£9.17 kitns -35p us 2/3 picks bb & rs, 4/6 kitns, all 67% kitns got lucky in that by picking two losers in the same bet, his doubles are 2/3 whereas ours are 1/3 Game on

Not only does his record of non-achievement disqualify him from ever being sought for advice by any sane-minded employer, his personality is an even bigger handicap. He does moroseness to perfection, an unfortunate disposition which is a barrier to inspiring and motivating others. The fact he lasted 900 games in management is a tragic reflection of the industry of football. His last line about the poor squad will be his death knell. Not only does it show how stupid he is, it's a fitting way to sign off this hapless man's hopeless management career.

Done something I've never done before. I stopped watching after 37 minutes. Can't even remember what happened in that minute but enough is enough. In over 50 years of watching Scotland, this is the first time I've given up on telly games. Gave up on live games after the Dam Arena.
-
I've never seen a worse 30 minutes in international football. I don't watch Faroe Islands v. Latvia right enough. But fuck me this is poor. On the positive side, it's impossible to be any worse.
-
I suppose the goal in the 13th minute going through our captain's legs might be a sign. Same old.
-
Probably the worst 12 minutes of international football ever played. Inspiring start. Not. Costa Rica are shite too.
-
£10 on it B.B. Morton 1/3 & Wigan 7/10. My mate picked Ayr for our double and I added Wigan and he picked Coventry for our Quad. Lot of great minds thinking alike here
-
I don't understand your post? The only thing I am getting is that you may be trying to be a smart arse about something? My apologies if I misinterpreted and that you were just going down the humour line, which also escaped me?
-
That's a new angle, the remembering of a hypothesis. This makes my soul sing. And it also makes me sad. Agree that the McLeish factor is the most interesting aspect of tonight and a crutch for renewed optimism.
-
We say that we don't care about the result but we will no doubt be bouncing around the room on the occasion of the Scotland goals. It's a defence mechanism, this pretence apathy. We are forcing it upon ourselves due to the frequency with which we have had misery imposed upon us. The SFA are still wankers and most Scots fans are scum.
-
Talking of apathy towards our national team, tonight might have been the first game where, armed with the ability to watch it on telly, I chose not to bother. But it probably won't be.
-
Betting on golf matchplay for a single bet even is like shooting into a barrel of fish. Anybody can beat anybody in this format, as Uihlein and others proved yesterday. My advice is NOT to bet on this format, not with any serious dough anyway.
-
No apologies required nor due. It was a good pick at a good price. I've found a couple of lovely nailed on teams for Saturday already. I got the same price for them as I got for Berliner AK 07 tonight, currently 2-0 up away from home, a team I'd never heard of and I lived in Deutschland for six years! Got KFC Uerdingen 05, another team I've never heard of, in a couple of trebles with them, 1-0 up already after 16 minutes

The worst things about the Boris x-examination were the tone and the x-examiners. Had I been the chairman - they didn't request my services - I might have interjected, or interejaculated, whatever the posh term is. I'm at least encouraged that my phone autocorrects posh with pish, such has been my use of the latter but I would've taken that smugness right oot his coupon with "innocent people are lying in hospital, there are major state relationships at stake here and you think it's a source of humour, merriment and buffoonery?" Had I imbibed of claret at lunch, I might have added "grow up you fucking public schoolboy wank and stop acting the prick". It was a disgusting scene, a PR faux questioning designed to sell the establishment line. The fuckers doing the "questioning" should also, like Boris, be executed and when rocket takes charge, they will be.

Fuck you're right. Knew it began with L. From some wee country I've never been to, and probably couldn't locate on a map. But reason 4 will bring it home. Never betted on an international friendly before. And probably never will again after the 0-0 tonight.
-
I hope you continue it tonight cos inspired by your picks, I've put Lichtenstein at evens in a double with Wigan tonight. Plus a treble on three teams I've never heard of from the Italian and German lower leagues. The reason I'm backing Lichtenstein is because 1. One of their club sides beat Sevco 2. Andorra are shite 3. Lichtenstein are at home, but most of all 4. You backed them at 7/10 so evens is better value and you're lucky so I'm having some of that

I think there's a danger of mixing the debates here. Barton - a reprobate undereducated thick piece of shit of zero integrity and an absolute arsehole - cast aspersions towards the quality in the Scottish game. And this is the game we grew up with, the league we have invested the most in for most of our lives. By whichever benchmark we care to use - player wages, national team, interest from outwith Scotland or simply just watching the SPFL often enough - Barton is absolutely correct. The quality of footballer we watch has been steadily declining for many decades where most of us think our own club, the second best in the country, only has 3 or 4 competent technicians, the rest being loser journeymen. And even our best players aren't good enough to get anywhere near the top leagues in Europe. And this is the country with the biggest ratio of population to crowd figures in the world. The vast majority of us, like football fans worldwide, only support one team. So we don't give a fuck who wins the overhyped EPL or the incestuous Champions League. But some of us still love the game despite the fact we see it being played very badly at Pittodrie by both our own club and the opposition most weeks. I won't bother with MOTD most weeks but any good football I do happen across isn't Scottish. Mo Salah on Saturday was sublime - happened to get a train to a pub to meet some old guys - and like de Bruyne and Sane and Willian at various times this season, has been breathtakingly brilliant to watch. Money has skewed the stakes and has de-levelled the playing field for sure, and our country's administrators couldn't have been less competent but the fact is, the game in this country including our own team is substandard shite.

£14.17 in profit after 2, 100% picks, 4/4. Great start min.
-
After 3 bets: - BB 67%, RS 67% 33% NOD. Balance (between us) = -35p Saturday next.
-
They're right though. Aberdeen win their game in hand and we're 2nd and I've not seen a good AFC team this season.
-
I don't believe we're disagreeing about too much. The one thing we are most in agreement about is how shite the managerial gene pool is not just in Scotland but the UK. It amazes me how some donkeys keep on getting employment with certain and predictable outcomes and it saddens me how few genuinely talented managers there are in football.
-
Point of order TC... you can't agree with me cos I didn't say anything! I suggested that that line told us everything we need to know so now that you have interpreted it, I agree with you. In part. I didn't see any reason for correlating his interview with any one club, like you did with WBA. We've always known he's been using us as a stepping stone. I'm just amazed that he thinks he's bigger and better than us. In my book, the manager of our club should be more competent than that midget balls-less charlatan cunt. The biggest thing I took from that line wasn't his ambition, obvious and now articulated, but his misconception. He thinks he's done a wonderful job at Aberdeen. He thinks he only has to do a wee bit more. The man is fucking deluded and he reveals himself for what he is, a total loser.
-
Based on nothing? Our manager has been quoted. He gave them an interview. He gave them the time of day. That comment re Rangers was obviously made up shite but didn't you see what he did there? He wants to do "a bit more at Aberdeen first". Tells us EVERYTHING we need to know.
-
Coincidence, my mate picked Ayr and Dunfermline is my pick. Dunno which bookies you use or whether the prices have come in but I got 4/9 on Ayr and 9/20 on Dunf on McBookie. I tend to stick with bet365 or them as they usually are in amongst the best odds.
-
Good shooting loon, £9.06 up after one double. The home came in a lot easier than the away but great start, 2 x odds against. Keep us posted of your second double picks and your stake. Let's see who's the most in profit come May. 10/1 not enuf to tempt me. Tiger was rusty this weekend but great to have him back.
