You think those 15 points are shite? I challenge you to point out why they are shite. Do you never get bored by what's happening to AFC plc? They are facts, are they not? Do you not see this? Are you also with your head so far up your own arse that you can't see it? Boaby.
-
Isn't it obvious? Do you really need to ask this? Were you aware that he was a vocal critic and a representative of the AFCST? Then Milne made him an offer he felt that he couldn't refuse. Given his business record of failure, he felt he had no option. Milne wipes out the opposition in one fell swoop. Miller then presides over a useless period of football on the pitch, and gives fatman an extended contract when there was absolutely no need to. The crowds are voting with their feet. What part don't you get?

I accept your point re "problem identification process". My words were poor. What I was trying to say is that until the majority of fans agree on the problems, we can not expect to move forward. What I find incredible is that people on the internet who present themselves as Aberdeen fans deny that problems exist. Which one of the 15 problems that I listed were wrong? You want solutions, yet you fail to acknowledge the problems. It's pretty fucking obvious what changes have to be made, and if you're that thick that you need someone to spell it out for you, then so be it. But before discussing the solutions, either confirm or deny the problems. A majority of AFC fans in the real world and on another chat site are starting to acknowledge the real root of the problems which are driving the crowds away. You need to take your head out of the sand to acknowledge them. As for bunny boiler, who's the sad case getting all het up on the internet? You're a fucking beaut.
-
That would be one way of looking at it. Another would be to acknowledge the facts in front of your stupid little face. The facts include: - An inept manager now in his fifth year. Previous managers recruited by our current chairman, also hopelessly inept. A chairman who's business transaction with AFC put us in debt for the first time in our 90 year history. Milne used his creditor position to leverage himself on to the board, and then to assume total control. After two share issues injecting fresh, new funds into the club, we still manage to mismanage the club finances. The club have now gone into crippling debt, from which we have only the sale of Pittodrie to wipe out out current and long term liabilities. No funds in order to build a training ground, let alone the £54m required for a new stadium, and no further assets beyond Pittodrie. A regime at AFC plc that has dismantled and made redundant, the only vehicles that the supporters had to communicate with the club. Consistent PR coming from the club that incredulously lays the blame at the feet of the fans. A bitter ex-manager, with hopeless business and management record, recruited as DoF for the sole reason to provide a stooge for the under-fire chairman. A chairman who promised that the product would always be the priority. The football side of the business being so bad that long term supporters are being driven away. A period of the longest ever in our lifetimes without a trophy. Worryingly, not even getting close to one. Playing squad now at the worst ever, with no realistic prospect of being the third best in Scotland. Having been 2nd in the SPL two years before our chairman took control, we are now no better than the majority of clubs in the division. Some see the problems. Others deny they exist. We can never move forward until concensus on the problem-identification process exists. How can pressure be brought to bear on the decision-makers, and solutions pursued whilst some fools don't even see the whole picture. Then again, most of you internet mannies don't go and therefore don't appreciate the reality. Fortunately, real fans in the real world are starting to itch. If you were there on Saturday, you would have heard "You don't know what you're doing". The tide is turning all right, but not in the direction you deniers-of-reality would like.
-
Turned the corner? What corner is this, then? Anyone who was there on Saturday are shiting themselves for this weekend. Ridiculous notion. What possible event or turn of events can you offer as evidence for "turning the tide"? Turn yer heid inside oot min.

Man of the match v Falkirk 18/10/08

This vote is simply stunning incompetence, even surpassing the incompetence he displayed yesterday. -
In golf, the solitudinal aspect gives rise to some fertile ground here. A number of the greats, past and present, were so singularly focused that other aspects of their private lives suffered, including their own psychological development. I'm not sure that the sports themselves attract a certain person predisposed to one psychological condition or another, but in sports that are patently self-reliant such as golf and athletics, the single mindedness of the winner often comes at the expense of something else. The boy David Millar, the Scottish cyclist, was another good example. The only conclusion we might make is that fucked-up winners are more interesting than non fucked-up winners. Give me a fuck up any day of the week.

