Moyes doesn’t help himself. Him saying that West Am have got a good manager might be an admirable statement of self confidence in his mind but he wasn’t a popular choice before he made an arse of himself, and given his record in recent years, he’s not as good as he thinks he is. Classic setting up for a fall type behaviour.

Anyway, after all that shite, it’s pretty obvious that our footballers aren’t good enough. It’s going to be a horrible next six months for AFC I feel.

Can you help me here? I didn’t understand the intent of these words of yours? You wrote them so I presume you know why you did? Was it an attempt to provoke or a veiled insult? Perhaps it was an expression of regret, since your many calls for my banning have gone unrequited... so far. What was the point of that post?
-
Whoa. When you wrote “formations eh?”, that was a direct reference. You were inviting conflict. In my opinion, you are stubborn, you lack mental agility and you have a pathological need not to be wrong. You didn’t engage in the original debate and went off on one. If you had debated and acknowledged others points of view, you wouldn’t need to keep on harking back to old sores. You resorting to insults or using other diversionary tactics isn’t going to make anyone forget what was posted before. If you don’t want me to challenge you, don’t invite me to, as you clearly did on this thread, like so many others. You’re obsessed.

You may be regretting your first unprovoked personal attack. You have proof? The record can’t be changed. You started it but I’ll finish it. Forums need a diversity of opinions and the richness and depth of your experience of life, football and everything is something we all benefit from. So please keep posting. I’m going, to pursue my loneliness elsewhere perhaps, so that you can continue to spout your stuff in peace.

I don’t think you know what you’re talking about. You’re a fucking dickhead from what I’m reading. But I’ve been wrong before.
-
Ok, you weren’t there today and your opinion isn’t negated by this. But if your opinion is to carry any weight whatsoever, you need to start speaking sense. Or you can at least back up what you post. Who would you invest in? Who of our current squad isn’t good enough?

Thank you Al. You’ve saved a couple of hours of life. Me and the Mrs were thinking of going to go see it in London one afternoon next week, only cos we usually take in a film when we’re down there and that was the one she suggested. But when our 16 year old saw it last weekend, she didn’t rate it so that was an alarm bell and so you’ve just killed the possibility. It can get to fuck. Never got into Agatha Christie anyway. Bitch.

You see it like I see it min SAF actually created something at AFC that was unique and equally successful but he did it with siege mentalities, a ruthless drive and an element of tinkdom. Di Stefano described Aberdeen as "having a soul" in 1983, something that SAF brought to the front but thanks to Dick Donald and Teddy Scott and Jim Anderson etc., the many servants and enthusiasts who made up the whole culture, that made it possible for him to do it. And yet some still think it's all about the talent of the players, not the tactics, not the strategy, not the philosophy, not the work ethic and organisation and not the culture behind the scenes, all things that their little brains can't acknowledge to exist, far less comprehend.

You’re wrong. He’s right. I have a compunction to put certain “people down”. Or more properly, point out the error of their ways. But when they react like a fucking arsehole, I find it difficult not to release a rocket or three. The irony is, well, there’s too many, I wouldn’t know where to start. He’s also spot on about thinking I’m better... at certain, specific things mind you. Cmon cmon cmon... loves the greatest thing, that we have.

Ahh a third definition. The most watery interpretation. The one most commonly used, the ability to “get on” with people. I know my strengths and weaknesses all right, and my intolerance isn’t my best suit. But people who demonstrate gross ignorance AS WELL as gross arrogance should be shot. People who dismiss everyone in schemes as “coonsil twats wi nae money” for example, people who say - I mean they believe it so much that they actually wrote it - that they can determine personality aspects from musical preferences, and people who exercise transference in their denial.

Shankly: Nature’s Fire, available now on BBC iPlayer. You MUST watch this if you’re interested in any of the following subjects; Football People Life Inspiration Devotion Achievement Success Change He was the best manager ever in my opinion. Before the imbecile wades in with infantile “banter”, remember that “best” requires definition first. I didn’t say that he was the most successful.

