  1. Is it worse to be missed or to be the one doing the missing?
  2. Hearts lose Jonsson for six weeks Hearts have suffered another early season injury blow, with Eggert Jonsson ruled out for six weeks out with a stomach injury. The versatile Iceland international needs surgery after tearing a muscle during Sunday's 2-1 defeat by Rangers. The 21-year-old was captaining the side in place of suspended duo Michael Stewart and Marius Zaliukas. Striker Calum Elliot was hurt in the same game and and faces two months on the sidelines. "This is not good news but what can we do?" manager Csaba Laszlo told the club website. "He will be a miss for us but Eggert is a strong professional and he will work hard to get back as soon as he can. "Injuries are part of football life and we do not have the luck with this at the moment."

  4. Maybe Dingus reckons he can show Mackie how to raise his game?
  5. Roughly translated: The very best we can hope for is 4th.
  6. Could be a difficult one since Motherwell seem to have some goals in them at the moment but if we can contain that then we should be able to take the points as we look like we might have some goals in us ourselves. It looks like see the same team as last weeks although I suppose it depends on the fitness of Zander and McDonald. I wouldn't mind seeing Paton get a run out this weekend at some point though, especially if Miller has a similar performance to last Saturday. Mulgrew Ifil Consi Crawford Aluko Kerr Fyvie Foster Miller Mackie As long as we tighten up in the middle of the park, press a bit quicker and keep our passes in the direction of the red shirts we should have no problem. 2-1 Dons. Mackie, Aluko Come on you reds!
  7. As the old joke goes, left back in the dressing room. Mo Camara is shit.
  8. I have no ball, not in my hall. Not at all.
  9. NO WAI. I have a hall too, we should hang out!
  10. Where is that miserable fanny WellRed?
  11. The most replaceable player we have. Tata Deek!
  12. Just photoshop them in
  13. I can't wait to see RedTV's exciting exclusive on the taking of the squad photos. They were so entertaining last year.
  14. We could use a few more keepers.
  15. No, the forum would die if weren't arguing about Jimmy.
  16. The goals, and the quality of the goals papered over the cracks quite heavily. How may times did we give the ball away in a completely needless manner? We also really struggled to clear our lines at times, the goalmouth stramash in the second half being a very good example.
  17. And Maguire. And while Aluko may not be part of our youth set up, he was still still only a teenager. So that's not bad, almost half a team.
  18. I was of course purely fishing about Jimmy. I'm pleased for both lads that they did so well and hopefully the team can sharpen up a bit more for the Motherwell game and get another 3 points in the bag.
  19. http://www.afc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News/clubNewsDetail/0,,10284~1765991,00.html http://www.afc.premiumtv.co.uk/javaImages/ea/3f/0,,10284~6963178,00.jpg[/img] DONS GOALKEEPING COACH MOVES ON Aberdeen Football Club have announced that they have parted company with goalkeeping coach Jim Leighton. The fomer Scotland international and Gothenburg Great returned to Pittodrie twelve years ago from Hibs and retired from playing in 2000, becoming the club's first ever full time goalkeeping coach. Manager Mark McGhee said, "On behalf of everyone at the Club, I would like to thank Jim for the massive contribution he has made in his two spells here, both as a player and a coach, and we wish him all the very best for the future."
  20. Despite Fyvie playing so well, Mulgrew scored one and set up the other two so it's no contest IMO.
  21. I'm sure one of the interviews said that the first team would be using it whenever they could get it booked.
  22. I thought despite the scoreline they still played fairly poorly, the passing was terrible and for some reason we didn't close down their midfield at all. Play like that against a team with any real ability and we'll be in trouble. On a side note though, how fucking pleased was Considine when scored? He looked like he was going to vault the barrier and run into the stand to celebrate with everyone. SKMG.
  23. He was really good, very composed, full of running and a good passer of the ball. Jimmy wrecked our youth policy JMG
