As a thought, if Smith was fit enough to play regular, I think he would make a superb captain.

As discussed elsewhere, if it funds a successful move for Clarkson then I wouldn't be too fussed. Millers pretty well settled in Aberdeen now though is he not?

He's a very poor passer of the ball as well though, and for some reason whenever he actually (by some miracle) beats a player his ability to cross vanishes. The only skill he really has is the ability to hit a free kick, if he didn't have that he would be playing in the first division.
