  1. Whilst Brown didn't exactly cover himself in glory, it would be highly unfair to say that he bottled it then. The defending from everyone was shocking, leaving O'Connor in plenty of space to pick his spot.
  2. Langfield shouldn't be at our fucking club, let alone being number 1. He's a mediocre keeper and should have been shown the door along with Diamond, McDonald, Kerr etc. How many chances does one player get at a club? Yes, he's a decent enough shot-stopper but so are most goal-keepers. His command of the box is terrible, his kicking is abysmal, his positioning is terrible and he is a bottler. I'm not saying that Brown is a world-beater but I am far more confident in Jason Brown between the sticks than Langfield. Brown does the basics correctly and isn't prone to bottling it on the big occasions. On Saturday, for the first time in a long time, we looked difficult to beat and hard to break down but what is the point if Langfield can't save a terrible shot. Too many times his mistakes have cost us. Get him dropped and barring injuries and suspension, leave him on warming the bench.
  3. Agree with all the sentiments on here about Langfield. A credible point ruined by a moment of complete idiocracy by our woeful goal-keeper. How many chances does this guy get?! Brown took over last season and generally did well. What was the reasons behind this change?! I've been saying for 18 months now that Langfield is a natural bottler and should have gotten shipped out of the club years ago yet he still continues to get a place in the team. If pulling out the odd good save is enough to get you a starting berth at Aberdeen, then I could go in goals. He can't kick, he bottles it, his command of the box is atrocious and his kicking is even worse.
  4. Watched the first half in The Short Mile. Aye, we look like we actually what the fuck we are daen! Haven't created much but for the first time in a long time, we look difficult to break down. Hopefully McGinn, Vernon, Hayes and Hughes can create some chances. So far, so good.
  5. I bet he has a tiny cock. Ironic, given that he is a massive cock.
  6. I live nearby the Albyn Garage. Anybody used it or know anybody thats used it? I see its under new management.

  8. Thought there was a thread on this from ages ago but I can't search it. Anyway, car's coming up for MOT in the next couple of weeks but it needs attention before it would pass it such as ABS light coming on and possible clutch/gearbox attention. I'm looking for a garage that won't rip me off and no problems! Anyone got any recommendations?
  9. I don't quite see how Reynolds wasn't good enough.
  10. How did you find this book Kow? I just downloaded a sample to it the other night but was looking for a second opinion before I buy it! I have recently read Trawlerman by Jimmy Buchan, On Fire With Fergie, Join Me by Danny Wallace and Dave Gorman vs The Rest Of The World by Dave Gorman.
  11. Was thinking that today that it would be great to see Sir Alex going to the funeral. Great to see. As has been said, can't think of anyone (possibly Dick Donald) that is held in such high regard by everyone connected with the club.
  12. Chairman Milne saying crock o shite. Source - afc.com.
  13. Aye pretty much how I feel. Cheated their ways to titles, cups and European football, breaking however many different rules along the way, the demotion should be a formality. Only in Scotland, this debacle would drag on further. It just shows how bloody corrupt the whole of Scottish football really is, if they are kept in. What the fucks the point of turning up if you can cheat your way to titles etc, break every law in the book, get liquadated but you can still stay in the league? They should be booted oot just like any other club before them e.g Gretna, Livingstone, Aidrieonions, Third Lanark. If the newco gets anything more than demoted to the Third Division, then I won't be returning to Scottish football for a very long time.
  14. Seems this rumour has been all started by Huns fans, most likely used for their own agenda that Scottish football cannot live without the Huns.
  15. Glad to say I was at his testimonial as a young un. RIP Teddy. A true legend in days where his kind is a rarity.
  16. What a complete debacle and one thats symbolic of Milne and his tenure whilst in charge of the club. Any man and his dug will tell you that if AFC vote yes, then a massive amount of fans will walk away from the club for a very long time. For me, thats true anyway. And if AFC vote no but Newco Huns are allowed back in anyway, then I just can't see myself going back to Scottish football. Completely disillusioned with the whole farce and what the fucks the point?
  17. Shouldn't be if all goes to plan with Victoria Park. The plan to groundshare with Caley is just a contingency plan.
  18. Cant wait for the away trip to Dingwall!
  19. Any spare seats on a supporters bus for the semi final?
  20. Aye he was at fault for the goal. However, he did well for the penalty and saved well from Clancy in the final minute. Good to see at full time, Brown apologising to Considine. Commanded his box superbly well and breeded confidence across his back line. I don't think it is a coincedence that the defence has become far tighter and meaner since he has gotten a run of games. Can't have any complaints about him and happy to see him between the sticks.
  21. Great result. Fallon took his goals well and I thought for 70 minutes, we were well on top and deserved to be 2 up. Lost our way in the last 20 with Fyvie being a big miss in the centre of the park. Disgraceful 'tackle' and one which could put Fyvie oot for a while, fingers crossed its not that serious though. Megginson should have finished the game as a contest after a good dummy by Arnie in the second half. Brown did well for the penalty and had a good save in the last minute but was badly at fault for their goal. Thankfully it didn't cost us though and otherwise, he had a very good game. Have to say, I am very impressed with Brown. Considine is really becoming a big player in our team and him and Reynolds seem to suit each other, both had excellent games yesterday. Arnason and Fyvie played really well as Fallon.
