Are you asking because you can't think of anything yourself? Or do you think it's a nonsense notion?
-
You've failed to grasp anything I've been saying, such is your pathological need for confrontation, non-harmony and/or disagreement. It manifests itself in an accusation of total contradiction on this occasion. Whatever.
-
I agree with your post in it's entirety but I'm not sure if you're disagreeing with me? My words were "until the finances are sorted out" and painting a best case scenario where cuntfuck coughs up. I also don't believe he has ever had any intention of suddenly becoming a benefactor but maybe you missed my whole point? What Milne "intends" is not the issue. We're so far fucked as a result of his mismanagement, an obligation to fix it comes into play. He is on the record as saying that a substantial injection of new funds will be required and he as good as guaranteed that the club WOULD attract the new capital and when further pressed, undertook that any shortfall would be met by the shareholders by way of rights issue. In case you're looking at further angles for dispute and confrontation (not unusual for you, in fact, the norm), allow me to puncture your bubble and to dry up your whetting apetite. It would be stunningly stupid and pedantic to pick up on the one word "obligation". All of us can appreciate the difference between an obligation enforceable in law and one that is not. However, given the smallness of the village that is Aberdeen, the emotive nature of football, the long and sometime glorious history of the club, he won't get away with leaving the club on it's deathbed. None of us can anticipate at this stage quite how Milne will make reparation but not to get him to fix it is as neglectful by the fans as it was to ignore the many, many signs along the way.

Yes it was. Fucking brilliant, in fact.

This is flawed thinking. If a result on a Friday night against a shit Fife team changes anything then the anything wasn't worth contemplating in the first place. Milne's objectives didn't change after Friday's result. His record of stewardship of our club for a decade and a half didn't change either. To be effective, any strategy needs to be clear in it's objective and precise in it's execution. The best case scenario is that he sells his shares asap, walks away from the club and regrets the day he ever got involved, as he loses a bunch of millions. Milne being here right now is good for AFC. Our balance sheet is fucked and we're losing tens of thousands every week. We've got a very rich chairman who can be held accountable. He'll kick and scream and say it wasn't his fault but the fans won't see it like that. For his own good, he needs to leave AFC on very excellent terms, given the shite he's been serving for so long, costing us a whole generation of potential fans and alienating thousands of existing ones. The only action available to us all along was to pressurise the chairman to look after the club properly and to take his responsibilities seriously. We never did and neither did he. Talk of uprisings or ousting him or replacing him is folly. He's the guarantor of the debt that he created so we want him here until the finances are sorted out. He said that a substantial injection of new funds is required under questioning at the AGM 2 or 3 years ago. Well duh, Stewratty, but for me, him providing the suitable cash injection personally then fucking off would be best. We can't afford to get rid of him now, nor is it right that he exploited our club for his own ends then gets to walk away. This is the creep who "bought" his shares at preferential terms and who charges us an extortionate rate of interest of money he "loaned" to us, supposedly. This is the small cunt who quashed all opposition to his fiefdom, despite him not ever having as much as 30% of the club's shares. This is the greedy hoor who thought it wise to spend hundreds of thousands of our money on a feasibility study, an "investment" which benefited a few in the city but not AFC, who's cash was squandered. This is the "fan" who presided over a decade and a half of shite football, appointing terrible people in the wrong places, appointing non-productive staff by the dozens to drain the limited resources and who got off with pursuing his own agenda this long for one of either two reasons: - either we didn't notice or the board were licking gravy at our expense.

Calderwood - Dons lack experience

Another one flushed out by the provocative text. There are some questions in my previous post I would invite you to respond to, plus an additional couple: - Does the shambles post JC have any bearing on the evaluation of both his performance and the decision to bin him? Was the granting of a contract extension good management? Given the lack of demand for his services, I would argue that it was madness. -

Did you have any problem with the insults he delivered to people of the NE and also to AFC fans? Do you agree that we had unrealistic expectations? Was he right to say that we weren't "hard enough"? Is the fact that we all have two cars on our driveways the reason we don't produce good footballers? His blaming of everyone bar himself, was this good management in your book? Were you proud of AFC under him? His obesity is merely a symptom of his lack of self discipline. Dedication to the truth is one of the four cornerstones of self discipline. His perception of truth is not real now as it wasn't then. -

If you found the football played acceptable and you consider that to be a good team then you and I see things so very differently that I suspect we have zero common ground on anything. -

Yes, you could be 100% correct. I wouldn't want to get in an argument over this. However, it may serve to flush out some pro-JC sentiments on here? Is this how it works? Folk ignore questions that don't suit them and continue on by picking up on something different? Generalist non-specific stuff like "horseshit" fae the boy above is from the same school of non-communication. -

In what respect? That I wanted him out (like most AFC fans who live in Aberdeen and shire) or that I called him a fat cunt? -

I agree with you. But this isn't the right way to look at it, is it? Comparing his reign with what followed doesn't increase his quality. I don't, have never, will never "hate" a figure as patent as Calderwood, a self-confessed proddie hun, a less than intelligent man with self-discipline issues who made some bad mistakes, who's value of himself is unrealistic, a fool who frequently insulted the people of the region where I come from, a liar who says he loved the city yet fucked off at the first opportunity despite having nowhere else to go and who still doesn't have a job to go to. Hating people over fitba or allegiance is so yesterday. The closest I get to "hate" with respect to football is what has happened to the club I once loved and followed passionately, the club I introduced my son to, the club that he supports and gets frustrated by more than I these days. Folk on here who lament his passing aren't real Aberdeen fans. -

