  1. This goes back to my point, he's had his chance. Get rid of him and move on. The bare minimum that any football fan should expect from their players is 100% effort and commitment, and I feel we don't get this from Lovell.
  2. Nail on head. They simply wanted it more than us. We can make up excuses, blame the fans, blame the manager, but the simple fact is the players on the pitch didn't fight for a place in the final. They had a massive chance but blew it, spectacularly.
  3. I agree, but you're telling the wrong person. I still think that Lovell could at least give us 100% every game, regardless of how we're playing. If he at least showed a little bit of passion and fight for the cause, I'd be more inclined to wish he does get a start but he rarely shows it. Surely the players on the pitch know Lovell's strengths, so why do they continue to play the long ball?
  4. Easy, I wasn't talking about Lee Miller. I think we'd all agree that Miller has shown what he's capable of this season, and that until recent weeks we couldn't fault his effort. Whenever Lovell plays he skulks around and just doesn't put the effort in. Primadonna springs to mind. The first thing any professional should be doing on the pitch is giving 100% effort, we'd be lucky if we see a tenth of Lovell's effort when he plays.
  5. He's had his chances. Numerous chances
  6. Exactly, he's just signed a 3 year contract so there's no way he'll be off the payroll in the near future.
  7. I'd never berate Aberdeen's away fans as we're generally one of the better away crowds, but the fans last night were shocking
  8. B Make mine a pint of Nastro Azzuro please
  9. The Dons fans last night couldn't get up for a semi-final, let alone the players
