  1. 66.6% Alcohol has a terrible effect on me. Talking of stewards I find the stewards at Tynecastle are suprisingly helpful and pleasent. Slightly off topic, but I thought I would mention that not all stewards are bastards in my experience.
  2. I have to say I did notice his accent, it wouldn't bother me, but I rememember being in a car with a mate when Northsound 1 was on and the dj was English. I remember him being disgusted that an English DJ was on Northsound instead of an Aberdonian one. I could see the voice over pissing him off.
  3. Only non Aberdeen fan I talked to about football was some random guy in a Celtic shirt in a pub shouting 'Championees' constantly. Unfortunately I don't think he was talking about Aberdeen.
  4. Now Eoin Jess I remember!
  5. To be perfectly honest I don't really have a need to be on first name terms with former Aberdeen players who left before I was old enough to appreciate football.
  6. Yes I am, haven't seen most of the players Aberdeen fans look back on with fond memories. I checked when he left Aberdeen though and that was 1996, when I was 6, so I may just have seen him play but before my memory was that good.
  7. Think they will be made avalible to buy? I deliberately didn't buy the new shirt as I thought it looked pretty shit, but I quite like that training one.
  8. I prefer that personally.
  9. Brings back memories of when my dad still lived with us...
  10. Think I was too young to ever have even seen him play, could be wrong though.
  11. Well the only link between Aberdeen and 'Theo' and Hollan I can think of is Theo Snelders.
  12. I Am Not Lost etc Theo?
  13. Fucking Old Firm. I'd like to say Aberdeen would have more integrity than to go along with their ploy, but in the end the realist in me knows thats unlikely.
  14. Good to know. Still, Jamie Smith isn't injured yet is he?
  15. I was just thinking about the players Aberdeen have signed, and the ones that have left (or not offered a contract) during the summer. I have only been to one pre-season game (the Manchester United one) so haven't really had a chance to see the new players in action. So to the people who have seen them play, how do you feel they compare to players we've lost?
  16. I like the sound of that. Was it Kilmarnock who hinted that may be what they are going to do?
  17. I told that one to my Modern Studies teacher a couple of years ago, she tried her best to stifle her laughing but you could tell she thought it was funny.
  18. Haha, no idea why that made me laugh, but I almost spat out my beer.
  19. If the OF fans act like cunts then thats the OF's responsability, doesn't matter who sells them the tickets. How can anyone with any self-respect support a club like Rangers or Celtic? Their both sides of the same tainted dirty coin, I'm absolutely sick of them and their fans acting as if they are the league whilst they suck the life out of the rest of the teams. Good on Falkirk etc standing up to them, I really hope Aberdeen do to.
  20. The Rangers and Celtic pages are quite amusing too. Passed many a bored hour on that site.
  21. Probably. At £15 a home game concession ticket I went to 12 games (I believe) costing me £180 across the season. An early bird concession season ticket is £150, so I felt like I lost out on £30.
  22. As in if you didn't buy the season ticket you'd be losing money, like I did this season just past.
  23. I've only had trouble in clubs three times in my life thank you very much, and only two of those times was it my fault. I maintain that protecting a mate who's getting felt up by some drunk bastard is acceptable...bouncers thought so too.
  24. Cheaper to go to home games with a season ticket though, so long as you go to at least ten your making money. I now live in Stirling, thought it better to not get a season ticket last season but I lost money by not having one, despite being overseas for two months in the middle of the season. Season Tickets really are great deals, save a decent amount in the end.
  25. Only ever been to Ibrox once, had absolutely no bother from the Stewards there. Not had trouble at most stadiums (being such a nice boy trouble rarely finds me) but been victimised by them at both Pittodrie and Tannadice.
