Having got English at 390 on betfair, I took another couple of punts with Thornjorn Olesen and James Morrison. Also stuck a couple of squid on Eliot Saltman at 1000. He was out-driving and out-playing Ogilvy and Adam Scott in practise. The Tuesday and Wednesday are like hitting a punchbag whereas Thursday and Friday, this course will punch back.

Another reason I think that Harris is going to have a good week is because between greens and tees, he never refused an autograph. Most of the kids, and many adults surprisingly, who held out their programmes and 18th hole flags may never have heard of him and didn't know who this 8 foot giant was but he signed them all. At 16, one of his playing partners teed off whilst him and Bill Haas were still signing, 5 and 10 yards in front of him. The yan of his generosity was his clutterability. On every shot, English had FIVE of his people with him. Standing with him were his caddy and four others. One might have been Stockton, a putting coach although I couldn't be sure, and one of the other three would presumably have been his coach. One of the others may have been a shrink but why, in an individual sport, would any cunt want or need as many as that? Fucking ridickleeous if you ask me. Mark Roe was prominent on the putting and chipping greens. His ever-present coffee in hand may have been the attempt of projecting a laid-back personality, and in contrast with his choice of clothes which screamed "look at me". Some achievement though, to find golf apparel in shades of plum and yellow that no-one else was wearing. Coaches who feel that they know it all, who know better than a top golfer should remember that they failed and whilst some have developed specialist knowledge that is transferable to others, it's the others we've come to see, not them. Interesting week.

Correct. Last 15 majors won by first timers. Just heard that on talksport when driving. 16 in a row I hope. Watched Harris English for a few holes today. Hit it so far down 14 he was flicking in a three quarter wedge. 300/1. Forget Stricker, Bubba and Adam Scott from what I seen.
-
Like Harris English you mean? He's MASSIVE off the tee and if he avoids the very many fairway bunkers, has a HUGE advantage. 300/1 is a steal. Go E/W for 75/1 return.

This year is my first attending one in England. My first was 1977 at Turnberry and have been to heaps since. Going down to Lytham Monday through Saturday and really looking forward to it, on the greatest and toughest golf course I've ever played. I'm really enjoying the Scottish Open on the telly but having been at Le Golf National last week and away all next week, didn't go up to Castle Stuart. Some of the golfers were saying that this week is good preparation for next week. Bollocks. Other than tight lies, they are chalk and cheese. Lytham asks all its questions from the tees. It is the most relentlessly demanding driving course on the planet. Paris was an excellent driving course too but Castle Stuart has fairways wider than the brick facade at Ibrox and at this level on this particular track, it's nothing to do with driving. One golfer hit 27 of 28 fairways and missed the cut. Noren, joint leader was 124th in the field for Driving Accuracy after 2 Rds. The Open is my favourite sporting event on the planet and this year could be really special, I reckon. Memories of the greatest, Seve will be strong of course but who's your money on next week? I'm going for Louis Oosthuizen (50/1) and Harris English (300/1). Lawrie at 66's isn't good value at all in my opinion but Donald at 18/1 and Westwood at 16's is even worse. Donald's driving won't be strong enough round Lytham (length and accuracy) and the golfing gods ain't giving Westwood a major until he learns to putt properly. Put your selections here for next week. This week at the Scottish is anybody's although Francesco was hugely impressive on the range last week with a swing that nothing much can go wrong with. Now that he has learned to putt, he's a threat anywhere any time.

We got to our hotel in Hardelot Plage just in time to see Murray leading and playing the second set. Unbelievably, I ended up watching most of that shite. Murray's girlfriend. Hmmm... Murray's mother. Hmmm... Murray. A man who loves a playstation more than sex. Hmmm... The dog died.

The boy wiz ace. I mind his testimonial. Never seen so much flash bulbs as when Beckham had the ball on the right wing on the Main Stand side attacking the Merkland. Beckham was an impressive athlete then, a hugely strong runner. Teddy Scott RIP. A great man, who's greatness was mainly down to his straightforwardness. A no bullshit gentleman dandie.

Milne now says that these boardroom changes should have happened years ago. That's what we've been saying for years, Stewrat. Miller now saying he doesn't know why he's been binned. How pathetic are you, Willie? Just fuck off quietly. Your legacy has already been tarnished beyond repair.
-
Any time that Miller gets the boot is a positive.

Ach, beat me to it bb. I was going to start a thread specifically for Rangers fans, a bunch of posts directed at them, explaining our decision to vote against the newco getting SPL status. They certainly do need an explanation. The arrogant pigs I've spoken to in recent weeks all seem to assume that we want them back and that "Scottish Football needs RFC" and that we can't afford not to include them. Whilst I'm sure there would have been many articulate posts concerning the integrity of sport etc, mine would have read... Dear RFC. We're voting against you because we don't like you. Scum.

Winna be happy till they demolish Ibrox red brick by red brick, and sell them to the minks who want to buy them. HMRC may well make a £400m profit if they charge a £15 a brick or something. The maths would need to be done and the bricks counted but for the taxpayer to get out this in credit would be sweet. We could then present Sir David Murray with a platinum crutch as a thank you. Just the one, mind. Lets not ging feel here.

Gleneagles is shite, the hotel, the squeaky beds, the over-priced whisky, the courses and the service. Nice lawns though.

Nothing is ever painfully obvious to a young man who likes Coldplay, is teetotal, backs Henman and can't afford his own flat.
-
I'm Scottish and I want him to fail. Not desperate, just want. He's a morose boring fuck of a man who plays computer games. And his mummy is a sex starved freak.

The original Evil Dead on Syfy HD. Right now. Funniest movie ever.

On an aside, Gail / Gayle Sheridan is a disgusting human being. Tommy doesn't know this but I do.

And only fannies beg for employment using the media known as the Sun!!!

My medication is constant and unwavering. Positivity, integrity and clarity. I sell it in bottles to people whom it doesn't affect. Nothing to do with the dirt-cheap placebo-esque nature of my ingredients. They're so stupid to appreciate the power of the mind.
-
Agreed. My excuse was that I was down the pub. Actually, allow me to re-phrase you. Only fannies buy the Sun.

Ell eye vee, eee are pee, double o ell, Liverpool FC. They had their success many decades ago. That's their fill. Disgusting city full of horrible work-shy minks. Employing Dalglish was laffably predictable. They deserve what's coming, a massive decline into the nether regions of football nothingness. We, on the other hand, declined into football nothingness without just cause. Our fans are North east and therefore high on integrity. Hud on. We got hijacked by a cunt who wore wigs. AFC deserves what it gets. We failed to deal with the cancerous wee cunt.
-
Begging for employment again. So absurd. So sad. The man got found out. Everyone knows it but him. I despise the thick and the corrupt. He's both.

Contrary to popular belief, the car that we drive is more a reflection of our status in society and is proportional to the size of our HL&S wallets rather than our penises. The size of car we drive does not statistically relate to penis length or girth whilst penis-envy does raise its head in automotive comparisons.

Rangers, Their Debt & The Socio Model

Not offended. Just impossible to begin a debate when the OP is so utterly devoid of substance. Inarticulate thick shite like this should be deleted in basic fundamental quality control. -

Dunno if this is a desperate attempt to stimulate debate, any activity, but it sounds like shite to me. What a fucking waste of time reading that lot of ill-thought out garbage. -
The biggest suburb in western Europe? Am I fuck. The BoD is full of horrible cunts. Even if they argue it's not their fault as they got brought up there cos of their parents, that doesn't wash. Any offspring of any saddo choosing to live there should be drowned or shot too. A 70,000 strong Dachau or Belsen is the final solution there.
