I thought the third series of Inbetweeners was nowhere near as good as the previous two, glad they stopped it when they did.
Also enjoying Phone Shop, it's decent.
Reading "Stamping Grounds" by Charlie Connolly. He follows Liechenstein through the 2002 World Cup qualification campaign. I like this type of book, so anticipating good things.
Alright slags? What are we doing this weekend? Hanging around with musicians who collaborate with Stuart Cable? Protesting outside Wayne Rooney's gate?
I personally might have a game of darts tonight, and am planning to watch the game tomorrow in the warmth of a pub in Kirkwall, whether that develops into an all-dayer or not, WHO KNOWS?!
I fucking hate Boruc. Another signing in the mould of Hartley though - hate him when he plays against AFC, hero if he does come. Would hope he would quit the pandering to the Catholic element of Celtic support though.
Christ (pun intended) I'm talking as if he might actually arrive at AFC! lulz
Well, they highlighted at HT that both Hutton and Jenas being pulled out of position for the first goal, allowing Zanetti in, while Ekotto(?) and Gallas were far too far apart for the second goal. Doesn't take anything away from a fantastic first half for Inter though.
As if the split wasn't currently enough reason for the SPL to be a laughing stock, they're trying to make it worse! Uneven games, honestly, FFS. Is there any league in the world, anywhere, where some teams play more games than others? Fucking hell!
What's your point caller? How many games has Goodwillie started wide for DU?
I should say, I'm no particular fan of Maguire, and I think Aberdeen will probably end up being the biggest team he plays for in his career, but his continued misuse at club level is frustrating, particularly an example like Saturday.
You could say it's been a failing of both Calderwood and McGhee to not utilise him in his most effective position, when it's been shown he can score goals upfront, by his U21 form.
It was a baffling one from McGhee. Maguire finally starting to look the part upfront, forming something of a partnership with Vernon, and should be flying after his screamer on U21 duty. So McGhee decideds to punt him wide to start a striker that hasn't played any football in 14 months. Desperate stuff.
Yeah looks like a cracking team to me! Will be good to see how Jack and McArdle get on in those positions, as well as first viewing of Velicka in a Dons shirt.
