  1. Big Demps has been enjoying a gamble... http://sport.scotsman.com/sport/Changing-room-chat-Dempsey-backs.4679651.jp
  2. you say that when Rio scores at Manyoo?
  3. great
  4. I dunno, you can probably find some similarities between watching Aberdeen and forced sex.

lack of knowledge doesn't normally stop you
  6. Betting is for mugs
  7. perhaps Inter (although Cyprus could be tricky), but Barca at 1/12 isn't worth it, IMO.
  8. Nope, but you've inspired me to put a fiver on Draw Marseilles-PSV Chelsea Bayern Man Utd 34/1
  9. Indeed. While there is a 'space' in the Scotland squad, replacing Boyd with Miller is hardly like for like.
  10. The radio commentators were certainly incredulous at the amount of time he spent looking for a foul on Saturday.
  11. Agree that we will finish third, but don't think Rangers will implode. They have too many good players (particularly in midfield) and not enough games to put any real pressure on. Because of the points the 'bottom ten' will take off each other, the OF will be a long way ahead, IMO.
  12. SS Red and students?
  13. managed to get it with specially flavoured windows as well!
  14. That's nothing compared to me. My team has only lost one game in four years, and it was to a team captained by some fella mumbling about a book.
  15. Hardly. Inconsistent he may be, but he has played most of our games over the past few seasons. Aberdeen 2007 - 08 League 33 (2) 3 FA Cup 4 (0) 0 League Cup 2 (0) 0 Euro Cups 8 (0) 0 Aberdeen 2006 - 07 League 34 (1) 4 FA Cup 2 (0) 0 Aberdeen 2005 - 06 League 28 (0) 3 FA Cup 1 (0) 0 League Cup 3 (0) 0 Aberdeen 2004 - 05 League 31 (0) 1 League Cup 2 (0) 0
  16. Take that AFChat
  17. Would rather see our own Stuart Smith being given a chance at LB, but if he isn't good enough, then there would probably be worse players we could go for. Injury record isn't too shit hot though.
  18. He certainly had a go at Mackie from the highlights, when MackAttack was caught in possession, leading to a Lovell chance. But no, I wouldn't have him as captain.

    Andy Murray

I think I passed Tim Henman's achievements when I briefly picked up a racquet in the summer of 2004 and knocked a ball against a wall for a few minutes. I think I may have been British number 4.
  20. Far left, front row.
  21. CCR January 2nd
  22. Maybe they could have worn crowns and fur coats to make it look a bit more expensive, Lee Miller draped over a pink limo etc etc
  23. I was in the sport section of my local library and picked this up. While I found it OK, I would have preferred more of a 'story', and his wit was getting on my tits by the end. Also read 'Those Feet' by David Winner, which was very interesting, charting the changing nature of English society alongside its style of football. Currently reading Bill Murray's 'Old Firm' updated edition, which is very enjoyable. Have reached up until 1984 so far. Next up is Bobby George's autobiography.
