Do you actually agree with those two above or are you deliberately disagreeing with me? Genuine question. Some things are worthy of debate but some things are too obvious that we can just agree and move on. Much as presidents and chairpeople of football clubs can make monumental fuck ups, (one of) the biggest clubs in the world isn't going to make that much of a fuck up as to employ Benitez. As a young manager, he was dynamic and he inspired people. As a middle aged manager, he became fat, both in person and of mind. He's a fucking dead duck with a grossly exaggerated opinion of himself. He's the spanish Calderwood, dead wood with the glory days well gone. Then again, the majority on here couldn't even see the limitations of Calderwood, the same qualities that got him zero gigs at clubs bigger than AFC, as predicted. Yet Willie Miller granted him a needless 3 year contract extension and none of you complained or even thought it was wrong.

Well you seemed determined enough to enter a dispute that wasn't yours... again, so let's see it through, shall we? You reckon he's a good manager? You reckon he's well enough regarded that he may end up at Real Madrid? Is your interpretation of him being successful at Liverpool shared by those who are qualified to comment? Your sarcastic causticism suggested you had something to say? Or maybe you weren't being sarcastic at all?
-
You saying he succeeded at Liverpool? You saying he's not a shite manager? You saying he'll be at Real?
-
Benitez is an unemployed shite manager, been unemployed for over a year, yet you would NOT be surprised if he ends up at the biggest club in the world? Or at least, if pedantry is your poison, one of the biggest in the world. They definitely had the biggest turnover at least once in the last 3 years. What do you know that we don't? Or is your knowledge of football, humankind and the qualities and abilities required for successful management so flawed that you don't actually know that he's a shite manager?
-
Your sole contribution on the thread was to say how clever you are, ably backed up by another spoon? If you are as clever as your imagination would have - either of you - then what specifically are the percentages of?
-
It's bollocks. 48% of the pot is divided equally and of the remaining 52%, how on earth did the other ten clubs agree to almost half (24%) going to the top 2, and the remaining scrapping for half per cent increments all the way down to a negligible 0.5%? The reason why the OF are ahead is BECAUSE they were already bigger and richer, with bigger stadia, bigger fanbases, bigger commercial opportunities, bigger revenues etc. To then hand them a MUCH bigger slice of the pie is anti-competition. They could argue that they're not guaranteed to finish 1st and 2nd but they're always more likely to in the first place given their vastly superior income and spending power, let alone adding to the gulf by giving them more. What the fuck is this SPL income anyway? Are we talking SPL prize money? The TV income? What? Whatever the source, I can't understand the gutlessness of the other 10 chairmen, including ours. Ridickleeuss.

The visual aspect, both colour and presentation, has a bigger effect on the dining experience. Those who are put off oysters or lambs liver or grilled crickets by texture alone are sacrificing the primary consideration for secondary ones. I had moneky's brains once. It was presented in this wee criss cross pastry job. It was fucking shite. It looked grey, unappealing and slithery. It was indeed slithery but I hated it because it tasted disgusting. The fact that it didn't look too appetising did not affect my taste experience. The texture didn't matter by the time it slipped down the back of my throat. It's magic when you get a good surprise and superb taste comes from something visually odd or undefinable. Sucking the fat and gristle off chickens feet in Chinatown in Melbourne wasn't visually appealing but by fuck it tasted fine.

No. 13 Pinto for Barca should be punto. What a fucking liability, both games now.
-
Dani Alves scores with one of the best struck shots in history. 2 late goals at end of the first half to send the cheating Madristas home the tink again.
-
Texture is a state of mind. Taste is the main criteria for eating. We had oysters yesterday in Cafe Royal, Edinburgh to start a wonderfully decadent 3.5 hour "meeting". Not everyone's cup of oatcakes. They were awesome. First time I've had them for over 20 years, since the Rocks under the Sydney Harbour bridge. Followed that with Mussels. First time I've ever had them in my life. They were excellent too. Complaining about food texture as anything other than a very secondary observation is absurd.

An extra 40 paying customers = £1,000 approx. These are the levels we're talking about. Our board have lost 5,000 off our average gate. Our potential is up to 10,000 more than our average gate. Yet our board can't even think in terms of attracting back 50 or 100 extra customers? Proof of the agenda difference that's always been there. Yet some fucking idiots screamed for Leighton to return? His wage would help. Yet some fucking idiots screamed when Miller's value was questioned. His wage would help. We have over 100 on the AFC payroll, for an 11 man team sport. We have 23 mouths to feed for Scouting and Youth Development. AFC is run like shit and under Milne, ALWAYS has been. Yet some fucking idiots said Milne LOVES AFC and is a "football man".

