers work. Base figure is always the value of the remainder of contract which is where the 500k figure is coming from. As i understand it there has been no official approach so how can milne tell them to fuck off? Given his age you would never get anything close to 3 mill for him, 2 would be a miracle. As I said above given his age and value of his contract 1.25 mill would be good business, 1.5 excellent business.
  7. could have been a decent signing but not going to cry myself to sleep if it doesn't happen. re hayes. 500k i would guess is the ball park of the remainder of his contract. We are in no need of selling now we are debt free so the minimum I would let him go for is £1.25 mill. £1.5 would be excellent business despite his key player status but that might be a little too much. If they come in with good money and are offering to at least treble his wage (I would guess he's on about 4-5k with us, 15 k is not hardly breaking the bank for a championship side) he's could be pretty pissed if we turn it down. I would be gutted to see him go, i wanted us to sign him the first time i saw him play, but if there is one player in our squad that deserves a lucrative move it's Hayes and I wouldn't resent him for taking it. There would be no reason for that money not to be re-invested in the squad either and we could maybe get greg stewart to replace him for half the amount. In short don't want to see him leave but for the right money I would be at peace with it. Lets face it, every club in scotland is a selling club.
  8. Not fussed about Sammon in the slightest.
  9. Can't believe Houston isn't being linked with the hibs job. That said my hibby mate looked aghast when I suggested it to him. He wants McLeish for some reason
  10. Wales must be struggling if church is going.
  11. Jim Jefferies (not the football manager)
  12. You should check out his interview manc,he kinda talks about that. She's that another season on loan would be good for him
  13. There was a big interview with shankland on the club website the other day. It didn't sound like he thought he was going anywhere which I found interesting. I like mallan though, would be a great bit of business to get him on board imo. I still think LS is with worth another chance though I would be happy to see him go back to helen on loan for another season.
  14. Gruff Rhys is the prominent talent of the super furry animals and Stan Lee is the guy behind all things marvel. Richard Gordon once said of Crampsey that he could talk knowledgeably about any subject you could care to think off
  15. Gruff Rhys Bill Hicks Bob Crampsey Stan Lee Richard Burton
  16. Yeah that was my first thought when I heard the rumour manc
  17. I'm not going to taint the site by linking to the hun webpage but y'all need to have a wee look at the statement the zombies have released about yesterday. Hilarious
  18. The tims are having a bit of a wankfest over this it would seem...... I'm far from convinced as it's at best a medium term appointment. If he does well he'll be off to the first decent flash of epl leg, if he doesn't he'll get binned for being to expensive. Ultimately he's going to just as much of a struggle getting anyone of any real talent to come to scotland as Deila did regardless of sevco being in the league. He's won fuck all and Liverpool were quite glad to see the back of him. If he makes the group stages he might get a few more options but by then it will be close to the close of the window and all the best options will already be taken. Cue panic buying. If they don't make the CL group stages it's going to be hilarious. Fact.
  19. Barcelona score that it's a worldwide wank fest. What a goal! Fairy play to the bairns, Houston has fair changed my opinion of him this season.
  20. Did you see Rodgers taking a cross ball very impressively there manc? Maybe he can be no 1
  21. I wouldn't be surprised ed, he's that kind of character. I like him, just wish he could pass a ball accurately more often. I want Jackson Irvine to replace him, have done for months.
  22. Great minds Al Whatever else you can say about flood he's clearly no fun to play against and Utd will need that next season.
  23. That would be a really good move for him if you ask me, if the arabs get their act together then the scrap between utd, hibs and possibly falkirk (though you would think falkirk will be getting cherry picked if they don't get promoted) could be a really good watch. Flood would be a good guy to have in your team if you want to challenge for the championship IMO Connor Salmon? WTF? It would be a really un-necessary signing given our recruitment so far. I've asked my hibee mate what he thinks of Hanlon and he says that he's a great player, grafter too. He's not the tallest though (5'11) but then again that's not necessarily too much of a hindrance if he can read a game well. He's 26 and has played over 200 games for Hibs so he's at a good age with plenty top flight first team experience. It could be an interesting move if it happens, if he can read the game well and organise a defence he would have ability that none of our current CB's have. Does it make anyone else sad that Anderson wasn't born 5 years later? Edit: more from my hibee pal. Yeah, decent pace. Does a full 90 all the time and great at passing and slowing the game down. Sad to see him go.
  24. I read ringworld a few years back, it was quite decent
  25. Mainly agree but if he thought church could link play he really didn't watch him very much
