  1. This does have banana skin written all over it. But the Huns Without Busfares are gonna be absolutely knackered, and we have been playing brilliantly (albeit in patches). I'd sincerely love it if we absolutely rip this shower of shite into pieces Out Bed Bed Work 4-0, Palaversa, Nisbet, Shinnie, Clarkson. Hearts to get a red card too
  2. Less Bologna, more Baloney
  3. Some good results for the Highland League teams in there
  4. They'll struggle in these next 2 matches. In better news, Lewis Ferguson is appanrelybmaong good progress and is begun training with the Bologna squad, albeit light training. He'll be needed by Steve Clark, as guys like Kenny McLean are arguably past it now
  5. Black Stone Island jackets and bad hairdos. I see the ultras uniforms haven't changed since the ASC days
  6. Aye but scottish commentators never have been the best at pronunciation. Shawny O'Luko, Kiss Boys, Paw Gash Goyn, He Sham Zer Awally
  7. I dislike Hibs a little bit less than Hearts. But I don't like seeing anyone lose to The Huns. Except Hearts, I will never get tired of seeing them lose, regardless of the opposition
  8. Girona boss Michel saying Bojan will get his chance. He's been responding well in staining, and Michel is gonna start rotating his squad to cope with fixture congestion
  9. Dick. I'm not sure if I detest him the same as or more than Alex Miller.
  10. Former Dundee striker Fabian Caballero, just 46 years old
  11. Dame Maggie Smith, aged 89. A wonderful actress and human
  12. Girona struggling this season, and 'Ar Kid Miovski not getting much of a lookin either 0-0 against Rayo Vallecano
  13. Brown had signed an extension at Ayr. Looks like St J are still on the hunt then, and Leven sounds more plausible
  14. Aye, I'd love to see more of our strips revert to the old badge. Yer right, one of the Saltire strips had it too, and from what I remember our centenary strip also had it. The one from the season that Scott Booth returned and played for us for £7.40 a week wages
  15. 3-2 Dons - Keskinen, Gueye, Ruby
  16. The old badge list doesn't look right with the modern Adidas logo. Needs to be the trefoil. But that granite top is pretty nice. Change to a trefoil, and offer a version without the sponsor logo, and this would be absolutely spot-on ... would look swell on this man of advancing years
  17. Hopefully to get drunk on the exceptional Wairarapa / Martinborough wines, cos there is fuckall else there
  18. Hmmm, might’ve been. I check NewsNow's Aberdeen page most days, so may very well have been a link to Football Insider
  19. Just found this thread! So many names from aaaages ago TF with a joint account maybe? I used to go to away games with BB, mainly during the Skovdahl years. Was part of the Stirling Reds. Decent chap who rated every player against his all-time fav Brian Grant
  20. Sssshhhhh. You're in danger of me agreeing with you
  21. I watched the masters yeeeeears ago. McLeish, Bobby Connor, Soapy Joe Miller, pretty sure Duncan Shearer were all playing for us
  22. Brown is one of the favourites for the St J job. Don't think he would ever go to Hearts anyway. What about McGhee? There's no team I would love more to see balancing on rafts on a lake, all new signings being a minimum 6'3" in stature but no need for any level of skill, and seeing the end product sink marvellously into the Championship
  23. I read McInnes is in-line to take over at Ibrox once Clements finally gets booted
  24. I think Browns biggest problem was he was such an iconic player for the Victims, many Dons fans couldn't see past that. The continual tit-for-tat with Shay Logan was too of mind for me when he signed. But he proved in patches that he was still a very high quality player, and seemed to hold quite a bit more respect for aberdeen than I ever thought he would. Goodwin refusing to have Brown on his coaching squad was ultimately what ended his aberdeen career
