  1. What right back? I cant remember the last time we had a right back.
  2. He also continues to Pick Langfield and Diamond, we are stuck with these players, and our squad is so threadbare we HAVE to play these guys. Like i said in my original post, if he was allowed to sign basey i dont think we would have seen ifil this season.
  3. Im just pointing out that it is a player a lot of the fans wanted at the club, i didnt make any mention of how good a player he was i was making the point that Mcghee wasnt to know how the player would have turned out. Then i went on to respond to jutes comment. I dont see the problem!
  4. That was my only point, surely mcghee cant be blamed for Ifil turning out to be shite, he trained well with us for a week, he was a regular at swindon, whos fans loved him and he had a blinding trial for us. His first few games he was ok for us. Was just pointing out that although the player has turned out to be shite, that cant be blamed on Mcghee.
  5. So you are both telling me Ifil didnt play well in his trial against hull? Seem to remember the fans chanting to "sign him up"
  6. Mcardle is a decent player, doing a decent job, more than Adequate replacement for the players that left. Vujadonivic is a left sided defender who replaced Mulgrew - dont see much problems there. Ifil looked like a decent buy after his trial at hull - dont think i heard anyone complaining then and howard is a back up for langfield bought to replace neilson. Cant see much problems there, Next
  7. No you fucked up
  8. Because he had an outstanding game against hull?
  9. Surley Diamond, Ifil and Langfield making fuck up after fuck up cant be blamed on Mcghee. Its not like he was given money to replace any of them?
  10. We only lost one full back..........Mulgrew.
  11. After we signed the two players you stated were not a priority despite the fact we had lost 4 defenders and 2 strikers
  12. Oooooooooooooooft cutting. Why - because you say so? He done what he could with the money he got, Hes a manager of very limited ability but has still managed to sign some very good players despite the restrictions he is under!
  13. Why because you didnt like what you heard. TF Posted some shite about priorities and listed two players, At that time a left back was not required as we had Mulgrew. But lets not let the famous made up facts get in the way
  14. Not a lot - but enough to make a differance Was allowed to sign 9 free transfers. Stevie tosh for 30k Sheerin for 10k What ever it cost to release hart from his contract Hinds for 20k Mcquilken for 60k (has to rival worst signing ever) and what ever it cost to release prunty from the tims. That has to be debatable! Mcghee has done the same what is your point? We signed, Magennis and Vernon, Velicka here for free - so hes brought in two strikers and going by whats already here - we needed them both Both players were signed by the club before Mulgrew left us. So left back wasnt really as big a priority as filling positions for players that had already left. Since Mcghee has taken over we have released Two keepers - Bossu and batemen and taken in one keeper in Howard. -1 6 Defenders - Mo Ross, Grassi, Paterson, Duff, Mulgrew and Mair and taken in Mccardle, Ifil, Vujadonovic - 3 4 Midfielders - Kerr, Mcdonald, Stewart and Marshall - and taken in two Hartley and Folly - 2 3 Strikers - Wright, Miller, and Maclean - Been replaced with Magennis, Vernon and Velicka - evens itself out. Could be argued that some of the players taken in (like Mclean) were to replace players already listed but even so we lost in total (including reserve players) 24 players and were only allowed to take in 8 to replace them.
  15. Yup and imagine what sort of players he could have taken in if given some money to play with, could have even signed that left back he was after - what a differance that would have made. Not suggesting that at all - have stated on more than one occasion that i didnt beleive mcghee was the man to take us forward but at the very least i thought they would have gave him the Lee Miller money to play with. Again im not sure what else he could have done with allowance he was given, he was screaming out to sign the guy basey.
  16. You are compairing mcghee to two managers who were given a good bit of financial backing by the club, granted pele didnt have that much money but he was given some money to work with. Mcghee has had to go with free transfers.
  17. How much money did the two managers mentioned have to improve the squad?
  18. Mcghee had an okish record - He was never the man for the job, Even less so considering we havnt given the guy a penny to buy a player. Calderwood did a good job in his first couple of seasons and pushed the self distruct button Paterson was a joke, although his reign financially stabalised the club (more to do with wyness than anything else) Skovdahl - Never managed to win the big games, think if Calderwood had followed Ebbe rather than paterson then the club wouldnt be in the shape that it is now. Miller - Responsible for the worst transfers in the clubs history
  19. Official line was that Calderwood had accepted his pay off before the hibs match was it not? Calderwood was not sacked, he asked to be paid off after several members of the board gave him a vote of no confidance, the quote was something along the lines of "Jimmy several of the board members arnt giving you their backing" If thats the case then write me a cheque. What ever happens - Im sure they are making their shortlist already and untill they pick someone who can get rid of the cancer within the club nothing is going to change. We cant keep working our way through average managers, the change needs to come from the top.
  20. Nothing like being innocent until proven guilty. Strong smell of shite on this one. Not even aberdeen football club would keep a manager then fire him after a win. Only the way Mcghee is going is if we get humped.
  21. I think they were both a bit quiet on the pitch and all to often when the going got touch, seve got going! He went into hiding far too much for my liking. Our defence has never fully recovered from Anderson and Hart both leaving.
  22. Ooooft get you. Dont bash those keys too hard pussy.
  23. I genuinly think if Calderwood had a guy like this in the dressing room we could have won a trophy under him, Not for his playing abilty but to drill some professionalism into the players. What might have been.
  24. Some would say that we were thin on the ground on strikers. Some might say that 2 goals (none from stikers) in three games is fucking woefull Then again some on here tried to convince me Maguire was a strker!
