  1. It's just aswell i was sittin down when i read the score on the official site Friendly or not it's still a joke with the team that played. JC said yesterday he wanted goals, well that 180 mins now without a single one!!!
  2. Decent signing. Will certainly take the pressure off seve now if they can play alongside each other. A mate of mine has been saying for a number of seasons we've still to replace big Markus so it's possible to say he might just be the one to do this. If so it's taken about three seasons to do so. SuperKev won't be replaced for another season then and ando the following one
  3. i'd be amazed if he signs for us as he'd be signing for a club with the same ambitions and chances of silverware etc as the one he's leaving. That's the sad fact of this league there's very little between us outside the filth. If he were to sign and it is a big if then could he play alongside severin? i would say both are very similar players and would surely struggle together. if we don't get in another ball player then we'll have either seve or touzani playing with mcdonald in centre midfield. mcdonald gets injured we've only got smith left who can play in midfield as the creative influence.
  4. I'll be reserving judgement after the transfer window shuts in august. By then we'll really see what the club have done to entice the fans back for another season. The word "quality" is being heavily used when the club are describing the players set to be signed. Those who have left will be replaced with the same "quality" they say. To replace barry nic, hart and clark you need to spend money. Well Gary McDonald is a decent player going by peoples judgement and his reputation but this keeper comes across as being a cheap option. Hopefully there'll be some big signings but i can't see it to be honest. Last year we got JDV(if you can call him a big signing) but sadly he just hasn't got going. There's no excuses not to bring in bloody good players as we have the cash to it after last season!!!
  5. the above story is also confirmed on the northsound 2 website. certainly rules out darren young coming back if he signs, surely!!??
  6. your alright mate he's shite worse than soutar!!!
  7. Langfield Diamond Severin J Smith Nicholson Foster Touzani Miller Considine Maguire De Visscher Maybury Rustled up this dirty dozen. Clangers for me is by far the better keeper out of the two where tries to take command of situations the biggest reason he got dropped earlier was due to the shambles in front of him. Soutar totally lacks bottle. Barry and Miller are virtually gone but i'd rather have them than not at all. Maguire a player who's not exactly short of his critics is a far better player now than Mackie and still has a huge amount to learn.
  8. If yer into boxing al get nigel benns biography
  9. not exactly a positive team for the gers considering they're playing at home, McGregor, Broadfoot, Cuellar, Weir, Whittaker, Dailly,Ferguson, Davis,Adam,Darcheville, Burke one upfront
  10. same team as the one against murderwell except mackie on the bench for miller due to injury.
  11. well that was a waste of a listen
  12. BBC Radio Scotland said there will be an in depth interview with him at 9pm tonight. Hopefully he doesn't say the usual things we've heard over the past few days and we get to hear some new info. His interview on red tv was quite decent as he confirmed there might be some transfer fees spent on taking in players Alan Gow is worth a try
  13. i know that i'm not disagreeing. it's the fact he's a far better player than people can see that's my point not that he should've been subbed on instead of lovell. you may regret those comments sneckie how you can you can say he's not an spl player is ludicrous the lad is only 19 and has a long way to go before he's a fully fledged striker. diamond is still learning the game and developing his ability and has played three times as many games.
  14. i'm not speaking about the game today. i'm on about the general furore for lovell to play, maguire is totally off form just now and the fact he's out of contract in the summer must be playing on his mind too. i'd rather see him get a place in the team and try to gain some form than someone who has no desire to play for us at all. de vissch is not a winger as you say. the lad played in a front three back in holland and playing further up the park is difficult for him due to his lack of pace and the opposition playing so deep. aswell as this he's got to track back far more than he's ever been used to. then we've got the style of our game to get used to, something he's never had the chance to do due to lack of matches he's been picked for on the bounce.
  15. i had to stop listening after the third one sunk in the net why there's such a desire to see lovell play i'll never know, the lad doesn't want to be here and will be off in the summer. to say miller and mackie upfront doesn't work is silly considering the lack of service they have been getting the last few weeks. mackie only came back from injury a few weeks back and is a player who's struggling for form and confidence. i'm no big fan of his but i believe his luck might just turn if he gets the right service. our freekicks since the semi with united have been an absolute disgrace and sounded like they were even worse today never mind our crossing. since the turn of the year the heart in our team has disapeared. the loss of hart and clark has been far bigger than people thought
  16. i would happily see us plunder falkirk for a few of their players. the lad barr was more than a match for miller when i seen him play against us at crimbo. he was captain that day and looks like the kind of player who would do well alongside diamond. if he's a left pegger then all the better.
  17. i reckon we've got to go unbeaten up to the split for us to even have a remote chance of catching third or fourth. Murderwell and ushited are both really unpredictable just now and have some shocking records against the poorer teams especially ushited. Well also have a fair few games to make up on the rest of us which should hoefully take it's toll. So maybes we'll bridge the gap with a bit of luck. I'm not convinced by Hibs at all they were shite on wed and once again they robbed us. They will surely fall away as they've far to many players to bed in to the team and others more intrested in leaving(their captain for a start). My main worry is our defence as soon as we get a decent performance from a pairing like diamond with bryne or daimond with considine there's an injury to the latter players. The lad Bus just doesn't convince me so i hope to fuck considine is fit for thur and the following games. The Killie game is an absolute must win!!
  18. that info was from that donkey from bbc sportsound who's set to commentate on our game. the team is langfield, maybury, bus, diamond, mair, seve, barry, sone, jeffrey, miller, macguire subs- lovell, walker, jonny smith, karim, duff, soutar and carrol.
  19. What's everyone up when they're over? Other than the game and a bit oh shoppin i've no idea what we can do over there. i've had a wee look at the tourism site but nothin really stands out. i fancied a tour of the stadium but they don't hold them on matchdays so i can't see us going up there twice in two days. Is there any bars/strip which we'll all be congregating in? A museum worth seeing? A building that must be seen/tour? cheers for any shout outs
  20. pretty much spot on there funster apart from chosing jackie mcnamara he's awfull going forward, has no pace at all. we've really been spoilt having hart for so long even if could only put in the odd decent ball.
  21. i refused to buy a paper today and did well to even look at the ones which were kicking about work. so watching the goals would be to much to bare to :hammer: their keeper was an absolute disgrace but the fact the linesman did absolutley nothin to stop him pissed me off even more!!
  22. smith is said to injured once again after taking a knock in training today. hopefully this is just bullshit and we're playing mind games!!! if he's injured then robson missing for united won't make any odds as both teams will have lost their best players. fuck knows who we should play on the left wing to replace him as foster was gash once again on sat. the lad grainger is also cup tied for united so who will they replace him with as kalvenes is injured is he not? jc could pick de visch on the right wing and he could have a stormer but he could just as likely have a shocker! there's so much debate on what jc does for the team tomorrow here's hopin he gets it spot on and we're well drilled. this game could be an absolute shocker as so much is at stake but if we win we'll soon forget. so here's hopin!!!
  23. my thoughts exactly totally hated the bastard but as you say decent player. welcome aboard
  24. One thing these links with Hart prove are how laughable the ones with cellic were. there's absolutely no way they were ever going to sign him. he's just not good enough to play at the level of champions league for a start.
