  1. The best part for me was Sam showing that he can actually fire in a shot. The first was bravery and commitment in the header, which is what we expect from him but nice to see it rocketing off his feet for a change. Buried the 2nd. Great job by all and exactly what we should be doing against shit teams with a woeful points haul, although one of those was this month against the poisonous cretin tink who reckons they're a class above. Emphatic 3 points.
  2. The rain has indeed relented so game on. Nice wet pitch will produce loads of mistakes.
  3. Would be surprised if this game goes ahead and if it does, the crowd will be tiny. In fact, it's a night only for the die-hards. I was one once. There are different motivating factors for die-hards, or at least for those who still have a conscious choice, habits being very hard things to break. Some wear loyalty as a badge of honour, not so much for the cause itself but more about themselves and their capacity to give loyalty. For some, it's a tribalist sense of belonging, to the crowd. There are those who use the football as a family-bonding conduit. Others have fuck all else in their lives and there will be a handful who genuinely love and understand the game and get their kicks from seeing it being kicked professionally. Although that tiny minority hardly applies to Aberdeen FC obviously, not this century anyway.
  4. Mourinho gone. The most painful endurance in management now unenduring.
  5. I hope I'm not premature in pronouncing but 27 minutes into this Hibs Sellic, I feel that the end of Scott Broon is nigh. He's so pedestrian and slow, miles off the pace of this game. He's always been conundrumenical, having the appearance of a pre-Neanderthal and playing with a boisterousness worthy of the bhoy captain role and yet having the tone and soft voice of a primary school girl. Might just have had a heavy curry last night right enough but he's been shite and it's been a joy to see.
  6. SSN also mentioned he "couldn't settle". If there had been racism behind it, I'm sure that some journalist would like to have been the first to break it, especially in the current climate a week after Raheem. Twitter hardly a reliable enough source but difficult for the player to say it (if indeed it existed) if it was the whole city he felt was "rassist" (as funnily pronounced by Pep). The intellectual thinker Morelos should be canvassed for his experience... although how can we separate any abuse that he might have suffered by reason of him being a total retard cunt and nothing to do with rassism?
  7. I don't give a fuck what any survey says. I don't need to hear the views of others to know what I think. Relocating is the long-held agenda of one man. He didn't consult us properly. He neglected the maintenance of our spiritual home in furtherance of his plan. The FACT that he proposed relocation over 20 years ago and within 5 years of the RDS being built was proof that his plan did not accord with the board that he usurped, a board that DID have the best interests of AFC at heart. So it's a matter of trust. I don't trust Milne and no right-minded Aberdeen fan should. So fuck him and fuck Westhill FC.
  8. On the contrary, they can't see past him. Facts and form don't compute in their world. What they want is what they get. They erroneously think. Cos they be the peepul.
  9. You fucking beauty. Slates Stevie G. A class above.
  10. Your post reminded me elgindon. Some seasons, there is a team in the top flight who's ground I've not been to but this season isn't one of them. I find the likes of Livi, Hamilton, Killie, the new St Mirren and St Johnstone to be dreary, depressing places.
  11. One of my mates has been Smurren ST for almost 50 years. I went to Brechin v. St M towards the end of last season and said to him that they would need to invest big if they were to survive the SPFL this season. They were toilet with almost nothing of averageness even let alone quality. Whatever job Stubbo did, and it was bound to be shite as he's a fucking gluepot, nothing could save them given how shite the core of their first team are. Hope Dundee go down instead though. They've been limping around for too long and the insanity of employing McCann needs a karma punishment.
  12. Imagine the filth trawling around one of Europe's greatest cities? I couldn't imagine an ill-er fit, the uncivilised in a bastion of civility. On the other hand, if a European came to Glasgow, or Aberdeen for that matter, what a poor country we must look. I blame Greggs the bakers, bookies on the high streets and the weather.
  13. With less than an hour to kick off, I wish the best of luck to Vienna of the Rapid variety. Fuck the coefficient. Fuck the Union Jack offs.
  14. May will survive tonight. Her opponents are ball-less men and not enough in number. I voted for independent Scotland and for leaving the EU. Unelected cunts are never a good idea. They are a drain on us all and France will be next to bury the corrupt EU.
  15. I'm not going tonight. AFC have made me ill. Not just spiritually but physically too. I got caught in that horrible misty rain on Saturday and having seen that the forecast did not have any prospect of precipitation, didn't wear a jacket with a hood. I'm fucked this week and I've not been ill for decades. Fucking bastards.
  16. I've never understood the giving of contracts and paying the wages of footballers who the manager doesn't consider good enough. Given the incredibly meagre starts he's had - which must be less than 5% of games played since he's been here - it's obvious McInnes doesn't rate him highly enough. So why keep on paying him? There can be another possibility here. McInnes thinks he's a genius developer of young talent and doesn't play them until they're "ready". Wayne Rooney played at 16. SAF played them at 16 and 17. Even Levein has thrown in 16 year olds so until McInnes shows us just one example of a young raw talent who's gone on to bigger and better things under his nurturing, I say that there's a very real possibility that McInnes is the problem, specifically diseased with the notion that "you don't win anything with kids", as famously uttered by that prick Alan Hansen, himself of zero minutes management experience.
  17. You missed the intelligence of his ball through to May, taking out two defenders and creating a serious goal scoring opportunity. It was our best chance in the whole game. I'm intrigued to know how you can write him off? Given that's he's been at AFC for five+ years, there is an argument that he's not been managed correctly. Divide his starts by years and tell me if that's enough? You could be right and he'll never amount to much. I don't think the lad has had a fair crack and unlike you, I do see a footballer in there.
  18. A class above? Can't even beat 10 man Dundee. Useless bastards
  19. I didn't see the incident where he gave away the pen but I guess the ref agreed with me Seriously, very unlike me not to remember or fail to see a key moment. Must've been on my phone checking my bets. Logan is one of the few I would keep and one of the very few I consider good enough for AFC. Yes like many players under McInnes he has been regressing and you could be right that weekly travel isn't helping. It's a sad indictment of how bad our city has gotten that both Logan and McInnes opted not to relocate their families. It also shows a lack of long term commitment. But please don't quote McInnes agreeing with you as any sort of justification. He's a balloon.
  20. Not sure if I agree with that either. Much as I agree that May and Cosgrove are incompetently useless as overall complete strikers - where Rooney could at least sniff the onion bag - and the youngsters haven't been given enough games for them to settle into any sort of rhythm, I don't see any midfield players at AFC capable of delivering anything up front, ever. Not today anyway. At least within 60 seconds of coming on today, McGinn started delivering some good balls into the box but Ball and Shinnie don't have the skills nor the capability to make anything happen in a positive, creative manner. They're just breakers, not play makers.
  21. Agreed. No chance it was 11,000 even. Empty spaces everywhere.
  22. How small was the crowd today? Looked like a pathetic attendance. I blame Mrs CtS.
  23. Shinnie was fucking toilet today. Again. Lowe took 15/20 minutes to get acclimatised. He had a horrific start. It was an all round embarrassing performance by a bunch of footballers who are destined to win fuck all.
  24. Fucking shite. We were watching Logan closely from the South Stand and he had no runners in front of him EVERY time Considine was feeding him the ball.
