  1. Why did you pay wages to Calvin Zola? Don't you think it's a better strategy to watch players first before giving them money?
  2. Having seen the excellent film Spotlight last night, there is an obvious parallel here. There were people who knew it was going on - that multiple priests were sexually abusing kids - and who stood by and let it continue. Lawyers made money out of the confidentiality agreements and took a third of the "compo" hush money. Business people and the head of the Boston Globe had vested personal interests in not rocking the boat and keeping the cardinal onside. Today, every single investigative journalist and every single economist with half a brain will know that the US government machine are lying not just to its own people but to the world. It is financially bankrupt, as well as morally and spiritually. Their reports of "the new economy", their lies about the true pictures of stagflation and unemployment, their mad money-printing "quantitative easing" etc. etc. has made their situation untenable. And yet the presstitute media fail to report it. They have personal vested interests. The governments and the priests are criminals. The vested interests equally so. Blair, Brown, Cameron, Osbourne and Murdoch are amongst the biggest profile criminals today... of many thousands.
  3. Saw Spotlight tonight. Very good. Makes you appreciate that the fucks who failed to act on kiddie-fiddling priests are equally culpable. Systemic abuse and based on facts, the biggest fact being that the Vatican knew and have always known. Religion is for shitheads.
  4. Hmrf. Still bad but not as bad. Parents' crime reduced by 39%.
  5. Thank you. I find your inquiry into my wellbeing very touching. I'm honoured... but not honoured enough to bother about your wellbeing or any other cunts quite frankly. Dismal dismal Dons. Bastards. McInnes is shallow and McGinn is a soft tim-loving piece of shit. Oh aye and did I mention Ashley Taylor? I presume that's his first name. What sort of fucking parents call their son that? Fucking idiots.
  6. Now that I've calmed down and sobered up, the cold light of day reveals these truths to me: - 1. AFC were never strong enough to win the league. 2. We will be lucky to finish within 10 points of a pathetic Celtic. 3. Milne karma will never be reversed. 4. Scottish football is really shite. 5. That referee is so bad, it's laughable and yet he's officiating at the Euros? The game's a bogey. I fucking hate what's happened to our club.
  7. i got to be honest. i always am. But on the Reynolds question, I've bit my tongue. One of my clients and a good mate is best mates with Reynolds. I was so chuffed that his first season here was so good. But he was dodgy as fuck last year and he's done fuck all convincing since he came back from injury. Fuck that steel town cunt. He's been fucking shite. Cunt.
  8. Life is wonderful isn't it? Two people can see the same incident and totally disagree. What's that about? One can't see very well or the other is a fucking retard? What? Ahhh, the diversity of opinion, the inequality of vision. Fuck that shite. Taylor was spasticus. End of.
  9. Just back from the pub and not read ony o yer shite so I'll just tell you how it is. What a predictably gutless performance. Cruising after a fantastic Storie set-up and Rooney finish, then it all caved in. How rich that the man who always threatened to be a major liability finally fulfilled his potential tonight. The first was worse than schoolboy and even though there was no contact and it was never a penalty, when you're already seven foot three, you don't want to be lifting your leg that high like a fucking stupid cunt to give any possibility of a penalty. What a fucking penis. We always knew you had calamity within you. By fuck you delivered tonight, for all three of theirs. I reckon your first half hat trick that never was v. Ross County that Friday night last month was the sign. You're fucking haunted min. Fuck off from our club forever you useless cunt.
  10. You are absolutely correct. My bad. Totally forgot about him. Probably because he turned into a bitter arse.
  11. So much for the homesick line and the missing his baby stuff then. He's a winner, one of our best players. He and Shinnie are the best full backs we've had since Robertson. Logan is our best right back for even longer, for a period spanning three decades, possibly four. So it's understandable he wouldn't commit his future. He saw and played in that horrible spell of continuous defeats, getting beat by shit football clubs, a spell that may arguably or will inevitably have cost us the chance of winning the league in May. I don't blame any ambitious professional coming into his prime for not committing to that shite. Would still like to know what went wrong though. Or at least one day, I'd like to be assured that the manager knew.