You didn't want the fat cunt sacked? You found his reign acceptable? You found him acceptable? Jesus Christ. We have the club you deserve. -

You need to read Blink by Malcolm Gladwell. Or maybe not. You wouldn't understand. Being in the minority on here that wanted rid of him is paradoxically not a minority view in the real world. The majority of AFC fans wanted rid. Your pedantactile nature is already bristling with calls for proof etc. but if you read the book, and were comprehension-capable, you would recognise the truth. Sorry for not having the majority view. Sorry for provoking a real and present danger for debate. -

When asked if he would ever return to Pittodrie, he said "I would need to talk to a few people first and get a few truths from people". It is beyond pathos that he even answers the question, obviously rhetorical. The fact he considers it even possible, however remote, is tragic. You shouldn't have insulted us so frequently you thick fat cunt. You thought you were Erchie. -

JC's interview on STV tonight was conducted in a bookie shop. He is blissfully unaware that he's a joke figure. Why, if he's as good as he thinks he is - and he's convinced a few others by the look of it - is he out of football, never to return at any significant level? -
No, he was employed as a coach specifically with responsibility for working with the strikers only. Don't go throwing about accusations about agendas and unfounded misrepresentations. It's not our fault your knowledge of AFC is flawed. The first any of us heard he was "reserve team coach" (even though we don't have a reserve team) was at the AGM. The country mannie wouldn't have asked the question if he didn't know that SC was striker coach. For the hard of understanding who reckon this is banging on about the past, some context and enlightenment:- bb made a good point re WM's new role, supposedly rs made the parallel with SC's changed role, another symptom of the disease at AFC

His "style" of sniffing out goals being built predominantly on arse and elbows. Which begs the question - WHY did AFC employ him instead of using the money more wisely on a footballer? JC already had Jimmy Nic. He ended up with Clark and Leighton too. His boss's boss, SAF when he was here had Erchie Knox only and he was doing much more besides managing players - there being no DoF position - and yet Willie Miller thought it was all right to have more than twice as many in the management team including himself? This was stupidity in the extreme and yet some couldn't see the limitations of the fat orange arsehole. Everyone in world football can see it, thus why this blustering charlatan has ended up being ended with football. When he was at AFC, we comfortably averaged five figures per home game. It was obvious that this was the first and last gig that Calderwood was ever going to get playing in front of this many customers but because of his, his successor, and his successor's successor also being inept at worst and not-the-right-man-for-the-position at best, we're no longer averaging anything like five figures. Good management that, right the way down the line, for years and years and years, day after day after day after....

Loving the passion of your hatred as expressed both posts above Tyrant. Couldn't agree more without the danger of being accused of homosexuality. Not the same poofery that Ed Balls appears to have. His is more a victim of a gang rape at boarding school aged 12 or 13 whereas my sycophantising about your posts has only a slight hint of possibility that there's something more, something sinister behind my expressing approval like I would get noticed and earn your personal approval whereupon you would let me bugger you or I would get to suck you or whatever it is that poofs get up to. That Naismith goal celebration leaves me perplexed. Or it would do if I cared enough about it. No energy left to think about it these days, the pursuance of Tyrant being the only thing on my mind.

Another symptom of the diseased culture at AFC plc. The musical positions syndrome? Or perhaps the invisibly interchangeable syndrome, like we wouldn't notice. It's the same disregard for the customers that spawned shite fitba for many years and also the same place from whence the divisive PR and the insults towards the fans came. Sandy Clark was recruited as "striker coach", so we were told. The cynics thought jobs for the boys, empire building by the fat oaf, making him feel more important. Then at the AGM when we weren't scoring goals, someone had the temerity to address Miller to ask what contribution Clark was making. The sneering contemptuous risposte by WM was unfortunate and unnecessary but the jist of it was that he wasn't the striker coach at all but the reserve team or U19 coach now. First we heard.

Blame is only attributable where there is a problem. The board have identified that there is one significant problem above all others. As we can expect from our board, a collective of very clever and honourable people, they get it right. Poor attendances are killing the club. The board can't afford better quality without a decent revenue stream. It's quite obviously the fans fault. They don't attend. The board worked it out. They're right. As always.

How about this? Let the bank pull the plug. Let AFC plc go under. Then, we start Aberdeen Football Club Ltd., check out he viability of buying Pittodrie from the bank for a knock down price, bare our teeth at any builder arsehole who tries to buy it to turn into residential properties for sheer profit motives, and start again? We'll get to keep all the history of course, as it's of no value to anyone but us, and we get a Milne-free slate from which to start again. Of course we'll be carrying the debt that we paid to get Pittodrie from the bank in the first place but it will be no worse off than we are now and we'll be able to run the club properly for the first time ever. If things get really hairy, we can threaten anyone who buys property on the land once known as Pittodrie with dog-killing and child-molestation. Maybe I took that too far...... But hey, think outside the box and seek and ye shall find.
