Not seen Chalali or Fallon im afraid to say. From what i hear Fallon seems to be good at creating chances for other players in and around the box? He seems a useful player to have in the squad. Could Chalali be effective on the wing?
-
Well surely Aluko is pushing this himself. so he can ram it.
-
Good luck to Chalali. hope he can make an impact. COYR!
-
Surely extending his trial for an extra 4 or 5 days. McCoist saying he only wants to bring in players that can go straight into the first team!

Defender in on trial (apparently) - Cian Hughton

Might help relations with Birmingham regarding future transfers. :-/ -

Hearts offering players to the Huns for slashed prices! The mind boggles! -
He shouldny have gotten booed off in my opinion. Maybe it because he has gone but he did put a lot in for Aberdeen in years gone by and deserves credit for that. Looked like a quality player at one stage. But especially the last season he was gash and didnt look like he gave two fucks. Funny how he seems to be playing well doon sooth. If the case was he wanted to leave he should have put in a formal transfer request and left ages ago rather than bugger us about! Especially saying all this crap. Is he trying to upset an already upset applecart?! Sometimes if you cant say something positive keep your bloody mooth shut.

EE: Aberdeen FC skipper Foster ‘can be Scots star’
McMaster replied to Kowalski's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
If he was still at the cream buns he would definately be in the squad anyway. Suprised Mulgrew aint in it. He isnt in it is he -
Sad days! Mind you I hear Livingston want to buy it as they reckon there is more chance of getting of getting a full house at Pittodrie than there is at Almondvale
-
It really is amazing what one performance like that can do for spirit. The old firm double header looked daunting last week. this week i am demanding 6 points lol! Great performance though. keep it up.
-
Exactly the problem. Time to get the fans back and enjoying their day oot at the fitba. No going to the game and not being entertained and feeling like their money should have been spent in the pub twa hours ago!!
-
He definately deserved more time in my opinion. I think Jimmy did the best with team and money he had. IF Milne had backed him up financially and perhaps taken a wee gamble to invest in the team at that time, well who knows . . . I dont remember the auld firm being exceptional that year and certainly both havent gotten any better since. Listen I aint saying without his sacking and good investment we would have been SPL champions but it certainly could have made us be up there challenging. How much money would have been needed, well i just dont know. As usual no commitment fae wiggy to try and make us something! Speculate to accumulate and all that. I know Hearts tried it with Romanovs money and nearly succeeded (well until Xmas) until they sacked the manager. But surely even Milne wouldnt start messing about with the team like that idiot did/does!! Ach you can only dream Probably talking shite again

I would take him back in a heartbeat. Probably on my own there!! But there did seem to be a team spirit and a happiness amongst the players. They seemed tae hae a smile on there faces when playing. Apart from the cup disasters (which were shocking, no doubt about it) I will always look back fondly on the Jimmy seasons. That European run was probably some of my happiest Aberdeen memories of my lifetime. Especially Copenhagen. Well considering we were expected to do nothing! I would still love to know his 'true' feeling on how he got the boot fae Aberdeen. It was very weird and contrived.

Just seen the highlights o the game! Is it me or does Gonzalez look a bit of a liability! He seems to go walkabout more than an Aboriginie would. No yet convinced. No seen him in the flesh yet so hard to be too critical.

The OBJECT OF THE GAME FOR FUCKS SAKE
McMaster replied to BobbyBiscuit's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
Even if we we're to get rid of broon. who would get that's any better? and who in their right mind would except the job? Maybe Phil Brown wasn't such a bad shout after all lol. I think we should, when we next appoint a manager, get someone in who knows nothing about the club and isn't pals we miller or Milne or anyone in the board and see what they make of it. Then some home truths might come oot. -
Sound like a good pairing. It will be interesting to see how we go.
-
I am getting pretty excited about this game, which is unusual after Tuesday. Just hoping for the right reaction fae the team!! Its a massive game for the whole club. Wonder how Brown will go about this game. Sit back and counter or go for it fae the start. I know what one i would prefer. Get stuck intae them!!!
-
Agree about the lack of investment from Milne. But in saying that, outwith the old firm and hearts, aren't we the next biggest spenders on wages? Don't officially know. Not that i am wanting to excuse Wiggy at all, but if that is the case we should surely be expecting more from the players/scouts? Its clear to see other teams playing at a higher level than us with less investment. Mind you Hibs seem to have the same problem as us and they can't explain it either. confused :-/

EE: Brown accepts share of blame for Aberdeen FC cup defeat
McMaster replied to Kowalski's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
Steve Paterson would have been too pissed or hungover to have noticed we had a midweek cup game never mind take the blame! :-( No that i think its him your talking aboot. -
This club is fucking dead and rotten.
McMaster replied to TENEMENTFUNSTER's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
This is just becoming groundhog day. I remember in the past, with cup upsets and poor league form, I would always back the dons up and fight for the clubs honour. Making up bullshit excuses along the way. Can't even be arsed nowadays. I thought it was just old age but it seems everyone, mostly, seems to feel the same way. I am honestly more excited about match of the day on a Saturday night than i am about me next Aberdeen game. I am embarrassed to say that. But I am more embarrassed by my own team. -
come on Aberdeen get a Fucking grip.
-
Agree about Chalali and Fallon but its a strong attacking team. Was worried he might have gone we the young guns. Mind you he punted half o wir youngsters on loan

The sad bit is when folk turn round and say your team is Shite. i always reply with, aye but im used tae it or what's new? I shouldn't have to say that Crap about a team I love and am proud to be a fan of. When they win a game i get genuinely excited like its a bloody one off that will never happen again. Something is definitely rotten at our club and it ain't just the pies! Who or what it is i don't know. I am beginning to think jimmy did a fantastic job of papering over the cracks. His sacking still bothers me. not that he went but the way they went about it. -
Good luck tae the lad. hopefully gets a good debut on Saturday if he plays. Really should introduce the lad tae Brian Irvine. :-)