Never consider thinking about anything I post. I just make it up as I go along. I can't even remember what you're referring to. Sounds typically and ignorantly black and white they way you're recalling it, another surefire clue to ignore it. On Books, I am away to start One Arrow, One Life by Kenneth Kushner. It's been recommended by a friend who's previous two recommnedations I was unable to finish. Love his persistence and enthusaism though, and his bouncebackability. He is convinced I'm going to find his reading material as inspired he does. I hope so too.

Thats why I hate they smiley fuckers. I don't understand them. I have an urge to kill or maim things I do not understand. My curious brother, being different from me, likes things he doesn't understand. He says we can learn from them. Weirdo. So, you're waving bye bye to me. But I wasn't going yet? And waving while walking right to left on me? Too confusing. Destroy.

Steely Dan were shite in the 80's. Did they find music since then? Beardy weirdy hippy fags.

Love White Riot & Kashmir above, but what I'm listening to right now is pure class. Saw them last December at AECC, by accident, but always said their first album was awesome. Got bored of it within half a dozen listens, but revisit after a year and this is pure gold. Arctics # 1 From the Ritz to the Rubble. A Certain Romance. Mardy Bum. Just inspirational. Kids rule.

Yes, I rattled off a few, and you've just added to them. My point was if you go beyond a couple of decades, from where all my examples were, there were many more proven strikers in England and Scotland, every year, than we have today. I can't recall anyone since Larsson being noted in the SPL as a great finisher. Willie Pettigrew? Not prolific? Maybe not, but he was better than Darren Mackie. Pedant. Pedantactile. Pedler. Fiddler. -

It's the age old argument. Improved tactical awareness, better defending and fitter athletes able to hold a line and stifle chances, or not as many good natural finishers and creative players capable of opening them up. Ronaldo and Messi seem to be excellent examples that the talent pool is still there, but their longevity and consistency is as yet unproven. We definitely seem to have less prolific finishers in the game now. Henry was the last great in the EPL, as Drogba failed to develop behind his shadow. Larrson and McCoist in the SPL being the last two recognised natural finishers possibly. Go back a couple of decades plus and there are so many to choose from. Harper, Black, McGhee, Archibald, Frankie Mac, John Robertson even. Ian Rush, Kenny Dalglish, Brian McLair, Kevin Keegan, Malcolm McDougall, Charlie Nicholas, Sniffer Clark, Charlie George, Stanley QPR, Charlton, Best, Law, Greaves. Joe Jordan, Willie Pettigrew, Paul Sturrock. Darren Mackie doesn't quite belong in this company. Neither Samaras nor Boyd nor any of them in the SPL today. Torres has the makings of a great if he keeps this up over time, Adebayor is perhaps less convincing. Every single year you had a number of great finishers on both sides of the border. Now, we are struggling to find a couple. Think you are right TF. -
Still haven't seen it on telly but I don't need a replay to tell me that almost everybody, no, everybody, thinks you may be mistaken.

EE: Jimmy’s promise to sort out Dons
rocket_scientist replied to mizer's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
Smart ass comment that ignores the points being made. OK, you like us all to think you are so superior in articulacy and intellectual terms. Prove it. Debate him/her, instead of climbing up your own arse. Disgusting to watch. Calderwood can promise anything he wants. He's not capable, as is blindingly obvious to vast majority of attendees at Pittodrie. -
Haven't seen any highlights but it looked clear cut for ours. It brought to an end a great move, one of the very few in the game.
-
Fuck me, it was only 8 words, and you manged to misread that? The clue was also in the poster. He tends not to do the blindingly obvious.
-
What conclusion? Merely a suggestion based on observation. I am trying to help you. PM me with your problems. I will give you a virtual cuddle.
-
As I said, whatever the level of head fuck up I endure, your posts have decidedly got more angry since I last knew and loved you. I hope you don't mind me pointing out the blindingly obvious, Tenement. You will certainly need to reconsider your second name at this rate.
-
That is blindingly obvious also, despite the support on here for him to continue.
-
Your posts seem to be humourless and angry these days. Something going pear-shaped in your private life perhaps? You know, your offline life.
