  1. I think the scene in question was done that way so you could see exactly why Lol was so disgusted at her father being back in the house. I don't think it was really that graphic to be honest, I'm sure I've seen worse. I'm really enjoying the pace of it, it's a nice slow build up to what should hopefully be a really good finale, especially now that combo's back on the scene. Stephen Graham is a fucking superb actor (Damned United aside where he was utterly abysmal) and he always adds a real bit of edge to most things he's in. A film sequel may have been good but I get the impression Meadows had way too much he wanted to say about the characters and couldn't say it in the course of a two hour feature. A lot of these things start out as features and end up like this actually, it's not uncommon. I'm sure Low Winter Sun (If you haven't seen it, do so) was originally meant to be a feature but was split into two parts for TV as there was just too much that they felt they couldn't drop. Is An Idiot Abroad on normal Sky channels or is it only Sky HD?
  2. I think it's fantastic. It's moved at exactly the right pace, it's shot brilliantly, well scripted, and in Gadget it has one of the best characters I've seen in British TV for years.

  4. His handling is diabolical, I'd have Clangers back in a heartbeat. Howard is a disaster waiting to happen.
  5. If Pawlett is playing through the middle again I'm going to fucking explode.
  6. You vile moronic aberdonian. Or something like that.
  7. Aberdeen chase Udinese defender Nikola Vujadinovic Aberdeen Aberdeen hope to sign defender Nikola Vujadinovic on loan from Udinese. But the 24-year-old Serbia-born Montenegrin's switch from Serie A to the Scottish Premier League depends on him receiving a work permit. The left-back, who can also play in defence, impressed while on trial at Pittodrie last week. Vujadinovic, a former Montenegro Under-21 international, joined Udinese in 2008 but was on loan to Romanians Unirea Alba Iulia last season. Despite his presence in their defence, Unirea were relegated after their first season back in the Romanian top flight. Vujadinovic was a trainee with Red Star Belgrade before moving to Rad Beograd, Zeta then CSKA Sofia. After a season with the Bulgarian Premier League club, he won a one million euro transfer to Udinese, signing a five-year contract with the Italians. Aberdeen concluded the paperwork for the move before Tuesday's closure of the transfer window.
  8. Right back from the sound of the translation?
  9. Is Basey a left back?
  10. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/football/spl/2010/09/02/rangers-loan-signing-richard-foster-vows-to-keep-his-cool-after-aberdeen-fans-fury-over-ibrox-switch-86908-22530830/
  11. On loan till next June apparently.
  12. Richard Foster says he will ignore internet message boards saying the versatile defender is no longer welcome at Aberdeen after moving to Rangers on a one-year loan deal. (Daily Record) I'd rather he did line up against us, Pawlett and Aluko would turn him inside out.
  13. I wonder how he'll get on, all sounds like a bit of a gamble to me....
  14. Fucking furious. Beyond furious. I'm officially going full retard over this.
  15. That's all well and good but you can't say for certain that Muslim communities aren't doing anything, in fact I'm fairly sure they are. And also most of these EDL/SDL guys are just thugs and casuals who have found something they can exploit to fuel their own intolerant natures. Theres a difference between intelligent people getting together to discuss a problem and possibly find a solution and a group of bangers getting together to sing rule Britannia down george square and shout at people for expressing their religion in a country where you're encouraged to do so.
  16. We met a squad of Killie fans on the way back down to the weej on Saturday who were all apparently big into the EDL. Mind you, it's no surprise that wannabe huns are right wing.
  17. The protesters did a good job of protecting us from the EDL/SDL though.
  18. He certainly wasn't good, by any stretch of the imagination.
  19. I didn't see the Hamilton game but he was just a big bully boy against St. Johnstone. He looked about as skillfull as a brick. Same against Alloa, he was rotten. As was Vernon. Again against Killie he offered absolutely nothing. He was one of the least threatening centre forwards I've seen for a while.
  20. He was just another player to come out of the AFC youth system who had absolutely no idea what position he played in. He did nothing to any real level. Everything he did was totally mediocre.
  21. Jesus fucking wept. That's completely out of order. That sort of comment should be kept behind closed doors. Why is McGhee such a whore for the press?
  22. Magennis has been pretty much a non-entity so far. He looks like a big bully boy up-front but he apparently has no footballing ability whatsoever. Time will tell obviously but so far the signs aren't good.
