3 episodes into Adolescence. It's superb so far. The single-shot technique is brilliant, gripping, makes you part of the events. And some of the acting and abrupt are exceptional.

I dunno how I feel about gunning for third. Bragging rights and a bit more cash are obvious pros. But we don't have the squad to compete in Europe AND at home yet. One summer window will not be enough to convince me either. The January window showed me JT can fix problems. But I think he needs another season in the doldrums of domestic football to build a squad capable of actually doing anything exciting in Europe. On this game, Well look like they'll bring a sizeable support up to Pittodrie which could make for a cracking atmosphere with our sold out home areas. But I reckon we will just edge it (glass half-full as always) 2-1 Dons, Jensen & Knoester

Still not confident we would win that group. Stonehaven Juniors can be a handful when they aren't nursing hangovers

NZ vs New Caledonia on just now. If NZ win, they go to the World Cup. Kinda makes me jealous that NZ's route to the World Cup includes challenging teams who would struggle in the Highland League.

The Twister on Netflix. Doco on the massive km-wide tornado that ripped theu Joplin, Missouri in 2011. Really really good! It's only about 90 minutes long but had me gripped for the middle 50 minutes. Mother Nature is an absolute bitch when she wants to be

Panainis around the world will be flying at half-mast

Lennon confirmed as Dunfermline boss til end of the season. If history repeats, he will immediately sign Bobo Balde https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/articles/c93n4nqz5n5o

I've been to Fiji. I don't remember seeing a football pitch, nevermind a team

Restless Natives had a couple of folk in the 83 Aberdeen top chasing the bandits' motorbike in Central Edinburgh. Any other shows have Dons fans appearing on them?

From FB comments it sounds as if there was considerably more at Pittodrie than would normally be at Balmoral. Kinda justifies the ladies playing at Pittodrie on a regular basis - it is the home of AFC after all, which they are most certainly a significant part of

SC Semi: Hearts vs Dons - 19/04/25 - 12:30PM

Until it comes to allocation of ticket quotas for a final, then they'll take into account how many fans didn't manage the 3 hour drive / 4 hour train journey to get to the 12.30pm semi-final kickoff. Aberdeen needs someone like Keith Wyness to stand up to the cretins that run the SFA -
Oh dear Fenerbahce knocked out by a 12 year old bunch of tax-dodgers

I see in a bid to cash in on what is likely to be the day Smelltic secures the title, St Johnstone have granted the away fans three the four stands. I'm very glad we don't pander to those unwashed minks ... McDiarmid Park season ticket holders must be fkn raging

Thr media loved Robertson, same goes for Colin Cameron. Robertson was a whinging knobend who flapped at the ref until he got his way. And Cameron, whilst relatively handy, was waaaay overrated and was quite righly put in his place by the gar superior Paul Bernard on both players' comeback games at Tinkcastle -
That photo tho. Ebbe being one of my all time favourite managers (solely for his character) standing next to D'Jaffo who was supposed to be the new Dadi ... TBF it was universally understood that the old Dadi was also gash

Why not? If football is truly about football, and religion isn't a part of the equation, then it shouldn't matter what day each team plays. Regardless, I'm sure the catholic churches of Glasgow would love to welcome 60,000 patrons through their doors, but alas I'm pretty sure many Celtic fans have never stepped foot in a church

Sokler has ability. He's no Miovski, but he has a keen eye before goal, scoring the odd pearler. Ambrose ... has he got something on Cormack? Is that why he gets games ahead of Boyd? He had a great header on target vs QP ... but I think that's more him playing vs his level, rather than him being good enough.
-
Being honest, I'd much rather get the Huns Without Busfares in the semi than Celtic. I'd rather we had ANYONE but Celtic. Any Premiership team is perfectly capable of beating each other, which is what you want in a cup game. But it takes the Celtic team to have an increasingly-rare collective day off for any team to stand a chance, such is the gulf in resources

Polvara is the one of those id like to see on the field. He's solid, decent, has developed heeeeeaps since he arrived. Sokler is okay, has spectacular goals under his belt, but they're all to scarce - he's basically what you get when you order a Miovski from Wish

You totally missed Dorrington being anywhere near the matchday squad

Dunno if it's the same in all westernised countries. But there's a section of the currently emerging generation of adults in Australasia who seem to ignore social class positioning, there is a growing tendency to ignore discrimination based on your current social class. Possibly the only exemption in this is those brought up with a silver spoon in their mouth, cos they still stuck to their own. Whether this also exists in USA beneath the political comedy gala that the rest of the world gets to see pretty much everyday on TV or not ... I'd love to know.

Queens Park have nothing to lose in this game. I reckon they'll score the opener in the first 20 minutes, then we will take control and go on to win 5-1 Press will still headline with "Dons progress despite scare" Nisbet x2, Gueye, Jensen, Shinnie

So what's the deal with Lewis Carroll? What are the swathes of rich English suitors seeing that we aren't?

Winning...for now. The Northeast Optimism Records thread.

Hibs are certainly the most likely for 3rd if they continue their current form. Arabs whilst not playing badly have found results hard to come by. Same goes for us, and our defence is still suspect at crucial moments. Celtic are the only ones in the league that are almost guaranteed their wins, everyone else is very beatable. So between now and end of season, only Hearts are still to play celtic twice. It really is anyone's game for 3rd, and I wouldn't fancy anyone's chances in Europe next year, such is the shite on show this season
