So how long are we looking for the building of this staduim? 5-10 years? Leaving Pittodrie will be a sad day.
-
Yes, I would take him back in an instant, but I wouldn't break up the Kerr and McDonald partnership in the middle of the park. With doubts over Severin, Smith and Mair signing on, re-enforcements are paramount. I think centre back, right back and other wide players is of more importance than the middle of the park. I think that the team needs a couple of players with the ability along with experience. What about Sammy Stewart? Is he not ready for involvement with the first team? What kind of player is he? A ball winner like Kerr or an attacking midfielder a la McDonald?

EE: Aberdeen FC freeze season ticket prices
RDU_64 replied to Kowalski's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
Despite the standing in the cold wind, listening to the unrest of fellow supporters and watching the 'unentertaining' football, I will be renewing my season ticket. -
I'm saying yes. I think the team will scrape 4th.

Anyone got any good/interesting/value for money things to do whilst in Paris? Apart from the usual touristy stuff i.e Eiffel Tower, Notre Dam etc.

Watched Russell Howard's live DVD the other night. Thought it was funny as fuck and I had only heard 1 or 2 of his gags.
-
He scored against West Brom on Saturday.
-
Of course, absolutely no doubt about his ability, but he is just so injury prone, it's just not worth offering him a new contract. Time to wish good luck and move on.

Update - Cobra tasting lovely.
-
I've got a bottle of Cobra chilling in the fridge as I type!

Heading off to Paris on the 16th o May, for a couple of days with the girlfriend. Then I will be working for the summer and seeing AC/DC in June.

Oh no, an agument that looks at the bigger picture! GET MARK MCGHEE IN! SAVIOUR.
-
Are you ever going to answer my question or are you avoiding it because you have no evidence?
-
Aluko for me. First half, rather quiet as was the whole team. Still beat Tokely a few times and always looking to pick out people in the box. Second half, him and Mulgrew were linking together quiet well and Aberdeen were creating mostly through the left as Aluko had Tokely in his back pocket. Pass marks for Langfield, Foster, McDonald and Maguire.

I am still awaiting an answer?

I find this all rather laughable. I feel things at Pittodrie has gone rather stale or stagnate if you will. This protest was to get Calderwood out. This JMG mob has never warmed to Calderwood for being a 'fat tango hun' and I personally feel that these individuals hatred of Calderwood, will get in the way of supporting 'their' team. Sure, you can use his horrendous cup record as a reason to hound him out of Pittodrie, whilst also forgetting the positive points in his tenure. Now a possible 4th and a shot at Europe is not good enough. They want Aberdeen to competing with the OF on a regular basis or at least consolidating 3rd place every season. Why does Aberdeen have the Gods given right to be finishing 3rd every season? We are on a level playing field with the likes of Hearts, Dundee United and Hibs. Hence the league standings. Since the protest turned out to be a shambles, this mob have still not realised that this 'JIG' mob does not exist. Furthermore, to cover their own backs, they spout pish about how the rest of the support view the top six as an achievement. Well, I'm sick to the back teeth of 'JMG - Jimmy Must Go' super fans who feel that they care about the club more than anybody else. They have alienated themselves. Now for MiniJC anyway, 3rd place was not even good enough! Who the fuck cares whether Craig Brewster was 40 year old or 18 years old and playing? In my opinion, he was actually quite a good player and a good short-term measure. To me, they want Aberdeen to finish 3rd, but not under Calderwood. They are happy for Aberdeen to lose, as it is another reason to give Calderwood, the team, Willie Miller, Stewart Milne, Angus the Bull, the club shop and whoever else, pelters. They won't rest until Calderwood has been hounded out and they get in McGhee. Well I still await answers as to how Aberdeen could afford the finances, to pay of Calderwood, JN AND Sandy Clark and then pay compensation for McGhee and some of his backroom team. Or not even McGhee, any other suitable manager, deemed 'good enough' or 'capable of taking us onto the next level'. I personally agree that Calderwood seems to have struggled to push on but I try and like to think, that I look at the bigger picture and look at finances and who indeed is a suitable alternative. I cannot see one suitable candidate as I don't think McGhee is the answer. There is no back-up plan if McGhee didn't want the job. Why would we get rid of the manager and send the club in turmoil right at the business end of the season? Just wait until the end of the season, but this vocal MINORITY of our support has spoken and wants Calderwood out, whatever the consquences. No doubt, I will be shouted down by MiniJC for accepting mediocrity, being a 'JIG-goer', 'have fun at your top 6 party', just on the bandwagon of the 'Weegie Mafia', 'you never go to games', 'part-time fan', 'I obviously care more about the club than you' or any other same old tired excuse they wheel out to anyone who has the audacity to look at the bigger perspective.
-
I find it rather disturbing & worrying that your hatred of Calderwood is actually starting to hamper your backing of AFC. Would you much rather we finished in the bottom 6 and then you can get a good & proper protest organised? Then we can all really hound out Calderwood and get Mark McGhee or Darren Ferguson in.
-
When did he say that?
-
No, Brian. The dominos car that pulled up outside the Main Stand was for the Caley Bus. Hence why the driver of said bus picked it up and promptly put it in the back of the bus. This was around the time that they chanted for 20 seconds and shut up again.
-
What a total utter fucking cretin. Absolute arse. He must have some selective vision or he couldn't take his ANTI-JC glasses off for one minute to see that the ICTFC bus driver picked them up and put them on the ICT bus.
-
I don't know! I was quoting from KKK Chat. I was in no way, involved with this so called 'protest'. They obviously do expect him to come out to a answer absolute drivel and abuse that, no doubt, would have come out.
-
Or you get told or or even
-
As did I! Caley played for a point. First half was terrible with very little action going on. First 20 minutes in the second half was far better and could have scored 3. Went dull again before McDonald popped up. Aluko played well. Cracker of a ball from Mulgrew and a good header from McDonald. Didn't think Miller did much but Bebo played alright. McDonald played average I thought, with Smith having an absolute mare for most of the afternoon. Mair and Severin was an unconvincing back two and Langfield, even though not having to do much, did everything right.
