The point of loans is to give experience to young footballers who aren't yet good enough to get a game for us. I don't see footballers at Pittodrie that are so much better than Wright to excuse the fact he's played so little for us. He's also not a youngster, turning 22 this summer.

Was Considine a Centre Back today, alongside Devlin? -
I see Wright was credited with assists for both Dundee goals last night.

Good timing min. Just back from the pub and already red lining cos pints are death in the unit count. The one we use is DrinkCoach+ (which I can only answer cos I checked just now) but anything that monitors and measures is good and I think there's tons of App options.

Baggy get yourself the Drink Tracker App. I got it in September, the week after my wife started using it because I was shocked that she had had 50+ units in the 5 nights we were in Switzerland so we could add another 30+ for me. She downloaded the Adrian Chiles documentary on social drinking which we watched on the flight and he was 100+ units and six days EVERY week. It was a fascinating documentary and you're so right, many of us have bad relationship with alcohol. We can't manage what we don't measure. I lost a stone in January from being dry, now the first time for years that I'm under 13 stone (also 6' 1) and almost 12.5 stone now, I'm determined never to get that heavy again. My problem has been when I do drink, it's been shitloads (as highlighted in red on the App) and have exceeded 30 units two days this month. The target of a minimum four alcohol-free days per week is helping but I know Sunday will be a sesh in the pub, (tons of fitba I want to see) so I've already got tomorrow alcohol-free, made easier that one of us needs to be sober to pick up the 17 year old from her work at 9 pm. I'm determined to be able to enjoy a drink for the rest of my life. It's not going to be possible without measuring and understanding how much I'm drinking now. One of my best mates hasn't had a drink for 10.5 months. He can't and whilst I was shocked to learn that he had become alcoholic, one of the last people I would have thought particularly as he had just secured financial security for life, being addicted to any drug isn't in any of our plans.

Great news about your progress. The mix of group therapy and one-to-one sounds like a great balance and "what will you do different tonight" is excellent management. One note of caution however; I know it was a throwaway lightweight comment and you weren't being serious. Now that I've highlighted those words, you'll know exactly what I'm going to say but it's important to start the way you mean to carry on. This means in your thinking too, not just your actions and the words we use are windows into aspects of our minds. The drinking culture we have in Scotland is highly destructive and whilst I'm sure you meant it purely in the context of thresholds, the essential (indeed critical) requirement for personal responsibility and self-discipline doesn't entertain external causes and the shifting of blame.

And scores the 3rd. 18 year old Ampadu came on as a sub at 2-0. Sarri maybe does listen!

Yes good point. There was an amazing incident on MOTD last weekend where there was contact, it should've been a pen but the "diver" got booked. It's getting too commonplace now, exaggerating matters to put on a show for the ref.

I don't share your opinion on this one. Yes the keeper lowered his arm and yes his elbow brushed his nose/face but there was no intent to injure him. He was quite obviously preparing to jostle him away to create more space for himself. The going down like a sack of tatties was the bigger crime. It was a joke red card and it was a stonewaller for Killie. Clarke was right, the officials ruined it all.

McInnes is clever in a street smart sort of way. By showing loyalty to his senior players, he garners their continuous support but the cost is playing and developing young talents and success. But where his goal is a wage and he knows the chairman doesn't expect him to do the unexpected (and win the league), he takes the easy option. There have always been ever-presents in his time at AFC, those players who were "too good to be dropped" but they were screaming to be dropped at many times due to extended runs of bad form. It's only now that McGinn and May are seeing some bench time but Lewis Ferguson and Shinnie have been allowed to keep playing through poor sequences exactly like McLean was allowed to do. Edit: Ryhun never got dropped either but there were times he could've been. By doing so, not only would it have told him he needed to be better it's telling the whole squad that nobody's invincible and gives others chances.

Oh excuse me. I just assumed it was Morelos. I didn't watch the game and only saw the clip. But hey, don't they all look the same? My points still stand re cheating to get an opponent sent off, refs not being professional enough and Sevco being a bastion of bastards.
-
It's semantics to labour over interpretations about his weaknesses. For me you nailed it when you said he shirked tackles, made easier passes and played within himself. That's what he did and that's why I called him lazy. I don't give a fuck about his Optima stats, he wasn't taking risks, he wasn't helping the cause as much as he could have and he was anxious not to make big mistakes. This is incredibly frustrating to witness, a player stuck in the second gear of his capabilities, never striving to succeed. As TS Eliot said, only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go.