  12. Aye the yids dun good. Got back in time to see the second half. Gutted for Leicester but it's a cracking table now.
  13. No, wasn't drunk. We ate well and bedded early, especially including the hour forward so woke up in the middle of the night and with nothing specific to do, was able to indulge an already robust imagination. Caught 3 hours back after breakfast. Lovely chill time. Watching the egg chasing the noo and drinking champagne before dinner. It was too windy to execute the plan today. Like blaanahoolie. Plus I dinna think anyone turned up although we were at Le Florida at 14.45 actually, having been to the shittest Modern Art Museum immediately before, it's only salvation being the huge Picasso - La depouille du Minotaure en costume d'Arlequin. Had my first ever Long Island Ice Tea today at Le Florida. If I'd had a second and a third, I'd have keeled over. Powerful alcohol injection on top of volatile sleep pattern. Loved it. Remember, art can be thinking about it, not just performing it
  14. It's a long shot but if any of you are in Toulouse this afternoon, I've got a plan. You know how many great cities in Europe have great squares, places that feel communal, that are communal, that inspire the feeling of togetherness - the likes of which is beyond the imagination and outwith the corrupt self-interest of Eberdeen coonsillors with their incredible lack of foresight over UTG and Marischal College - well Capitole in this city is begging to be filled by some spontaneous humanity. I'll enter the square from the NE and I'll stop and bellow STAND FREE. I'll dwell on the STAND for about 3 or 4 seconds, and Mannie no. 2 in the NW of the square joins in with WE ARE THE FAMOUS before Mannie 3 in the SW of the square comes in with ABERDEEN. Mannie 4 in the SE gives it WE DON'T GIVE A FUCK before all four of us complete the song, whilst continuing to walk in an anti-clockwise direction. If anyone has an apartment overlooking the square, please volunteer your services and your location. That could work brilliantly. We should get smart and dovetail superbly. WE ARE THE FA MOUS A BER DEEN can be sung by all four of us, two syllables a piece. It will appear that we've taken over but spontaneity rather than pre-planned will be the impression. After this introductory outburst, we will similarly rotate round the square, 80 to 100 yards from each other with We hate Rangers and we hate Rangers, Who's that lying at Pittodrie etc. and for a finale, Francois Hollande, fucking penis, one word each, surrounding the square before all four of us together repeating this utterance of truth. To avoid any chance of getting hassle from the pigs, we'll give it some Cameron, Merkel, Blair and others e.g. BA RACK O BAM A - he's a bam, he's a bam. Whole thing will be done and dusted in 150 seconds. Meet at 2.45 at Le Florida for a libation, start at 3.08? Only cunts with big lungs invited. And dress street but dress class. Ten-c and Moncler OK and definitely NOT Stone Island. Big presence men required. Edit: work on a Donald fa's yer troosers ditty re Trump. These frogs winna ken fit the fuck's gaan on. By the time they twig, we're gone.
  15. I'm also not as fearful of Trump than the mainstream. In fact, if the political establishment, the media presstitutes and the industrial war complex is fearful of Trump, I'm all for him. He's a mad horrible bastard but ironically he's the only chance that not just America but the world has for prosperity and stability. Putin could get on with him and surely Trump can see through the engineered propaganda and attempt to reverse the disastrous world hegemony project that the neocon west is pursuing. Attempt being the operative word. JFK was a danger to the industrial war machine and they assassinated him so Trump would meet an unfortunate accident if he ever got office.
  16. I dunno about him as a pundit but there were rumours he may have been a paederast. Probably a load of shite but that's what was rumoured back in the day.
  17. The most farcical draw was followed by the most farcical attempted explanation. Inducing fire alarms as an example of the unexpected was tragically comical.
  18. We watched it live in the pub. You can't make it up. How incompetent are the fuds running Scottish football? They're not even Scottish. They're fuds by international standards, not just English standards. Embarrassing if it wasn't expected shit karma.
  19. Well that resolution didn't last long. I just started Mo said she was quirky. Coincidentally on the day of my first visit to The Quirky Coo. But this is a thread about books. I am loathed to take it to France with me this week. Kelman is, and his characters are just so fucking tragic.
  20. Superb. LvG denied 3 pts by Deegs Costa. Nearly denied 1 point by Costa there. Good stop De Gea.
  21. Stunning goal by Lingard. Man U deserve to be leading.
  22. Valencia beaten by Real Betis now, who draw level on points. This has got relegation written all over it. Neville not won a league game yet and not looking capable of doing so.
  23. Ward never let in a goal as bad as Mignolet did today the first v. Sunderland. Matter of time before he gets his chance. Not that some supposedly knowledgeable Aberdeen fans know what day of the week it is.
  24. Well well. Some ambition shown to win a game deservedly rewarded with 3 pts. I said that 10 of the 11 starters were "in stone" but I would never have guessed that he would have gone 4-4-2 and put Church on. I thought he would have gone for Consi, I was wondering Flood but Derek was more ambitious than that. Totally against the run of play, Hayes scored a belter. Craig Gordon was slow to react but nothing detracts from the quality of the strike. When Church followed up with a second, it was dreamland. Celtic were very poor but still managed to dominate possession in the first half. They were very poor in the final third though and Brown didn't have any tough saves to make. What was most telling about the "champions-elect" was how mentally weak they were. Having been delivered a body blow and being on the wrong end of a flattering scoreline, they didn't fight hard enough nor believed they could wrestle back something out of the game. Tremendous individual performances right throughout our team. Only downside for me was McGinn but we expect him to be shite against them as he always is. Church reminded us what good strong CF's should be in terms of holding position. Made Rooney look ordinary even though Rooney's excellent goals record this season-to-date is far from ordinary. Shinnie immense. Logan made some crucial stops. Too many positives to mention. Loved it.
  25. I think we are at least one player short of picking a competent team. With the injury to Jack - and I'm not his biggest fan but he at least can play - Storie stays in for him (rightly in my view) but we have more cover in defence and very few options in midfield and up front. Logan, Taylor, Reynolds and Shinnie should pick itself but my fear - in fact he probably thinks he has no other option - is that he will make room for Considine and to do so, moves Shinnie out of LB. He wil go Brown Logan Taylor Reynolds Considine McGinn Maclean Storie Shinnie Hayes Rooney I would bench Consi and play Flood, who isn't good enough for a consistently winning team. Sure he can put in a great shift but they're getting fewer and fewer. His legs are over the hill. The only other option is the Roda Aussie instead of Flood but I think 10 of the 11 should be in stone. Our bench is very weak whatever he does.
