Word on the street is FJ isn't wanting to do it again! So we need someone to step up! Last year, it was also a "play-off" to win it. Basically we have to wait for the 2010 game to finish before we start the 2011 one.
  2. Presumably he agreed to the switch to a Monday night for TV. Get fucked Thomson.
  3. Yeah, saw guys on Mad on about that. Money troubles down Tannadice way?
  4. Langfield's "good" games tend to see him to do his job at a competent level - see the four games previous to last night. His "bad" games are when he is fucking dreadful. Not good enough. Get rid.
  5. This keeps coming up again and again, it's still not a viable argument. Just because everyone else has shit between the sticks, we should too? He's fucking mince. Can AFC afford to have a keeper who bottles it in every game versus the OF and every game at Tannadice? Anyway, watched the game on ESPN, seemed pretty even up until their first goal, we were playing some decent stuff until we reached the final third, when it generally broke down. Also played OK in the five minutes after Magennis scored. Overall though, a deserved loss. Would take a draw and replay back at Pittodrie on Saturday. Big game.

  8. No extra day off for us
  9. I'd be inclined to agree with jäger here, all the Tim have done is point out they have arranged and budgeted for this friendly. SPL can't do much else really.
  10. ^^ Me too! Otherwise, is this on MW today? online radio coverage?
  11. Reading another by same author - 'Attention All Shipping', a tour of the shipping forecast. It's alright, not as good as Stamping Grounds though.
  12. Speaking of bottlers. http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/blog/2011/feb/25/joy-of-six-sporting-chokes

  14. Don't think I've seen a post so utterly fail-tastic.
  15. I'd be willing to wager we will never win anything with Langfield as our no. 1 keeper. He's a bottler.
  16. This 'who is better than Langfield' argument is bollocks. Look at the keepers Dundee United have had in the past ten years - could we not have had any of them with a bit of scouting? I'm fairly hopeful Brown and Knox will have identified Langfield as being mediocre, and will have the mechanisms in place to replace him. Cerny from Hamilton would be an option, if they get relegated and aren't looking for a fee.
  17. Smith is supposedly looking to move back to Scotland due to homesickness - hopefully Norwich wouldn't be too hard to deal with, although if they are looking for a fee that rules us out. McNamee would be a decent signing if he can stay fit. Think we should be looking to keep Aluko, but wouldn't be devastated if he left. Langfield and Diamond can GTF.
  18. So from an available 21 points, and not taking any other results into consideration, we would need to take in the region of 14 or so. A tough ask!
  19. it's amazing what dribble will get reported as news.
  20. Bobby ponders his next move.
  21. her parents should (three) pointer in the right direction.
  22. TITP announced too. Not that I'm going.
  23. Kerrect. It's the game from 20th March, when Huns will be in League Cup final.
