Season 2019/2020 Rebuilding
rocket_scientist replied to KennyFuckinPowers's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
Ross's crime was to come on v. Sevco and score a "worldie", as that old drunk Merson likes to say. Then, cos he had no option, McInnes started him the next game at Dens. And subbed him off at HT, the worst professional insult any footballer could get. Particularly as he wasn't having a bad game. The whole team were shite that day. He has never been seen since. Despite our manager being so twisted against young prospects, the AFC fans chant his name. They must be stupid, or know fuck all about fitba, probably both. -
The conservatives got their worst result since 1832. Ok, this was MEP voting but the core Tory support is evaporating. You can't take the piss for this long and expect to get away with it. Unless the electorate are stupid. Which they are/were in middle England and NE Scotland.

I doubt that money is the main driver. They went for an available option to see out this season. He delivered. He loves the club. The fans were singing his name. He's popular amongst the players. No brainer to give him the job. The three Celtic fans I'm closest to all didn't want him to get it. But like the Aberdeen fans I know best, including family, we aren't fans of McInnes and yet like the Celtic crowd, our fans chanted support for the manager on more than one occasion. Where there is a disconnect between rational, thinking fans and the herd, it's safe to say the manager isn't going to succeed long term. It can only go downhill from here, for both Celtic and AFC.

No to continued membership of the corrupt EU regime. Yes to the end of the hatchet-faced cunt. The beauty is that the Conservative party are facing their biggest humiliation ever. Because none of her successors are electable.

That's nonsense. I can't think of ONE poster on here who "harps back to the 80's and is unwilling to let go of the past". The fact you resent the "changing of the guard" is tragic. This week is an exception because Bethpage is just a sloggerfest but the rough is so brutal that you still have to find the short stuff. No, golf is in a great place, particularly with all the young Scots and English coming through. Molinari isn't a slogger but he's a major winner. Spieth isn't in the same league as DJ, Bubba, McIlroy and Brooks for distance but he's won majors. You have issues with one man and it's colouring and poisoning your view. Tiger won the Masters and it was wonderful. He can't get within 40 yards of the biggest hitters.

Jealousy is the preserve of the sick. It's very simple in reality but it's not understood by most. This is because it derives from issues pertaining to the ego, self-loathing and envy being confused states of being.
-
Before you state publicly that you "hate with a passion" a person who (presumably) you've never met, there are reasons for this. You may be ignorant of these reasons. You might not know why you hate him as you don't understand yourself? It might be rooted in jealousy? Perhaps anyone who has supreme self-confidence offends you? Those with great courage may be the ones who prick your sensibilities? Whatever the reasons, whether you know them or not, it was a bizarre thing to post.

I don't get that. What the fuck? After watching Tommy for all 18 yesterday, we cut across to the 7th and saw him and Tiger hit their approaches. Crowd was too big by then to bother watching their last two but 63, 65, the man is a golfing genius. The principal reason Koepka is prevailing in the modern game is that he's a man. He's got big balls. He's a strong muthafucker unlike the AFC chairman, the AFC manager and most of you AFC supporting pussy pieces of shit. NYC is a zoo by the way. Full of Americans. And dodgy Oirish gypsy cunt fucks.

The first goal in this OF match was a shocking schoolboy error by Bain. It's staggering how thick these Sky commentators are and how lacking in understanding they are in the art of goalkeeping. Surely the guys - not the girl, girls don't do football, properly - at HT will pick up on it.

If the claims that the EPL was the "best league in the world" were premature before, its indisputable now. We can't argue with results. All four European finalists from the same country, and the champions elect not being one of them is an incredible feat.

I enjoyed the Kill Bills, despite some preposterous plot lines, the sword fighting aerobics being beyond a joke. Pulp Fiction is the greatest film of all time for me. Django is excellent but Jackie Brown is hugely underrated. Those three are his best but Reservoir Dogs and particularly Madchen being stuck in the middle with him was part of an epic ending.
-
I won't be re-watching it either. His poorest film by some distance.

