Fucking square it you Croat CUNT
-
Note to Southgate: don't use ALL your subs before you have to
-
I predict that this WC will be remembered for Kylian Mbappe and his impending performance in the final. Not thicko Kane. Thank you Croatia. 2-1
-
The very first time in the whole tournament that England have faced a hungry, semi-competent bunch of footballers as we've seen in this second half and they're getting pummelled. Beautiful.
-
Rakatic and Modric have been shite, just like De Bruyne and Hazard produced fuck all. But there is more than half an hour to go. England have been good, except "captain marvel". Kane has been toilet.
-
The problem with the lyrics "it's coming home" is that it suggests that it belongs to them and was always theirs.

He's a very good writer and he discusses the contradictory feelings that Manc spoke about. They ARE a likeable squad. Harry Maguire's interview yesterday was tremendous and self-deprecating. I particularly liked his Yorkshire angle as that's the area of England I know best and I love the place. The press conference yesterday with Southgate and Henderson was impressive. They both came over as committed, honest, intelligent and most of all with great enthusiasm, they're loving the journey. This England team, if it were to win the WC would not be as big a shock as others we have seen across world football. It would be less of a shock now, since the tournament started than anyone might have imagined a month ago but they're doing everything right and performances and preparations like this deserve reward. Grace is one of the four requirements identified for successful living, second only in importance to self-discipline in my opinion. The ONLY issue I would have if England did win it is the lack of grace the majority of them would have in their over-the-top triumphalism.

So you think that unelected officials and corrupt institutions add value to anyone in Europe let alone the UK? And you think this is "fixable"? And you base your opinions on what Westminster politicians say? What if a man who we don't like or agree with normally is right on one issue? Is it the Sun or the Daily Record where you get your world views? And do you trust the BBC or Sky more?
-
My vote was based on the exact same rationale as why I voted for Scottish independence. At least mine was an informed vote. What did you vote and why?
-
De Bruyne has been shit for 75 minutes. Belgium can't expect to win without getting anything happening from their two superstar footballers.
-
Nobody knew what they were voting for. The referendum was a farce in that what ultimately decided the vote was the very many thick white trash English racists. But the European Union is a farce. It is a vehicle for the established order to things to continue the way it is and therefore totally corrupt, the additional tertiary and totally unnecessary level of government costs too much and the major players are unelected and unaccountable. There are still people who read tabloids and believe what is written and there are other equally shit other people who are not tabloiders and voted Tory. The BBC and Sky are evil organisations and we've been so dumbed down that we believe what they, and any politician with a plummy accent, says to us. We get the situation we deserve... but for the proviso that we shouldn't have to deal with a whole system that is hypocritical and self-serving rather than of the people.

Pretty certain that a younger Ferguson would've stopped Deila. For one reason and one reason only; he would've recruited footballers with the right mentality, the hunger to win and the desire to work harder and smarter than the average bear. It's not "great to have a winning mentality". It's non-negotiably essential to have one, if the goal is to win, which it hasn't been for AFC since deep into the last century.

Unsurprisingly, the UK based bookies have England as favourites to get through to the final @ 8/13. I would guess that your cash out option would increase to about £140 if they did get past Croatia. It's a classic bird in the hand type scenario. The only decision you have to make just now is whether to hold out for an extra 45 or 50 quid or take a 70 quid profit now. Pretty sure you wouldn't stake £90 of your own money on England to beat Croatia at those sort of odds but they do have a chance in that Croatia weren't dominant against Russia.
-
Yes you do. No brainer cos they will NOT win the cup. I would cash out now before Croatia beat them. If England did make it to the final, your cash out will be more but that's not a risk I would take.

I agree with the not-unlikeability of the current England squad and manager. But I've seen it with my own eyes this week in Prague. I've seen it on the news this week. The English want to rule the world. They decided to wreck an Ikea after the game. They scrawled England flags on Welsh roads. The BBC thought this was worthy of portraying as high-spirited high jinks. They are oblivious to the offence they cause. They don't know how much the rest of Europe despises them. One England fan said "I have a dream. Martin Luther King said that. I have a bigger dream" and again the BBC thought this was great, missing the repulsive irony that a football match involving them is bigger than human rights. You have a short memory. Tabloids and football commentators reflect the fact that the jingoism of the English when rallied at times like these is offensive to all decent people. When we saw beer cans and bottles strewn all over the streets this morning, the wife said "England fans". The team may be playing and preparing in the right professional spirit but the English by nature are still disgusting... in collective, general terms of course, when united behind the cross of Dod, when they think they can get back their rightful place as top dogs, when there is nothing to mark their superiority.
-
Four "lads" came into the outdoor restaurant we were at in Prague tonight. Every Swedish top or tops that walked by got it full pelt. These morons think it's "banter". The rest of the world think they're arseholes. It's not just the lack of grace in victory that grates. It's EVERYTHING about the English. The way he spoke to the Czech waiter - where's the nearest cashpoint? - was priceless for two reasons. The tragedy was how he expected the serf to understand his slurred words. The comedy was how much the waiter despised him and how selective he was in his comprehension. Disgusting people. Disgusting history. Disgusting race.
-
Doh! So I did. I can't even blame factors that would otherwise be considered a reasonable excuse. I just fucked up. Massive "it's coming home" went up in a side street just off the main square in the old town Prague tonight. Sounded like 25/30+ of them. My juices were flowing. But the wife is no back up and there was fuck all I could do. Didn't even follow the noise to see if I could eye contact a couple of them to get them into a state of distress and distraction, where they made a mistake and got their teeth kicked in by my sleekit NE boot.
-
BBC4 starting now. Rich Hall. You just know this will be good. Cos it's him. And he's good.
-
Excellent e-mail. Unfortunately there's no response to it. The club can't say anything because they fucked it up and needed to fuck it up to flog their AberDNA shite. Another example of their true agenda. Milne doesn't give a fuck about neither the football nor the fans.
-
Disappointingly so. But credit to England who have been superb defensively both in shape and execution.
-
All this gushing praise for Kane, I predict he won't score any more in this WC * * from open play
-
I'd be surprised if the winner of this match can progress past Columbia in the QF. Not a good standard.
