Two things; Firstly, it is foolish to judge a person's next comments by what she has said previously, particularly when she is clearly of above average intelligence and has the admirable quality of speaking out, where the vast majority are afraid to. Secondly, this reminds me of Crocodiles not Waterlillies, a tremendous training/management/change thing that I was fortunate to attend 25 years ago. One of the most memorable aspects was the "95% principle". This says "find out what 95% of the people do and think, then do and think the complete opposite". Just because it's "fashionable" to despise Katie Hopkins, that means there's obviously some merit to be had by listening to her. She's way off the mark with much that she says and whilst we can blame her relative youth and inexperience, remember that she is always maximising shock value, not a bad strategy in itself for getting attention and blasting sheeple out of their slumbering non-thinking existence. Engaging maximum shock tactics will inevitably spill into exaggerated, and sometimes distorted presentations of the truth but having the sense to recognise this isn't common. She was spot on in that article however.

Considine in to the top 20 appearances
rocket_scientist replied to Stewart's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
I agree he's ace. Cos he tries his best ALL the time. Unlike too many. Unfortunately his best isn't good enough for a title winning team. Correction: He hasn't been good enough to play regularly in a team that could win the league. But he's a good enough squad player for a team with aspirations to win it. He was developing great with Anderson beside him. I was fully expecting him to be an excellent centre half by now. I think it's a shame that he's never really been given the opportunity to play a dozen consecutive games in that position. We've not done a very good job with his development but on the other hand, he's hardly been breaking the door down so I guess we will never know how good he could've been. Probably only 8% more than we have seen currently but the one thing he is not and never will be is a Left Back. -
Pittodrie Layout Consultation
rocket_scientist replied to manc_don's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
Ok. Have we all forgotten Milne's agenda? Does 20 years ago mean we give him a pass? Has this cunt of a cat, not fit to be a leopard, changed his plooks? Are any of you "newspaper" readers qualified to see what's going on? Fucking retards. We got the club we deserved. -
Pittodrie Layout Consultation
rocket_scientist replied to manc_don's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
Has Milne given up on stadium relocation? It was only he who wanted it. He was agitating for a new stadium before he became chairman. He proposed a location in Kingswells, clearly a geographically-ridiculous suggestion. The fact it was to land that he would have personally profited from was disgusting. -
Pawlett is not of sufficient quality for a title winning team. It therefore depends on the club's ambition as to whether he is punted or not.

Digitally penetrated? Never heard that term. I was thinking it was something to do with social media, Facebook or whatever, a subject I know nothing of. You mean he fingered her? I didn't know that. If so, different ballpark and I agree, custodial sentence. But not 5 to 10. How "innocent" is the girl, I wonder? There has to be strict liability and the rule has been 16 for ever but with so many being sexually active so young, do the defence submissions include getting a private eye to dig up her history with boys? Was she thwarted by the footballer and took revenge on him? Why was she filming them in his Range Rover? Was she planning to set him up for this? Why did they not have sex? Did he wise up or was it her who pulled the plug? The real situation can be determined from the text exchanges. Strict liability doesn't alter the fact he's guilty of inappropriate conduct but the punishment should surely be influenced by the facts. And why do government ministers, celebrities and priests who do much worse and bugger infants get nothing when the fingering of a 15 year old who may or may not be experienced warrants 5 to 10? I'm not defending Johnson. He's a sick fuck. But the law needs to be consistent.
-
McGinn doesn't want to win the league, to beat his beloved sellic. Nobody can believe a professional footballer can be this unprofessional. I don't trust the cunt. Too many not-trying performances over too long a time. Talented footballer but a total charlatan loser character.
-
Adam Johnson facing 5 to 10 years? For a kiss? Yes he knew she was 15 and yes he would have fucked her if she wanted it and so he was wrong, very wrong but he didn't actually do anything. Wanting to isn't punishable by prison surely? Grooming and setting up the opportunity is one thing and yes, that deserves criminal culpability and punishment but not jail when for whatever reason no sexual activity happens. This is a world gone nuts. Ministers and celebrities and priests fuck and rape kids and everyone turns a blind eye. A footballer is courted by a love struck girl, checks out the opportunity like the fucking creep that he is, doesn't force himself on her and gets time? I don't think that's right nor fair.

Bayern 78.2% possession and beaten at home v. Mainz. Crazy game.

Well Al, I've become more optimistic as the days gone on. Some of the comments here are right. DUFC are under much more pressure and they did indeed produce one of the worst performances we've seen at Pittodrie for a while in the last game. We weren't good that day - Jack was very poor - but at least we had the cracker from Hayes to brighten it up. We will obviously miss Hayes and Rooney but it's up to PP and old legs Robson to prove themselves. If they're capable. And the jury's almost unanimous on these two as more and more months go by. 1-1 draw now my best case scenario although Taylor and Considine? Could easy be 3-1 them.
-
Ach. You quoted me too quick. Taylor in. No Reynolds.
-
9/11: - ------------------Brown------------------- Logan---Taylor---Considine---Shinnie -------------Jack-------Robson--------- ----McGinn------McLean-----Pawlett---- -----------------Church-----------
-
A difference of opinion isn't negativity. You can't both be right with your 3-1's. It might be the case that it's your optimism that is misplaced. Whilst the bookies agree with you as a most likely outcome, Aberdeen are still odds against. Personally I think 13/5 for DUFC is outstanding value. Interesting that Paddy Power give the shortest odds on AFC and the longest on DUFC. Not that I've bet for a very long time but I know football and I know form. Just can't see the rationale for anyone being too optimistic about tonight. If I didn't have to drive to Dundee tomorrow and then up the road and then through Dundee again on Friday, I would have gone tonight but couldn't be arsed going up and down three consecutive days, particularly to witness a rather predictable performance. Would love to be wrong but I just can't see it. We're not a very good team and our squad has been exposed as not having enough depth, exactly as most of us have been saying ALL season. 2-0 United. That's not being negative. It's just a realistic prediction that I hope is wrong.
-
There were absolutely no positives to be taken from that abortion of a performance. Results are all that matters anyway. Which is so obvious it shouldn't need to be said.

