  1. How many red cards have Hearts racked up this season? 1-1. Skrtel puts Liverpool 1 up.
  2. Very hard to predict this game, and for that reason, I will not predict any outcome!
  3. As much as I love Pittodrie, at most home games, I am slightly embarrased by the lack of singing and atmosphere. For a home ground to be so quiet is scandalous. I would love to see Pittodrie refurbished or rebuilt because, as much as Ajja hates it, Saturdays can't get better with a few pints in the Pitt or the Broadhill and seeing AFC usually grind to a win/draw/loss.
  4. Agree. But if we finish lower, it will be with Jimmy's dross.
  5. I don't agree with that. On his day, Seve wouldn't have needed to adapt his game. He was a quality player when he was playing well and would have walked into any non OF side. That said, up until the split last season, he was largely a passenger. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11781_5692199,00.html
  6. Whilst I agree this season could be considered a transitional one, with the January and summer transfer windows being busy ones, it is wrong to say that you 'shouldn't be fussed about this season'. Whilst it is important for the youngsters to get another full season under their belts and for McGhee to ship out those deemed not good enough for AFC and ship in those who he feels will add to the team, it is equally important to get the highest possible finish for bragging rights and more importantly, revenue.
  7. SAME OLD ARGUMENTZZZZZZZZZZZZ LOLZ LMAO JMG
  8. I can't remember any 'sitter' as such.
  9. Big blow. The front four of Miller, Paton and with Pawlett and Aluko on the wings looked very good. If McGhee does what he has done all season, he will move Paton out wide and this might mean a change from 4-4-2. That said, he might keep Paton up front and having Young or Mackie, or move Pawlett to the left with Ross at RB and Foster RW. Big blow, whatever way you look at it.
  10. Nicked from Mad. Each and everyone of the Old Firm = Scum.
  11. Couldn't hear any singing on Sky Sports. Wouldn't want to anger the OF though.
  12. Can't believe I'm sitting in a library, when I could be home and watching this game! 3-3!
  13. Falkirk gone 2-1 against Ra Sellick. Pressure will really be on Mowbary unless they get 3 points. Pretty awful performance though.
  14. Cunt bags Man City looking like they're going to fuck me up. Had Man City, Arsenal, Barcelona and Sevilla, all at -1. £5 would have returned £160
  15. McGhee saying because he had run out of steam.
  16. First half was probably one of the best, if not the best performance, of the season so far. Had a few chances before our goal, and Aluko did brilliantly to score a very good goal. Thought that we would go on to impose ourselves and get another couple. We went at them from the first minute and really looked up for it. With Pawlett and Aluko on either side, and 2/3 men in the box, we looked very dangerous. Then after 35 mins or so, the game started to slow down a bit and it became very flat. Aluko going off was a huge miss in the second half and it really showed the difference between an out and out winger and a striker stuck out there. Second half performance was flat, dull, lacking any sort of killer instinct and St Johnstone deserved their goal. Looked like Langfield had the ball in his hands before being wiped out by Deuchar but would have to see again? Crowd was getting on the players backs as St Johnstone were on top. The penalty came at the right time, not sure what happened but Radio Scotland implying that the ref maybe made up for the Saints goal? Overall, very good first half, shite second half! Got the 3 points but plenty of work to be done. Thought Ifil and Considine had a good game in the centre of defence and Kerr finally showing some glimpses of actually being a footballer! Thought he did little wrong apart from the odd misplaced pass here or there, McDonald fairly anonymous. I thought Miller put in a lot of effort without being rewarded for it until his penalty. Aluko and Pawlett outstanding! Also, think Paton was unlucky to be shunted out wide as it ended his involvement with his natural position but what a strike in the second half!
  17. Thought McDonald was pretty anonymous, was caught dallying on the balls a few times. Kerr, much improved display and thought he started to show glimpses of his true ability!
  18. I know it's difficult to imagine, but I would hope we see at least something that resembles good football!
  19. I think it wont be until next summer, when McGhee tries to move on the dead wood in the squad and brings in a couple of 'his' players and the youngsters have settled in and got a full season under their belts. This season is very much a transitional one, yet still one which the expectations are as high as they were in the previous seasons. No doubt there will be much grumblings and muttering over the course of the season, but I will be reserving judgement on McGhee for now. Of course, this 'transitional season' can easily be used an excuse for short-comings which the previous management team were lambasted for. I am confident of an Aberdeen win tomorrow, and hope it's done in some style!
