Would rather stand outside for a numpty for a wee while then do absolutley nothing

dissapointing turn out - but im a man of my word i said i would join no matter what when i seen the poor turn out it would have been easy to carry on walking up the road but then i would have probably got more abuse if i wasnt there for "bottling" it on here and the hat Catch 22, dissapointed with the lack of pitch forks and burning sticks looks like the aberdeen team is not the only thing that was lacking in organisation. in my opinion if anything was going to happen it would have happened after dunfermline and the oppertunity was missed. No harm in standing up for what you believe in though.

Of course they want him to stay, they obviously know we will start thrashing them once calderwood is removed from power.

From what i can see we have two options. I dont see miller giving the ok to sack his "man" so the most realistic option is to stick it out and go for third (which after this result should be a new priority) 4 games to go till the split and 3 of them away Think we need at least 7 points just to be in with a shout. Looking at the fixtures hearts and united dont have it easy either, unfortunatly motherwell and hibs are snapping at our heals which could put pressure on us - something we dont react well too. then there is next season, smith and seve aint getting any younger and they are on big bucks - they need to be offloaded no point in offering new deals need to cut loses and look for something else. We need to get a few younger, hungrier kids who actually want to play for the club. What we have just now is too inconsitant to ever be the 3rd force, too many needless changes. When we cut that out this season we actually looked like a decent team. The other option is that calderwood walks and we are left with the dross we currently have if you look at our talented players we have.......aluko (inconsitant) miller (lacks motivation) and Diamond (makes too many mistakes) we have a good crop of youngstars in the under 18's who we cant afford to waste (looking at our current team in 2 years we are going to be fucked if we dont bring two maybe three players through) think we need to get a manager is willing to give these lads a chance. If it fails we are loosing nothing, but we cant go on like this, we need to rebuild again. In my opinion the change is two years too late in coming (if it does come) but we have to look at two or three years down the line.

i thought we were a great team - thats the core of our current first team squad is it not? Cant have it both ways cant be a good steady team in one argument then change your viewpoint in a differant thread -

The future of the club depends on these players been given a chance to show what they can do. If not we are going to be left with a team full of journeyman i.e. mair, duff, young, foster etc. We know the afor mentioned arnt good enough so why not give at least one of them a regular chance. -
You heard wrong Im a winner and so are my team
-
im still pissed from darts last night, you will have to excuse me
-
I like kerr and mcdonald but they dont fit the above criteria, closest we have to that onthe park at the moment is diamond, We never really replaced stevie tosh from the team, who granted wasnt the best or most gifted player to grace the turf but he made up for it in effort and his on pitch attitude. We do need a team captain.

Ooooof the famous goalposts comment. Well it doesnt matter how wide we make them jimmy still manages to miss
-
When was the last time we were in the box long enough for one of them to make a challenge and give us a penalty
-
I believe so Noticable also is the comparisons made were between two legged affairs
-
Think we will have to agree to dissagree on this one then, winners go all out for a win in every game, just now its like, well we would like to win i guess but im happy with a draw if it means not getting beat, which is fair enough but if you check the results over the course of the season there have been some shockers and lets be honest not like its been one off results either. I would also like to point out that we arnt making progress.......in fact quite the opposite, agreed we did make good progress from where we were say 5 years ago when we were the manager at the time was forced to make massive cuts in the budget. But after the money that has been thrown at the team and the current opperating budget there isnt much to show between us and motherwell in the league. I'll get the open top bus booked and cancel the taxi.....................

dissapointed with the draw against lower league team and fed up with the losers mentality within the club and some of the fan base............but could be worse we could be out. Get through the replay sneak the semi which will be tough and who knows if jimmy can keep his head out of his arse - we have shot, probably our best shot since 1995. But then again after the semi last year i refuse to get myself to worked up. Take each game as it comes and do what we do best (attack teams and stop sitting in) and im sure we can do it. Will be a true test of our managers abilty and how much faith he has in the team.

if we dont win the cup this year we never will CMON YOU REDS
-
2 cup finals more then jimmy and more wins in europe then jimmy yet he still doesnt get the respect he deserves some of the best players in the world were in the SPL when he was around and still managed to get 9 home wins in a row - a feat that will never be beaten Bring back ebbe
-
Fucking hell - what were the prices before
-
So a player coming out of the team has to be directly replaced with someone in the same position? never been known under calderwood so why would we start doing it now?
-
Did i say that?
-
Both foster and mackie have been playing all over the shop - i was suggesting they could be fucked off and make way for the young lad to get a few more run outs. If it doesnt work out - nothing lost!
-
well done to JC for putting the young lads in, very impressed with pawlett deserved a goal but miller denied him the chance more then capable of replacing foster and mackie lets get him in. Maguire had 4 easy chances and scored two, should have had 4 but still scored two and a better return then mackie would have.
