  1. So why the f*ck are you moaning at the club when you take into account they've done nothing wrong yet?
  2. That's what I said, but it got deleted. The guy's obviously a fud
  3. Who'd you believe, the Sunday Mail or the AFC website?!?
  4. Can someone point out exactly where Aberdeen say that they've accepted the Old Firm's proposal, of them receiving 5% of ticket sales, from the original Sunday Mail article? Here's another viewpoint, from someone who knows as much as the next person : The Old Firm make a proposal to the other 10 SPL clubs, which they know won't go down well. Fans of the other SPL clubs are outraged at the sheer arrogance of this proposal and immediately demand they retract this proposal. Some clubs admit they may have no choice but to accept, some say there's no way they'll accept, and some say nothing, instead looking at every possible outcome. The weegie press see a chance to sensationalise a story, but can't as they've nothing to base it on. Duncan Fraser releases a quote in which he admits it'd be best for all parties concerned if Rangers continued distributing tickets, as most would agree, but doesn't say anything with regard to Aberdeen accepting the proposal. The weegie press take this quote and sensationalise it, thus printing a quote from Duncan Fraser in which he admits it'd be best for all parties concerned if Rangers continued distributing tickets, but they also fail to point out that nothing has been agreed with regard to the 5%. They also print a quote from 'the insider', but no direct quote from Grampian Police or no direct quote from Aberdeen or Rangers saying they've accepted the proposal
  5. So the Hunday Mail changed Duncan Fraser's wording...
  6. Why does Snoop Dogg carry an umbrella? For drizzle
  7. You know what I meant, the usual suspects were quick to have a moan but won't acknowledge when the club is going about something the right way.
  8. I'm aware of that, but everyone's been acting under the assumption that we've 'caved in'. Quick to jump on the bandwagon, much in the same way they did last season with the 'Madrid ticket fiasco', but they won't turn round and give the club credit when they appear to be going about things the right way.
  9. Do you want them to phone you? Or maybe they're planning releasing a statement throught the much-hated Glasgow press in the morning? Quick enough to shout down the club though?
  10. You should just post it on here...
  11. The silence is deafening. Who'll be the first to bite the bullet and admit they got it wrong? Place your bets...
  12. I wonder if the people here will e-mail their apologies to the club for the mistake they've made... *goestostartnewthread*
  13. Just found this on this site - http://www.filbertstreet.net/players.php3 Near the bottom of the page under 'Goals'.
  14. This is the only info from Jack Webster's book, 'The First 100 Years of The Dons' For your information, Aberdeen wore white in 1903 (the year we were formed), changed to Black & Gold in 1904 and red tops were first worn on 18th March 1939. The passage with regard to Ian Black seems to suggest that he signed sometime in the early 1940's, and I don't think he was there for too long. Also, the Martin Buchan mentioned in this passage isn't the one that most would think, the former Aberdeen and Manchester United player, however it is his father.
  15. Which is? Why hurt the club when the people who should be standing up for them, the SPL and the SFA, get away scot-free? They're the ones who should be telling the Old Firm that their proposals are not 'cricket'. Hurt them, not your club.
  16. To be honest, thank f*ck I don't know you at all.
  17. Soon you'll go mental and press capslock, then I'll know you're really angry. And if I still don't get scared, you'll send me a PM. Grrr... The way of the samurai keyboard warrior.
  18. It's funny how 'fans' are seeing things the clubs aren't.