Morelos went down like he'd been shot. Again. Like the funny gunslinger clip from Pittodrie the last time he played. So that's consecutively, within a dozen minutes of play that his reaction to two barely minimal contacts was a massive overreaction. His modus operandi changed however. Last night he went down like he'd been knocked unconscious whereas last time he took the writhing in total agony approach, the cameras showing that he was also looking towards the officials during his fakery to make sure his acting was getting his desired result. This is cheating and there is nothing lower in the game. Diving to fake a penalty is bad but almost understandable given the pace of the game and the fine margins, particularly as you're anticipating a contact coming that the defender had the skill and foresight to withdraw from. This however is "simulation" designed to get a player sent off. He's not the only one. Paul Pogba does it too but if referees were in any way interested in football and watched the game, they should be seeing the same truths that we all see and they should know that Freddo is a fucking cheat. SAF got rid of Pogba despite his obvious talent. It's going to be interesting to see what Gerrard's huge management experience will do with Freddo. I suspect the scouse tink has zero integrity and doesn't mind his star striker's cheating. He may even spit the dummy and walk if the Rangers financial position is so bad that they need to sell him and whilst they can't possibly expect to prevent 10 in a row by selling their best player, SG won't have the intelligence to know the karma cancer that having a cheating cunt like this can bring, not to mention the suspensions that this season at least have cost them the league. One thing is certain. Mark them down for an away win at Pittodrie if the cheat is playing. He can score goals and would be an even better asset for them if he can be educated but I reckon his character is too far gone. He's just a lowlife piece of scum and therefore a perfect match for the integrity-void that is Sevco.

Check it out yourself. It's trending on Twitter.

George Galloway on Sky News today was brilliant. He described the mainstream media - specifically The Times and "you", to his interviewer (meaning Sky) - as peddling lies and being "Goebellian". He also said that there wasn't "a fibre, a molecule or an atom" of Jeremy Corbyn that is anti-semitic. He pointed out that there was more anti-semitism in Labour under Miliband and that the Jewish lobbies know this and have the data to prove it. A pathetic retort from that wank Sky man was dealt with beautifully. Just because somebody says something doesn't mean it's true. The real truth can only be seen by people who ask questions and who think critically.

My memory of McLean was that he started off very promising but then got very lazy and was a waste of time for well over a year. Then, in his last season he started showing some good passing ability and coincidentally, this was when he was coming to the end of his contract. After Norwich got him on a pe-contract, he played his best football and therefore he was allowed to be lazy under McInnes and he cheated us fans for the majority of his games for us.

Very good letter from the three to the PM explaining their reasons for resignation. Twitter and YouTube, like ALL of the mainstream media, are part of the problem. Proof of this is numerous and various over many years now but Craig Murray has just pointed out that the YouTube video evidence of Joan Ryan receiving £1 million from Shai Misot of the Israeli Embassy to "spread around to increase Israeli influence amongst MP's" has now been pulled. Sit back and see how many "investigative journalists" even mention it, let alone ask the right questions.

There's clearly something in it? Because it's been repeated often enough? Name the anti-semites fostered by the party? The generalist accusations are telling in themselves. Not one of the eight defectors, nor one of the huge amount of "stories" on this subject (for well over a year now) has ever specifically outed the supposed bigots within the Labour Party. Rico was spot on. Not commenting on the obvious lies was always the best strategy. The truth will out.

Joan Ryan has become the 8th defector. Like the 7, she similarly cites anti-SEMITISM. If anyone should know the distinction, it's her as she accepted £1m from the Israeli government. The complicit presstitute media have all been quoting anti-SEMITISM. Zionist forces globally are indeed a distinct subject but it's been deliberately avoided by a system designed to protect itself. The only people deliberately "confusing the two" are the very people with a vested interest in doing so. Meanwhile truth gets distorted, further lies are spun and the ignorant believe what they're told. -
I totally agree with you kitns. We have seen a massive difference between our first born in 91 and our 4th in 2001. I'm not talking about two kids as individuals of course but in this 10 year span, looking at their peers and friends etc., it's not just attitude and work ethic that has regressed, it's aptitude and basic education standards. Teachers are saying this too.

Soul have a new fish restaurant. The menu is excellent and I'm sure they will do Haddock and chips very well but I'll not be back. First and last visit yesterday. Something missing. Well, everything was missing in my supposed chilli and ginger dressing as I couldn't find even a hint of either. Very bland food for me but wife's scallops and lemon sole was very good. She also not fussed about ever going back.

The Chelsea fans booed the substitution last night. Hudson Odoi was left on the bench. Sarri's continuing failure to play this young talent will be the straw that breaks the camel's back. Speaking of camels, I reported the ridiculous "uniform" of camel-coloured flatcaps being worn at Stamford Bridge during my recent visit there. They showed Southgate in the crowd last night, sporting the same headwear (but not in camel, more like dark grey). We've not seen him in one of those before. Following local fashion is not the mark of a leader.

Some incredible stupidity being thrown about on the anti-Semite question in the Labour party. Has anyone defined this issue? Before deciding it's a bad thing? Is the questioning of Jewish influence in modern history disallowed now? What exactly is it that Corbyn stands accused of? Was he wrong to be abhorred by what happens to Palestinians? Can the gluepot explain this please because common sense can't see it? -
TDD, don't respond to it. Any gluepot who thinks that there are right or left leaning newspapers - the print media being irrelevant in the modern era other than to the incredibly stupid - doesn't understand how there is no "right" or "left" anymore. There is nothing to be gained by communicating with gluepots this thick. They don't see anything. They are Leonardo's third and most tragic category of humanity but unfortunately they do breathe air and therefore qualify as humanity!
