  1. Fucking right I would. Her dad might have been a racist radical but I love this girl's views. I'd walk from Orly to CDG for a fuck with it.
  2. Some advice to Hertz. Get rid of Cathro. The man's a fucking clown.
  3. Roddy? Yeah I know him an a. Yeah they two were thick as thieves. May know you to look at and our paths may have crossed. I was 94 to 99 in Stoney then back for a few years until 4 years ago when we moved to a more civilised environment Don't like Stoney. Soft but crazy. Too parochial e.g. Hamilton Accies / niggers etc. but the school was good and did our kids very well.
  4. Last seen him in the Station hotel bar a year or so back. Must've first met him 20-25 years ago. Can't remember how we first met but as we lived in Stoney when we first came back from overseas, it may have been through the golf as we had a mutual acquaintance. Have been a customer and a supplier to him and his wife's business back in the day. Good guy. Genuine.
  5. There was some recent noise about the correlation between heading the ball and dementia etc. I know McNeill's brother-in-law who lives in Stonehaven. That's where Billy and his family lived and they all loved their time in the North East. The chapter on Scotland in the book I'm reading just now by "the secret footballer" was a first hand account of the effects of living in Glasgow as an OF player. I can just imagine the ugliness that a Celtic legend would've had to endure from the knuckle-dragging blue half of the city.
  6. For any of you who like women, a present for you... I should re-phrase... for any of you who love women who are strong, independent and talented. So many of you beat your women. Domestic violence has always been and always will be. It's because you're weak men. Like muslims, you're scared of the power and strength of women and you're not man enough to a) get a good one, b) get it to love you and c) educate it to the benefits of cohabiting with mutual aspirations, give and take and compromise being essential for any successful interaction.
  7. Hahahahahahaha... farking beautiful.
  8. The beauty about dry runs is the zero restriction on release. Every January, I don't drink. It's only to pretend to myself I'm not a social alcoholic. But every week, I have AFD's, alcohol-free day's. Having not drunk any alcohol this Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, I'm bevvying any fucking thing I want this weekend. 3 or 4 pints in the pub, a bottle of red the now, zero guilt. I've earned the right to drink... This is all a bit fucked up no? Why can't we all be French or Italian or Spanish? Once a Scotsman, always a bevvy merchant. I fucking love meeting and bonding with random cunts over a bevvy though. So no excuse for 70/80% of my alcohol intake to be at home these days.
  9. If that bit in bold were true - and I'm not saying it isn't - then how do you explain the lack of "traditional sentimentality" shown to the board of AFC over the last 20+ years? Why didn't the fans object to Milne and let him know what they thought? Did they not see what he was doing? Did they think he's been operating with the club's best interests at heart? Why have the majority of us not voiced our concerns over this very extended period?
  10. Doesn't surprise me, neither the decision to sack nor the outrage about the decision. The biggest surprise to me, and indeed everyone was that they won the EPL although some fan stuck a fiver on at 5,000/1. Ranieri is another who's had too many clubs. There will be specific reasons for his lack of longevity. His managerial achievements have been pretty sparse actually which made last season even more surprising.
  11. Typical journalistic spin but he's probably right. Also agree that he's got too big an opinion of himself. Much as his talent and skills are obvious, I've always said he's too physically lightweight to go all the way. Strachan was even slighter than him but he had essential qualities that Maddison will never have. Heart. You can't beat Desire. Desire to work harder than the rest. Desire to work smarter than the rest. It ALWAYS pays.
  12. I came across it by accident earlier in the week, started watching and within 5 minutes got hooked. I googled it last night, having completed seeing it in full and unsurprisingly it's been nominated for tons of awards. It really is "multilevel", being deeply disturbing and highly informative at the same time. Absolute must see for anyone with a functioning brain and an interest in the human condition, the only currency for self awareness and personal growth of course.
  13. Staggering result in the Copeland by-election. What it proves is the stupidity and/or the moral cowardice of many English. In a smaller company, region, organisation or country, it's easier to see what's real. No chance would Scotland ever vote Tory majority but even here we have establishment arselickers. That Mundell is an incredible abomination. I don't despair for Copeland but it's tragic that a majority of half the eligible voters (and 50% turnout was better than just over a third in Stoke) see sufficient in the conservatives to actually put pen to paper. The leader of the traditional alternative party has been battered by the corrupted media and his own party. This was superbly illustrated on QT last night. That sour-faced self-satisfied wank chairman of Stoke spouted the usual anti-Corbyn rhetoric which inspired two ordinary decent people to launch to his defence. Integrity was the key word. Within the government, there is none and the ignorant English don't care.
