Last season was pretty pathetic without the extra motivation and also the injuries that totally exposed his policy of having a strong 1st team and little else in reserve. This seems to be the vision he has for us.

I'm not keen on McGhee's aversion to squad depth, that's what fucked him at Motherwell and he hasn't learned from that.

slicovice is a plum based spirit, it's fucking brutal. The locals are fantastic, in the 4 or 5 years I've been visiting olomouc I've never seen trouble and I've only ever left the place with more friends than before! If we respect the place we will have an utterly fantastic time but if we don't I can't imagine the cops being overly grateful. In the main square (horni namesti) there's tons of really good bars and just off that you have bar pheonix which is a 24 hour boozer.

No idea, I only drink the beer (you can't be in the Czech Republic and NOT drink their beer) and the slivovice, but it'll be cheap as fuck.

Incidentally, this is the pub just up from the stadium: Bar Letka There are NO strip bars in Olomouc btw. Sorry. Side note: Most pubs in Olomouc charge about 25kr for a pint. £1 = 30kr

Sigma Olomouc please!!!! I go to Olomouc quite a bit (just back from there this week) and it's a great wee place, theres a mad bar right next to their ground which is inside an old airplane. Edit: Now that I think about it, I don't really fancy having a couple of thousand dandies marauding their way through my favourite place for relaxing.
