Suspense and intrigue are valuable tools in film-making! For me, after six series and god knows how many episodes - and I've seen them all at least twice and possibly three times - I agree that I was also wondering if T was away to get whacked. Mainly due to the fact I knew it was the last episode more than anything else. That's good film-making, us all pouring over a simple family situation and wondering what brutality was going to occur. But on reflection I thought it was a great ending. Most of us can enjoy a family outing and know that gunmen aren't going to burst in and blow our brains out.
