Out of all the stadiums I've been to I've only ever had trouble at two of them (which just so happen to be the two I've been to most often) Pittodrie and Tannadice. They are terrible at Tannadice though, last time I was there they were walking up and down the steps ready to pounce on anyone who dared stand up for whatever reason, with the threat of being chucked out if you don't oblige. Pittodrie isn't great though. Sitting in the South Stand where I do whenever Rangers and Celtic are playing the away fans are always standing up, and sitting in the South Stand right next to the OF fans you have to stand up to see about a quater of the pitch. So every time the ball goes there you have to stand up, and along comes the stewards to ask you to sit down, despite the fact that the OF fans seem to be allowed to stand up. This has got better recently though I have to say, a couple of seasons ago they were terrible for it.

Doesnt sound like his dad at all to me. I remember a few times against the likes of Falkirk where after scoring a couple of goals all thats happened has been defence defence defence.

We won something? Suddenly 1 goal in four games is 6 goals in five games? That sounds a lot better on paper I must say, We're gonna win the league and all that mad celebrations and predictions people make based on pre-season nothing games.

Got one this year, didn't get one last year because I thought with going to Stirling for uni I wouldn't go to enough games to make it worth it. I was wrong, so I've got one for this season coming.

I thought they played well against Manchester United (despite the loss) so this is a bit of a dissapointment.

Agreed 100% I felt like the only person in the South Stand not clapping the second goal. I mean its all very good and well applauding good play, but not when it leads to a goal against Aberdeen!

Wish I could go, unfortunately funeral fell on the wrong day. What times kick off? I don't think I'll be up to Dundee on time on the train, but theres a possibility.

Out of interest, does anyone know whether the Aberdeen goal should have stood or not? I thought it was onside and was suprised it was given off, but with no replays I can't be sure.

I don't think most the people in Pittodrie today do see them every week to be honest.

Didn't think much of the European champions to be honest, Aberdeen actually played quite well. Way too many Aberdeen 'fans' there to see Manchester United. A standing ovation for Rooney but harldy a clap for the Aberdeen players? It was bizzare.

To be fair(ish) to her she did follow Celtic first (because of Scot McDonald) but converted to Aberdeen because of me...first game I took her to was Aberdeen against Celtic too. And she did buy an Aberdeen shirt after we split up for a 'momento'. Only reason I suspect she now supports Celtic was she phoned me up from Australia to laugh at me when Celtic won 5-1 at Pittodrie.

My ex used to love going to Aberdeen games. She was an Aussie and when she lived here she went to a few games with me. Now we've split up she supports Celtic.

Anyway, more importantly, does anyone know anything about tickets for the game against Dundee? I can't find anything on the website, and forgot to ask when I was down at Pittodrie earlier.

Ahh, thats why people were taking so long. Thought there must be a reason for it. Took about a minute to get mine, told them what I wanted, where I wanted, they asked my adress, handed over the money and got the ticket. Everyone else seemed to be taking ages.
