I think it would be great if he came to Pittodrie personally. Cant see him doing a Romanov as he will finance a figurehead to do all the donkeywork while he takes the glory! It was the nearest team to me. I know living in Shetland that there are other team closer on the map but when we steamed south on the boat it stopped in Aberdeen and if we took the plane then there was no direct flights to Glasgow or Edinburgh so we had to get off in Aberdeen Airport. Simples

I would keep him. Looked better come the end of the season and one of the few players showing a bit of grit about them. I mean he is far from the completed player but considering we only have 10g wages extra for new players we could end up with 7 or 8 lower league players who are worse. Better in midfield IMHO His height in the box at both ends could be a valuable assett too. Its only a matter of time before he starts scoring more.

Feel sorry for the big lad. Never what you would call a talented football player. But always commited to his teams cause and gave 100% A lot might rip him but i still think if he played for Aberdeen would have been a good player for the dons.

To be fair Amoruso wore the huns armband and was pure pish and a complete liability! God knows how he got to the Premiership in England. Mind you god knows how the Caldwells got down there either!! A bit confused by this (no that it takes much). He is going to get a new captain in, that isnt in the Aberdeen squad already! I think Diamond definately shows the determination and voice to stand up and get the team going. He might have been a wee bit quiet because Kerr was 'supposed' to be leading the team. Cant mind what game it was (one near the end of the season that was on tv) when he picked the ball up and drove forward on an angry, attacking run to show the midfield what the hell they should have been doing!! He has been at Pittodrie for years and understands the history and the fans. Who are we going to get in like that. Complete kick in the teeth for him and might even be the catalyst for him to say sod this im awa'. Especially if McGhee turns around and says tae Zander he is vice-captain!!