“Theresa May has launched her strongest attack on Russia yet, accusing Moscow of meddling in elections and carrying out cyber espionage. Speaking at the Lord Mayor's banquet in London, the prime minister said Vladimir Putin's government was trying to "undermine free societies". Mrs May said they were "planting fake stories" to "sow discord in the West". But, she added, whilst the UK did not want "perpetual confrontation" with Russia, it would protect its interests. Her comments are in stark contrast to those of US President Donald Trump, who last week said he believed President Putin's denial of intervening in the 2016 presidential election”. The BBC are running this hard. Yet it’s not being reported by Reuters? This is good and bad. Actually, no good can come from anything the rulers do. It’s only when the sheeple wake up that rights can be wronged. But isn’t this propaganda so see through that’s it’s completely obvious? Not obvious to NE Scotland obviously who voted Tory but there is huge money to be made and major power shifts to be had from war. The beneficiaries from war are few in number, an infinitesimal fraction of the population and yet the majority allow the continuing avarice? Bill Shankly would’ve said “bloody greedy”. -
My days of reading CV’s are in the past thankfully but having read 20,000+, I can pass on some wisdom on this topic. People who use the words “interpersonal skills” when trying to promote themselves. It’s not as much annoying as it’s sad. They never got an interview if it was in their CV and they never got the job if they came out with it during an interview. In the latter case, what was particularly annoying was that they had got past the initial screening process in order to be able to utter those words in my presence.

I don’t think Italy and Scotland are comparable, in any way. On more pertinent matters, Iran ?? won and Saudi Arabia ?? got beat. Is this a harbinger for impending doom and if so, who shall be the doomers and who shall be the doomees?

Harsh. I’ve heard they’re nice people at Barnet. They don’t deserve that cunt. They’re just not very good at recruiting, that’s all. Like many, they can’t read a man. People skills is ambiguous. For most it means skill in managing people. Exploiting them. Getting the most out of them. Paying them less than they’re worth. I’m not very good at that. But my people skills are razor fucking sharp. If you consider my definition. The skill of understanding people, of seeing what they’re made of, seeing right through them, being able to spot the charlatan, the lazy bastard and the good guys just from eye contact, smell and feel. Sensory perceptions are mostly inexplicable, being of another realm. Teach your kids to use their instincts people. They were born with it. By like everything, we use it or we lose it. McGhee's level is not in management, at any level. There will be good men choking in his presence.

And for fuck sake, leave a one space gap between a full stop and the start of the next shit you speak.
-
Ok already. I left my arse out there. Takes a certain kind of bandit to want to play with it though. What’s your Scotland team, imbecile?

Hey guys, I know it’s radical, I know it’s nonsense but think about it... Jack was really impressive in defensive duties last night, like really good. And McKenna is young, and he’s hungry, and he has cunt about him * Plus there’s no obvious quality looking at the CB positions. It’s thinking outside the box, something we as a nation are terribly poor at. * I lived in Melbourne for 3 years and every Saturday, we used to skin these various Aussies on the golf course. They paid our annual Country Club subs every 2 to 3 months in their gambling losses. We were all 2-4 handicap golfers but this dude from NZ came over, a mate of my four ball partner, about 5/7 years younger than us and he was a cut above us all in golf ability. After a couple of weeks, one of the contributors to my wallet, a regular golf opponent asked me what I thought about the young Kiwi. “Beautiful golfer” I said, “just wonderful to see him in action” (he played for his country in his youth). This guy - a couple of years older than me - surprised me with his retort. “Yeah yeah, he’s not got enough cunt about him” he said. I thought “you sick fuck” thinking like that. But many years later, I learned he was 100% spot on. To succeed in anything, you need major cunt about ye. McKenna has got that. He hates losing. He will empty a cunt who takes the piss. You can’t teach attitude and desire. Throw them in the deep end more often. Then we see if they swim or sink.
