That quiz wasted a fair bit of time for me and friend whilst working on our dissertations!

Hargreaves off to Man City. Didn't see that coming. If fit, could be a good signing. I'm sceptical whether he will get much of a look in though with Barry, Toure, De Jong etc already playing in there.

Get Paton punted. He's had far too many chances at the club.

Our options up front have severely been lacking right enough but I can't help thinking that this signing is a case of 'we've got nothing else on the transfer front, so we'll give this guy a shot'. But all the best to the boy and hopefully he can provide a badly needed spark of creativity.

I never said that you said he should be sacked. Of course, if criticism is warrented then it is perfectly acceptable to criticise a manager or a player. However, calling our manager a 'useless twat' is not criticism. Fair enough, the first two games have not been very good whatsoever but seasons are not based on two games. Just look at last season. From what I read from your post, you were suggesting we would find ourselves in a relegation battle. It's only two games in, anything can happen!

Was thinking to go and see The Answer in Aberdeen. Anybody seen them live? I saw them when they were supporting AC/DC and thought they were pretty good then, their stuff on youtube doesn't disappoint either.

Couple of pints the night I think and then got a 40th birthday party in the local on Saturday.

I won't be there but I can see this game being a very tight affair, as usually is the case with a game at St Mirren. As amp said, with the likes of Thompson, Teale and Hasselbaink, I think St Mirren could be a very different threat from the team from last season. It will be one goal in it but which way, I don't know!

Shame. Would love to see back at Pittodrie permanently.

Definitely would be someone to consider. Whilst Vernon and Mackie will huff and puff all day long, we desperately need someone who will create something out of nothing and will be that creative spark. Griffiths would fit that bill.

I wouldn't be suprised if Woods could play either wing though.

Got a phone call from AFC wondering why I had not renewed my season ticket. Not renewing because I won't be in Aberdeen for the first few games of the season so will make more sense for me to pay at the gate. Why I didn't say that the gross mismanagement of the club has led to a mediocre team playing mediocre football and that I quite frankly don't want to part with my hard earned cash to spunk away is beyong me.

Anason seemingly done enough to impress Brown. Finances could prove to be stumbling block.

I think Foster is the logical choice. Been at the club all his playing career barring one season and his experience at the Huns will have only benefitted him. It wasn't his choice to be loaned out nor did he ask to be loaned out to our rivals. Good choice IMO.
