First league game of the season for me, after my first game of the season with the narrow but pleasing win against Raith in the cup. I am worried about having the trio of Aluko, Pawlett and Hartely out. Hartely would have been in his element against the Huns at Pittodrie and I'm sure would have given as good as he got against the scumbags. Hopefully, get a good result anyhow!

Was meant to be getting straight on it after work, but the fella got an ear infection. So playing under 30's/over 30's football, followed by a good few in the local, on a blackening on Saturday which should be a big fill and thinking about going to see a band on Sunday, also in a pub!

Full back positions need to be filled first and foremost. Don't think we will be going back in for Hendrie with the arrival of Folly and Hartely.

Strange. Wouldn't be suprised if there were personal differences between the two. Don't know what like the reception will be for Foster if/when he comes back. I am assuming Foster and Velicka will not be able to play when the two sides meet? I am hoping that McGhee is still working on getting one or two other strikers out and getting in Basey. Just seems very strange to let go our only recognised full back and one that can also fill a variety of positions. Hopefully Velicka can reckindle some form and fitness or else this could turn out to be a disaster deal for McGhee.

Bad news about Fyvie. If he's caught his studs in the turf, I would be very suprised if he hasn't pulled/torn/strained ligaments, which means he could be out for months. Met this tie with a sense of fear and trepadition given our recent cup history with lower league teams but with the loss of their keeper, it seems to have been a relatively comfortable win.

Glad he's signed finally! Think Hartely will be a great addition to the team, he always impressed me as a player and I hated the cunt when he played for Hearts and Celtic!