Neither Wilson nor Cosgrove are good enough. I've seen most of the games they've played for Aberdeen and it's too obvious that we won't be offering Wilson any contract or deal. The only once he impressed me was his goal at Pittodrie when we won 3-0 (v. Hamilton I think) but most of the time, he looks like what he is, a great potential once upon a time which 30k a week for 5 years and/or serious injury has ruined. As for Cosgrove, there's a reason why a middle of the table League 2 side offloaded him for a pitiful 20k. The non-league Rooney was twice as good as the two of them put together and he wasn't good enough for AFC in his last year with us.

Or they can't see that Spurs aren't that good, have overachieved by getting to the semis and without Son and Kane were never going to be strong enough to get through. I think their manager is a boring bastard too. Barcelona tonight are an incredible value at almost even money.

The world according to TRUTH, not western lies

Venezuela is playing out exactly like John Bolton and his invisible unelected bosses hoped it would. Wake up Sheeple. The institutional political system and the mainstream media are the conduits. We are the pawns. And we are dispensable scum apparently. Love and Peace. The subjects of my first two tattoos actually. Just got to invest time and research the best practitioner to deliver what I want, even though they are very basic designs. -
Aberdeen are due a hiding at Ibrox. Today will be it. They're "a class above" after all, as the league table proves. Bizarrely, Celtic are a class above again but anybody watching the game yesterday would struggle to see the major quality difference between the Kilmarnock players and the champions. The SPFL is full of average journeymen footballers, unsurprisingly given how little they're paid compared to good footballers.

Just back from Glasgow. Great venue. 500 of us. You had to be there. Stunning performance. My daughter went blind and loved it too. Every song was superb. The version of I wanna be sedated was phenomenal, the artistic expression through her dance making it unforgettably wonderful.

Chelsea and Citeh have bought success. Roman's stolens will prove to be a curse on Chelski in due course, just as the continuing presence of Sir Old Whisky Nose is cursing Man Yoo now. Money is the root of all evil. SAF was sacked from St Mirren for stealing. There was a clear conflict of interest when his son was ripping millions from his father's employer through his "Elite" sports agency. When he got too greedy by trying to assert that he was promised breeding rights for Rock of Gibraltar, Magnier and Magnusson increased their stake in MU dangerously close to the 30% required for a takeover whilst applying pressure on Sir OWN all the time. SAF backed down. He was out of his depth, a Govan tink not being in the same financial league and having to learn that his thought that he was invincible was erroneous. The oil money funding the Etihad and all that goes on there bought some of the best footballers in the world and one of the best managers currently. Given that fossil fuels are the biggest contributor to the impending global catastrophe, it is likely that their bubble will burst at some point, possibly after their first and only Champions League win some time.

Branch strength assessment is all. Many a fruit-picker got fucked up the arse.
-
Lightning can't strike twice... surely? The 15/1 for Newcastle was preposterous. I'll go for 1-3 @ 12/1 but it is an amazing price for a home win at Old Trafford, possibly the highest this century!
-
Erm, thanks, I guess. Point of order. I ONLY engage arsiness when dealing with a total arse. Or with a cunt who might not be an arse but who is being wide.
-
Great men do great things. Great men create great things. Great men achieve great things. By every measure, Billy McNeill was a great man. RIP.
-
That cunt's been on the go for ages. He's ace. It's a peculiarly modern phenomenon to misinterpret passion and the expression of deep frustration as cardiological impairments. Probably because all passion for anything has become an extreme of itself in the dumbed down western world. Go the climate change protestors. Great job.

Shame to hear. Only caught the first half hour before switching to BBC2 to see a famous Scottish victory, despite the inclusion of a freak young man as captain of the opposition. The Edinburgh captain was himself freakily good in the second half. Higuain's goal was class. Caught the last 20 minutes too and once again, Chelsea were disjointed and failing to get the most from a supremely talented bunch. No Willian on the bench may suggest an injury. Ruben's a right talent, a big unit with great feet.
