  1. Indeed. I think his illness, which he is now at home recovering from, has deflected a lot of flak from him. He has left a football club high and dry, as Ajja points out, knowing full well the consequences. No matter what he has invested so far, I feel he should have had a plan in place to at least see Gretna through to the end of the season, where they could have been wound down.
  2. I see Skelton is still soldiering on, that's loyalty (or stupidity). Am I right in saying he was been with Gretna since their days in the Unibond League?
  3. For fuck sake Jimmy, what were you doing signing another injured dud?!
  4. D ye no find it a bit o a bugger typin' in at fake accent min? Must get affa tiresome!
  5. Yeah, I'd have to agree with you there, competitive games against top quality European sides have been thin on the ground these past nine months.
  6. Who was the boy on AFCChat that banged on about supporting your local club, but also supported Liverpool, claiming it was because they wore red?
  7. As opposed to the host of shite that we've had to endure this season? Did I just bite?

    No-one got Brooks Mileson?
  9. I suppose it does fill a hole in the afternoon.
  10. Four fingers or just the two?
  11. I'll take a PM as well!
  12. Brewster's teams are hard to beat and Jeffries has done well with fuck all money... Fuck sake, tenth.
  13. Yogi Hughes' teams play the best football this side of Rio, so that's us in seventh.
  14. I haven't looked at JCmustgo-chat, but I'm sure this quote was treated with the level-headed, appropriate approach that they use for every other press article emerging from Pittodrie. I'm sure none of the high-profile 'JMG Mob' ( ) expect us to win the league and both the cups, but only expect us to win every game as teams like Panathaniakos, Atheltico, and Rangers seem to be 'there for the taking' every time we come up against them.
  15. I see where you are coming from, perhaps you're right. Just really despondent after the match. Still feel we did enough to win it. Had it not been for a disgraceful performance for the referee I think we would have left with a place in the semi finals.
  16. We woz still robbed
  17. Absolutely gutted. More so than any result in years. Would have rather got pumped than endure that. Where did the extra six or seven minutes come from at the end? What was the free kick for? And what fucking else is new when you're playing Celtic?
  18. 100% agree with McNee, much as I hate to say it.
  19. Reading 'Are You Dave Gorman?' which is quite entertaining, as well as reading 'Lanark'.
  20. If he is talking about the youth policy at Celtic and their Boys Club, then I, for one, am shocked.
  21. Forest is too big for JC in my opinion. Would we take the other Calderwood here? Yes from me I think.
  22. If i were to do a comprehensive cull of the playing staff at AFC, Diamond would be kept, and an assortment of others (Lovell, Miller, Smith, Nicholson, Langfield, Seve) would be given a severe kick up the arse, lose yer form and yer out type talk. The rest, as far as I'm concerned, can get right to fuck.
  23. reckon the Glasgow branch will show it?
  24. I am entirely apathetic as to whether Calderwood stays or not.