Those two Whelan goals were class, the second coming off his shin. We haven't had a footballer at AFC that good this century. Which is why he was at Liverpool and our journeymen get paid shit, is the easy answer. But where are the footballers like Archibald, Black, Strachan, Miller, Jess, Booth, Windass etc. etc., players with genuine talent and/or genuine heart? In fact, who was the last decent footballer we employed? I've not seen a super talent at AFC since Nicholas and Bett. Although I might have forgotten cos it's been too long. Pure misfortune of fate or declining standards or lack of ambition?
-
Kjaer was a good keeper. That's true. Not nearly in the same class as the two I mentioned. Doubt he ever won fuck all in his career? I'm wanting winners. This is a great Question Time isn't it? Julia is being superb. Truss is sick and Abbott is thick. Vote Leave people. I've got no chance if Brexit doesn't happen. You want a good keeper, don't you?
-
Al, it's not a "crisis" for this reason. We've never had a good keeper this century. It's been so long since we have a competent technician between the sticks, the reasons for this would be interesting. On this occasion, I'll give AFC some slack although the continued employment of Langfield was unforgivable. The standard of goalkeeping this century v. last is considerably worse, not just in Scotland. Some might point to education, declining standards and the known correlation between intellect and reaction times. Some might point to the ruling classes, the neocon governments for their deliberate sabotaging of education. Some might point to the food chain, the rise in obesity, the alarming decline in testosterone, the increased frequencies of cancers etc. now being related to chemical ingestion by farm stock as our breeding a lesser species of human being. This of course is also a direct consequence of government engineering. For me though, slipping standards of goalkeeping is just directly proportional to the reducing quality of people generally. Therefore the solution is simple. Change the political climate, end the institutionalised corruption, execute the Blairs and Camerons et al and give all the power to me. If you want another Bobby Clark or Jim Leighton, you have to vote for me for world president. Excluding Morocco. I don't want to rule those Arab cunts. And fuck the Belgian chocolates. Boring bastards.

The world according to TRUTH, not western lies

Stuart Syvret (@StuartSyvret) tweeted at 11:17 pm on Tue, Feb 23, 2016: Why would a £23 million child-abuse "public-inquiry" decide it wouldn't spend £5 on legal funding for this witness https://t.co/OPrhxMwkMu ? ( ) Get the official Twitter app at https://twitter.com/download?s=13 Sent from my Sony Xperia™ smartphone I got sent that just now. One of the best articles I've read. It took me decades to learn how the world operates and how people are. Maybe it's experience-accumulation and we need to do the time to see the crime. Perhaps there is no fast track to learning. The problem I see today is the young not having the capacity to learn. I'm not really interested in analysing the levels of intellectual retardation (and it's certainly regressed over the last fifty years), the reasons for this, the lack of humility etc. but from one fellow traveller to another, read that and understand this: - Almost EVERYTHING the governments of western "democracies" tell us and what gets reported in the presstitute media is a lie, designed to keep the real power brokers in charge and to keep us ignorant. This doesn't sadden me. I know that karma exists. I just hope I live long enough to see the collapse and I've always had an instinct that something seismic is going to happen in my lifetime. -
It has been an embarrassment for a very long time. When the chairman took over three decades back, we might have expected a locally-based property developer to be uniquely positioned to fix this glaring gap in our infrastructure. The fact that he hasn't offers more proof that "the football side of the business" (as he called it) isn't his main priority.

It's business you don't understand. McDonalds don't give chips with burgers. Nobody does. Why would they? If you don't think it's value, you don't go. Simple. The chips were very reasonably priced and a choice of fries. The normal ones were excellent. The coleslaw extra was expensive at £2.95 but I didn't grudge paying it. Between two, that and the onion rings was perfect. The cans of Byron beer was expensive too at £4.95 but an iced glass and a nice overall experience, I thought it was great. In fact, I've never had a better burger meal experience.

I know nothing of Jobs and regret missing the film. All I know is that Apple make outstanding products. But I read somewhere that he was the son of a Syrian migrant. So if Trump had his way, one of Ametica's biggest companies may not have been.

Yeah you said 7/10 and I said it had to be 8+ to tempt me. But another good mate was raving about Leo and said he was bound to get the Oscar so what the hell. Agree with you that the scenery was stunning and agree it was a bizarre film. Don't agree with the sentiments that he'll finally get an Oscar for this. Yes he's got beautiful eyes and boy did they focus on that, every single lighting shot designed to show it but since when was acting ability about God-given? Fucking terrible film. Vacuous and pointless. Nothing happened. Plotless.

Not a huge fan of chains but if you like a burger, Byron or Byrons in Union Square was superb. First visit. Won't be my last. Unlike the Homemade Burger Co. next door. Only went once.

Went to The Revenant tonight. Regretted it.
