  1. Admires the way Kerr is taking the flak in his stride . . . . yeah thats because he does'nt give a damn and its water off a ducks back!! Give the captaincy to Diamond. I mean, come on, how thick do you have to be!! The only back-up Kerr needs is when he comes out of Pittodrie if Aberdeen lose!!
  2. Dont blame him for the own goal at all, he didna ken the striker was offside. To be fair to the boy he produced two great last gasp tackles in the box. Unfortunately for him the rest of the game he was shocking, including getting in Zanders road when he had a clear shot on goal!!
  3. Alright boys and lasses!! i aint a big supporter of bringing players back to the club where they first played at but . . . First thing, 'when' he played for us he was a decent player and always played his heart out . . . Second thing, how many players of his standard could we pick up on our wage bracket on a free transfer that would do his job?? His only problem was fitness A problem for me too . . . but under our circumstances, i would take him back on a pay per play basis!! Back up for Pawlett wouldnt hurt Imagination has been SEVERELY lacking this season. BTW that doesnt mean i am on a bring back . . ? post
  4. Looking forward to this one actually!! Maybe cause its on the telly but more-so i believe we are due a good result and i think it could be this one. McGhee is taking a lot o criticism and i think some of it is due, but not all of it. keep the faith. Just remember Fergie at Man Utd. Ok completely different situations but things can and WILL change. Time is the problem. It can go one of two ways, the Southgate way at Boro or the Moyes way at Everton. Jimmy got us as far as we realisticly could have gone under him and financial restrains he was put under and perhaps overreached the goals (apart from the cup) that was set with the squad he had. Two nil the Dons tomorrow and roll on next season!!
  5. I think if players want to stay, they will sign a contract pretty early. If they dont want to sign they can feck off cause they obviously aint playing for the shirt and are quite happy to take the wages!! There cant be too many first team 'safe' players then. I take it only Aluko, Diamond and maybe Clangers and Pawlett. Oviously keepin Fyvie, Paton and Maguire (if he comes back!!!) but maybe not first choice with Mcghee. The out o contract boys like Mulgrew, i believe, will be heading off. So exciting time for new players coming in. Problem is how much time is there given for the team to gel? Big season for Mark and the boys next year. I fear we MUST have a good start or there may well be problems . . .
  6. LOL spelling was never my strong point
  7. McGhee should concentrate on Aberdeen as if St Mirren pull another one out the bag then he might end up supping a few pints we Mowbray before joining the dole cue. God forbid that would ever happen!!!! 'Mon the Dons!!!!
  8. Aye. we would be better off we diamond up front!!! roll on transfer window to see what mcghees actual plans are!
  9. Very apt jim!
  10. I think you are being a wee bit harsh on the boy. he just needs time. look at jamie mcquilken, took a wee while to settle in and gradually got . . . . . . i'll get me coat :-D
  11. Yeah. i could see me sitting in the Dick Donald Trump stand, part of the new peetodree arena man! wha's fir a big mac an fries dudes? )
  12. Would a possible buy out by the fans work out? Dont really like the idea to be honest, but worth throwing out there. If we say who stays and goes, With some of the boo-boys, it would be like a flamin merry-go round.
  13. I was on their site before he came and they seemed sad to be losing the guy. Obviously just bullsh1t getting banded about by some of their boys when he was going.
  14. I will keep buying me lottery ticket and hope for the best ;-)
  15. There cant be too many club legends that have become successful mangers . .
  16. That is just sad. The boy just aint settled into a game up here, Yet was good south. But you look at charlie adam the opposite. :-/
  17. Funny how milne says there are no investors on grampian tv. Seems there could be 1 or 2. Pay off the debt and leave with dignity!
  18. I dinna even think cheap tickets or deals would put bums on seats. christ, even freebies wouldnt work.
  19. Aye. a few beers and match o the day. sounds aaright. just lookin forward to the pelters i will get monday mornin!
  20. aye fairly good. its a shame cowan and spiers can see whats happenin at afc but some people inside the club cant.
  21. Killie could easily overtake us. maguire will probably get into double figures shortly. totally agree about the newcastle comment. i hope to god we dont get that bad. mind you, would going down be such a bad thing . . . i cant believe i am talking such rubbish!
  22. Bloody hell one nil. . . .
  23. Usual excuses fae milne! Says the same thing everytime. If he had bothered tae put his hand in his pocket, who knows! This is one of the worst old firms i have seen. Investment in the club and the new manager plus the feel good factor we could have been there or thereabouts. Not saying we would have won the league or anything but back in europe, more fans coming through the gates, more money for even better players etc. Its not f@cking rocket science. Milne gtf! :@
  24. Well i will be in Shetland listening in on the radio. If the game were to go ahead. . . Nil nil draw. Usual crap. Hyped up nonsense. Hope we get our games on tv.