  14. For white v. black in Amerikuh, check out 7.5 hours of OJ Simpson on BBC iPlayer, available for the next three weeks. The story and portrait of the man was fascinating enough but the climate at the time, the LAPD, the race cards being played, the interviews with close friends, with relatives of the dead, with the key lawyers and press people etc. etc. all made for gripping viewing.
  15. Chances are it will be sunshine in 5 weeks time though Going to Corfu for a week in May, for the second time, the first time with the wife. The last time was over a third of a century ago. You done the right thing escaping the NE. It's on its arse and the weather is getting worse year on year. It's becoming a really depressing city centre. But it's home... dilemmas, dilemmas...
  16. Will do. Not definite yet. Away the whole of the previous week but getting sick of the relentless weather here so a couple of days in the sun could be nice. You spell Estepona the way you say it, not how the Spanish spell it!!!
  17. I don't like Sotogrande either but that's where the tournament is. Stayed in Estepona a couple of years ago. Was excellent. That's a possibility and will check out those other 2 places, cheers. Yeah need to hire a car. Need that flexibility to go where we want when we want.
  18. Malaga min, some advice if you can. Was looking at going to Sotogrande for the European Nations at the end of March. Flights to and from Malaga direct from Abz Thursday and Sunday. Would stay at an airport hotel the Saturday night (cos early start home) but where would you recommend within 15/20 minutes drive of the golf? What towns/areas near Sotogrande are nice? Will be wife and I.
  19. Depends what you mean by a "good" chance. A look at the table shows Hibs lost 2 in 24 and Ayr won only 4 in 24. Given that they won the cup last year, I'd give you 7/2 right now.
  20. For a toke, forget the pre-rolled skunks that taste as chemically as they are and give you a headache. Go to the original Greenhouse. The first time we went we were looking at the menu and the guy said - "zis side of ze menu is for ze body, like a moosle relaxant and zis side is for ze head". I did my homework online before we went and we went for Jack Herrer, a past winner of the Cannabis Cup. That was on the "for ze body" side of the menu so pretty mild for the mind but awesome on the body and soul. Good to not get too trippy if being typically Scottish and drinking on the same day. Forget the other Greenhouse cafes which are more commercial, the original one is worth tramming it to (10/15 mins) and has the superior products.
  21. Because our lives failed to be enriched by watching it, I wouldn't worry about it. Batshit crazy stuff goes down all the time over there. Horrible country.
  22. The problem with Owen Coyle was so apparent from the early days, or early doors as football men like to say that I'm amazed he ever got took on in the first place. He never stayed anywhere very long either, neither in his playing days nor in management. Any manager in his interviews who repeats his bland, standard rhetoric and continually kisses the arse of other managers quite evidently isn't very good at his job. He's a charlatan weegie with zero talent and no redeeming features.
  23. Great Imagine documentary on BBC1 just now about the wonderful Nawal El Saadawi. Here's one for the politically correct and the establishment arselickers. Muslim men are shit. You really can't argue with that.
  24. My newest enthusiasm is cheese, or more specifically, cheese-eating accompaniments. To narrow it down properly, I'm talking about knackebrot. You want more detail? Ok already, sourdough crisp bread. From Peter's Yard, the original model. The brits are so stupid, they think Jacobs cream crackers hit the spot. I'm qualified to know. I was one of them for decades. I never ate much cheese and never more than the equivalent of a packet of cream crackers every 3 or 4 years because the cracker never inspired me and neither did it's staple, cheese. Now, with 2 or 3 weeks experience, I'm wondering how any cunt can ever eat cheese with oatcakes or JC crackers ever again! They're fucking shite, tasteless garbage to fill the ever-gaping and ever-increasing carb hole. The thinner water biscuit variety grabbed my attention for a tiny period but get yersel into sourdough crisp bread you cunts. It's fucking awesome.
  25. George Soros and Dick Cheney are the biggest enemies to all our lives. Trump knows about the deep state and their taste for paedophilia. Mike Pence's best friend was recently named as a paedo and this alone cost Flynn his job. We live in interesting times. The war is inside the US government and shit's about to get real. Next 90 days will make or break.
