  1. I miss seebass abd his loony random comments
  2. Ooooft. That has to be the most random post I've seen on DT since Seebass stopped posting.
  3. Pretty easy so far
  4. Thanks edit. That's highly entertaining, things must be grim for him to be calling a penalty and a red card against his beloved Celtic. Gillhaus kept the fire stoked nicely with his 'I've not seen scottish football in quite a while but aye, celtic are a bit pish eh?' rhetoric.
  5. Sill not seen that yet
  6. Interesting that Shinnie got the armband in the first place given Reynolds is vice captain.
  7. Not playing well at all
  8. Really hope church starting doesn't mean Rooney on the wing
  9. If we win comfortably tonight he might find the invite in the post tomorrow
  10. On topic, i think this one will run for a wee bit. One thing I did take from CTO was that it's a fair point if the agent was contractually obliged to stay silent about the release clause. That Aberdeen's source was the agent is welcome information but we can still only guess at the specifics of the clause. I do wonder if there is any kind breach of contract ruling in Tanseys favour (and if it was I think we can agree that's a pretty massive breach of contract if so) if he would then have the option to tear up his contract up and sign for us as a free agent.
  11. Much like the place itself Al. Truth be told i don't think they ever got over how long it took them to get their first win, 21 games was it?
  12. Re ict, I think it's largely down to the fact Kenny Cameron fucking hates afc.Interesting to see where this one goes, my first thought on hearing ICT were refusing was that they might be cutting their nose to spite their face a little. By that I mean one of the big selling points of ICT when trying to attract players has been providing a shop window to move onto bigger things. Rooney, Andy Shinnie and McKay to name a few from recent times have all got moves to England from ICT. Now AFC are obviously not paying what even league 1 clubs in England can but Tansey would likely have at least doubled, hell probably trebled, his wage by moving east . Can't imagine he's too chuffed about having that scuppered for him by Kenny Cameron especially when the release fee was actually met regardless of the circumstances of how it was known. I reckon agents will definitely remember this in the future.
  13. Fairly underwhelming, i think i would rather have kept DG if I'm honest
  14. Tansey could be a great signing, he really doesn't give the ball away very often and is very handy with a dead ball. I would have preferred the more b2b irvine from county but I suspect then making the final knocked that on the head. I know very little about Alston though did he not score the winner against the orribles over the festive period?
  15. Good match for Kilmarnock then
  16. Deadlines not till tomorrow eve? Time will tell.
  17. There's just no middle option for lack of a better way of putting it. It would be great to have a 30-35k stadium in Scotland would be useful for games like this..... but not likely many others.....
  18. Potentially Cowie could be quite a good influence on Jack and Storie. The guy is a model pro, knows Scottish football and has played at a good level. I thought he was a player at Inverness and our ex Inverness player record is pretty strong it has to be said. If we do sign him it could yet be a canny bit of business. Edit. Had a look at a Wigan forum and it would seem most resentment toward him was to do with how much he was on.
  19. And it's a fair point to be fair. Only player that has any kind of chance of playing epl is Fraser..... and that's a pretty fucking slim chance.
  20. That remains to be seen. http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11668/9974947/chelsea-closing-in-on-1634m-deal-to-sign-reading-defender-michael-hector He may yet go on to do just that.
  21. The short story why I would like to see play more is that I think I he's got a bit of guile about him. Some chat on pie and bovril about Irvine and O'Halloran. It's probably bollocks but 150k for Irvine (which would be about the remainder of his contract) and a similar fee plus goodwillie for O'Halloran after the semis is what's being said.
  22. Seems about time that the boy has a thread of his own. He's definitely impressed in the past few games and certainly hasn't looked phased in the slightest. Not only that the partnership with Maclean looks very promising also, arguably the most effective cm duo of the campaign so far. Apparently DM was saying on the radio that he expects a new player in before the next game. If so it's pretty likely it's going to be a cm and I'm hoping it's Irvine from county as part of the Quinn deal. If so it would leave a big decision for DM going into Celtic game. Continue with the inexperienced though currently performing Storie and MacLean or change it up by bringing in the new guy.
  23. I see Irvine was supposed to be on the bench again today but had to start due to Martin Wood picking up an injury in the warm up. If Quinn is going to county I would not be surprised to see Irvine sign for us.
  24. Points of note for me were as follows. Brown looks far more relaxed in goals than he did at any punt last season, marshall's influence perhaps. The myth that MacLean is wasted as a cm has surely been dispelled. It's just not working with goodwillie, Smith looked far more dangerous in ten minutes of play. Celtic will not like playing on that pitch
  25. Tough game this one, really tough. Dundee are coming in good form and our defence is looking pretty shaky... out, fucking friday fixtures. home watch it might go to the pub score draw seems most likely
