I'm confused. First you say it's a stupid question. Now it's not so stupid. Make up your mind. Or maybe show your mind? What were you thinking? When rivers all over the UK were flooding lands, what did you think when you asked about "weather like this" and a potential stadium next to a tiny loch? What cause and effect were you anticipating? Rain. Falls from the sky. Lands on land, in rivers, in lochs, on buildings. It's not too difficult to understand the differences between running water and still. Nor too big a stretch of imagination to see that rain running off mountains and hills gathers into rivers.

Below the belt. Referee intervention. He doesn't go to games so can't offer eyewitness testimony. This doesn't excuse his misleading 13 games stat, a bizarre attempt to justify his opinion, a complete non-opinion if he's not even seen the very few minutes that he's been on the pitch this season.
-
You were the one that said stupid question. I just agreed with you WR. When and how do lochs break their banks? At the time you asked, the Dee was flooding the PLGC, Inverdee and large parts of Deeside. As manc said, flood risk assessments are standard procedure in civil engineering projects. A loch well above sea level is hardly the same as a river that goes into the sea.

To have different opinions is fine. To have different interpretations of facts, very silly. Everyone agrees that Pawlett hasn't made positive contributions to this season. That was the only bit up for debate. This has to be mitigated by the very few minutes he's actually had on the pitch. Personally I don't see any room for Pawlett in the starting XI. With Hayes and McGinn not suffering injuries and being superior contributors, it would be madness to change the formation to try and make room for PP.

Not read that one yet but I will. Got Sirens of Titan to read next. Vonnegut is easy to read and joyous to read. Silly not to. Slaughterhouse Five is his most famous work, an epic but I've enjoyed most of his stuff.

If we have any ambition whatsoever, we would be spending big and signing quality. Our balance sheet is MILLIONS better off thanks to Mr & Mrs Wm Donald. This is the time to invest and a concrete benchmark of what Milne really wants from AFC plc.

Reading Timequake just now by the incomparable Kurt Vonnegut. Been a long time since I read him. Having done about half his novels, I'm probably going to do the other half now. His is a brilliant mind.

Imagine those foolish nothings telling EK it would be played at a venue and they hadn't even contacted the host club? You can't make up these levels of incompetence. It's incredible.
-
I want us to sign Blair Spittal.

Aguero clear MOTM for me. He's so good. Works so hard.
-
As the commentator said - Aguero got them out of jail. So unlucky WHU.
-
I hope not too and the way it's going, it's looking better and better. West Ham are excellent and Citeh can't create anything. Raheem on now and he can be kwolity but it's just not happening for them yet.
-
Scripted for a Ya Ya equaliser. Since he's done nothing so far.
-
Brilliant. 2-1. One of my mates is season ticket at WHam. Want them to do it. I wondered after that last defeat - which was poor - and with Carroll out that their bubble might have burst but no, they're duracell. Slavan Bilic = good manager.
-
Also watching WHU v Citeh. Nicely poised. Interesting game. I do expect the quality of some of these Man C players to tell. Payet scored an unbelievable free kick last week or the week before. He is some talent.

More proof at how shite the standard is in Scottish football will be delivered this afternoon when Celtic thrash St J. The vast majority of professional teams in this country are awful.

Lemmy the movie right now. BBC 4.

Yes the pitch was skittery, very wet underfoot and prone to defensive slip ups. You were right about Scott Bain by the way bb, a very good keeper. He made three great saves to prevent an Ash Taylor first half hat-trick, unbelievably! Of course we let him go, when that weegie tink Leighton was stealing a wage and ensuring Clangfud stayed between the sticks.

His first half block for an almost certain goal was of a bravery we rarely see. For that alone, he deserves big respect. Did any of the TV pundits spot the horrendous ref mistake just after we scored? Hayes got clipped hard when he was just away to burst through and it was McGowan who did it. He knew full well what he was doing. Incredibly, the big fucking carthorse Holt goes towards the ref and takes the booking whilst I'm screaming "No. 18, it was no. 18 you fucking arse". We figured that McGowan must get booked a lot and right enough, just before he end of the first half, he gets booked. Good competent display tonight but one stand out negative was Goodwillie. What a disgraceful performance. When Cammy came on it was chalk and cheese. What a fantastic desire that young kid has, the total opposite of that lazy alleged-rapist useless bastard. Scott Brown was faultless once again and is instilling confidence all round. I thought it was defensively very solid and Dundee never really got a realistic sniff. Shinnie was an excellent captain leading by example but all over the pitch, they were showing good attitude, DGW excepted. McGinn was quiet by his potentially high standards but it wasn't for reason that he was hiding, it was just one of those nights for him.
-
Valencia still haven't won a league game under him, I'm pretty sure but not 100% certain. With failing to beat Las Palmas at home in the cup tonight, getting beat in the next game may spell the end of this charade, this experiment that was predictably catastrophic. He may not even last to the summer, the end of his short abortion of a contract.

Pretty sure that game in Lapland conditions was his debut and it was a very good debut. The only stand out in an otherwise shite and forgettable game... apart form the cold. I think it's waterproof trousers the morn as well as the base layer!
-
Pretty sure he can speak for himself but that would be a very foolish thing to attribute to him.
-
Doh, yes, Josh Walker. He was about 20 on loan from Boro I think. Played and scored v. Bayern that year. See? Telt ye it was freezing. Even forgot the cunt's name.
-
It won't be as cold as the January cup tie v. Hamilton 8 or 9 years ago. Because that's not possible. All I remember from that game is how utterly freezing it was and that only 6,500 of us turned up. Oh aye, and that Josh Parker played and played well in a 1-0 win or perhaps 0-0, pretty shite anyway.
