  1. I knew Mark for 25 years give or take, I didn't know him as well as I would have liked but I had a huge amount of time for him. He was a very funny guy, especially if he deemed someone late for the supporters bus. I faced his ire on this a few times and one time argued with him all the way to forres that jist because the bus was there 15 minutes early it didn't mean I was late by arriving 5 minutes before it was due to leave. He was a good guy and easily the biggest diehard I ever met, I'm really going to miss him. RIP Rattler.
  2. I thought ball was alright today, nothing spectacular but he put a shift in and was breaking up a lot of play in the second half. I thought Shinnie looked a bit tired today, great win though Kille are a pretty decent side.
  3. Downright bizzare, I've never heard of a club confirm a bid for their player successful only to have the named purchaser deny it. Wonder if Hamilton just want to move him on now.
  4. Preston agree fee for Devlin, next.
  5. I was speaking to a pal of mine last night who's a follower of the tribute act. He's a good guy actually despite his hunnish flaw. After the usual bluster from both sides we both agreed that this is a really interesting game given all the context let alone the actual teams themeselves. We look back in business going forward but the defence is shaky and their side is a big unknown. Depressingly they have done some canny business this window and I think Jimmy Nicholl will prove a very astute appointment also. In short it is not outwith the realms of possibility this could be as poor a night for us as it could be good because sadly the tribute act are looking not so bad roster wise now. Fuck knows how DM is going to approach this given the lack of knowledge of the hun team but having McKenna back is a biggie. You would have to hope Arnason too as it's the best pairing so far, It's a little immobile but as solid as we have got. Shinnie and Maclean are key tonight and if they play as they have been we have a hell of a chance to win comfortably. I would love Maclean to get a goal, he's gone about his transfer the right way and he would leave with hero status if he knocked in the winner at Mordor.

Can you post what you said for entertainment purposesm
  7. Hope it goes well seebass
  8. Tough game, can see Smith coming back to haunt us. I always rated him and he's doing really well there. Still fancy us though, sneak it 2-1 Stewart and Rooney
  9. We could get docherty of Hamilton for 500k you would think
  10. In fairness for a blatant attempt to unsettle the boy Adkins quotes are fairly respectful. Hull are a big enough team to turn his head a wee bit, Premier League team last season after all. I'm obviously biased but looking at it as objectively as possible you would think McKenna would at least want to see the season out at AFC. Adkins has a reasonable record and would probably give him a chance in the team too but he could be gone by the summer if he doesn't turn hull around. He's only on an 18 month deal and they are in a bit of a mess. You wouldn't begrudge him wanting to at least quadruple his wage though and there will be more attention from down south in the summer if he finishes the season strongly given the complete dearth of cb's at the moment. Probably not to hull though.
  11. The reign of the current incumbant has been a soap oprah so why not.....
  12. No, we don't need him
  13. We can't afford christie, tims will want a mill plus for him. I think we should be looking to see if birmingham will release Stewart for a reasonable sum instead. He's started to look really good recently and I think he will be a big player for us post split.
  14. Cosgrove just asked Liam McLeod on off the ball if Maynard to St J was a thing. LM said no comment but postulated he might actually get a chance to score at St J
  15. Feel no shame Bobby, you owe us nothing...
  16. Best xmas present I've had this year!
  17. Return of the mac! Delighted
  18. Interesting appointment, I've never really seen Pulis at a club where he will be expected to try and win a title/get promoted. Wonder if the tribute act actually ever spoke to him.

    Films

The last jedi is distinctly fucking average at best and a total mess in places. To describe this the best star wars film ever is utterly ridiculous. Seriously, you think this is better than empire? Jesus wept.
  20. Gms keeps up recent form combined with the return of mcginniesta? That's an exciting prospect.
  21. SN comes across as a thoroughly nice bloke. At Everton he gave his complimentary tickets to homeless people as they would never normally be able to go. As a player I'm not sure we would need him but I could see him doing well for most Scottish teams. Could see him going back to Killie to be honest.
  22. tims 2 down at Tynecastle, deservedly as well by the sounds of it. Feel dirty for cheering a lafferty goal but i did have him down as anytime scorer.
  23. That wee flick from GMS to may in the build up to his 3rd was exquisite.
  24. Fair enough but can I ask why? Wright won the scottish cup with fucking ST J for goodness sake. I really don't get why so many don't like him.
  25. He's done alright so far but not sure he is ready for the step up. He's defo got promise though. Personal preference would be Wright. I know a lot of people disagree and I really don't care, I think he is a very canny manager who would do well with us. My second choice would be Archibald fwiw and I think he should be added to the poll.