That Lendl, king of killjoys, master of misery, director of desolation is now in charge. That's the missing link. Two negatives and all that. Total positive reaction. He's still a massive fud.

Hey fuck off you. I'm not after an intelligent debate, I'm trying to flush out the millions of homo's on here. Now come screaming out of the closet or forever hold your peace!

You make your own luck in life and your karma can be engineered. The ten commandments are bad by virtue of the definition, commanding the subjects to comply. Catholic deadly sins were a better model but their consequences-attachment was flawed. Sloth, pride, gluttony and greed are all fucked up states of being. So is homosexuality but as long as they keep themselves to themselves, it won't bother me.

I take it you mean your own post, like in a self deprecating stand of viewingness point? Rather than saying mini59's post was a chronic waste of time? Which would be insulting. His post was ace. In fact I preach that his post was, in fact, ace. And there is potential ambiguum when you look at it this way, I'm sure you'd agree. Pretty sure we're all in accord, one giant wave of spiritual togetherness, washing towards the sands of time in blissful harmony.

Problem 1 is definition e.g. what do we mean by "god"? Problem 2 is interpretation, and Problem 3 is capacity to think or comprehend. Mix in a various bunch of people with a various bunch of conditioning then you're really fucked. I hate all organised religions - although some Buddhist and Zen stuff is quite cool, AND I hate atheism. I hate believers basically. Not preaching nihilism here, just the need to keep an open mind. In fact, I'm not preaching at all. I don't give a fuck what others think, both in method and content. Love nature, even the "ugliness" within nature, love love, love life and every little ting gonna be aw right.

Good call baggy89. You could be right. I just despair of the joyless (him) and the obsessed (her). The dog died.

Murray is a boring tit of a human with an arse of a mother.

Seve was a spent force for at least 18 months before he left AFC. He turned into a complete wank if the truth be telt. Both as a person and as a sponger player, taking his wages for fuck all. That's why he did nuthin after us. Cos he was, in fact, a wank.
-
I can assure you that the last 17% of the post made no difference to the interpretation. You're getting WHOOSHED, gs. The clue was in the question etc. Northen Rock? HBOS? Enron? Andersens? Still you invoke conflict/neg talk with your second sentence. Did Mummy not love you?
-
That has to be the biggest whoosh on AFC webchatspeaksites. You read 83% of my words and still didn't realise that I was supporting your view. Is it because you live in default conflict mode? You should try playing chess or backgammon online. Some beauts on there itching for a slagging match.

PricewaterhouseCooper quoted in the P & J today as saying that "the City Garden Project will create 6,500 jobs for the NE and pump an extra £122 million a year into the local economy". Who to believe? PWC, world renowned consultants or an anonymous guy on the internet who doesn't even live in Abz? PWC are part of the establishment, as solid and reliable as HBOS and Arthur Andersen, a Rock like the Northern, as creative, dynamic and successful as Enron, a firm that all us SME's wish we could afford. Imagine how much better off we'd all be if we could give them £32k for a couple of days "strategic overview" and then follow all their flowcharts and fancy language thereafter. We would be empowered and our hidden talents and resources would flourish. We'd get back that £32k a hunner fold, in a week and a half, totally incrementally. By my maths, £122,000,000 = £10m a month or one third of one million a day. The 6,500 jobs required to make this extra GVA - Gross Value Added, would you believe - is preposterous enough but coming out with this shit is just mind-bogglingly insulting to the intelligence of the public. I know we all read the Daily Record and the Sun and we can't count and we know fuck all about economics but we must trust the establishment otherwise our world falls apart. The economic assessment was commissioned by the City Garden Project management board and will form part of Aberdeen City Council's TiF (Tax Incremental Financing). If I were PWC, I wouldn't bite the hand that feeds either. Thanks for the consultancy fees. Lunch anyone? Wine? Champagne? Krug vintage or Cristal?

Yes we saw that but they weren't nearly as effective. Something had changed this half and I'm struggling to see what. Can't believe how much room they're leaving for Iniesta on the left wing although he's failed to do anything with it.
