  1. So my mate from Wycombe calls him "Two Jags" as a nod to his love of Jaguar cars. I always thought he was "Two Jabs" after the incident with the protestor and the egg. Which one is right?
  2. Nows as good a time as any to start the Jimmy Must Go campaign
  3. He's a decent player. Was probably their best when we best them a few weeks ago
  4. I'm just surprised it's on Zoom. A platform that sprung put of nowhere when the world locked down in 2020 ... and then disappeared quicker than you could say "vaccination"
  5. I want the "well tonight thank God it's them instead of yoooooou" bit to go to Max Cavalera of Sepultura fame.
  6. Did Gavin Rae play for us? Pretty sure he's an Aberdonian, but I didn't think he ever played for us. Maybe as a youth? Updated squads for this year: Aberdeen Players: Russell Anderson, Eoin Jess, Joe Lewis, Kevin McNaughton, Derek Young, Jonny Hayes, Gavin Rae & Lee Miller Rangers Players: Barry Ferguson, Kris Boyd, Lee McCulloch, Jermain Defoe, Roy Carroll, Pedro Mendes, Graham Dorrans & Nacho Novo Celtic Players: Stiliyan Petrov, Scott Brown, Charlie Mulgrew, Michael McGovern, Darren O'Dea, Joe Ledley, Simon Donnelly & Gary Hooper Dundee Utd Players: Willo Flood, Craig Conway, Garry Kenneth, John Rankin, Paul Gallacher, Mark Wilson, Danny Swanson & Jon Daly
  7. I miss away days. Well, I miss all dandies games these days, but I used to love a good away game. 2001/2 season I only missed 2 away games ... and only made it along to 2 home games - xmas win vs the Victims in the sna, and Danish Day vs Livi. pittodrie games were pretty much the furthest I had to travel back then
  8. Then they could get 3 stars on their badge, to represent the amount of times they've been relegated
  9. Gah fkn geographic restrictions pish. Can't play it cos of my region. But NOBODY covers the Scottish Premiership in NZ, so where's the reason for restriction? Gets my fkn goat up
  10. Goodwin has signed an extension to 2026 with the Arabs. The Pittodrie hotseat was clearly just too big a challenge for him, but he seems to be doing a decent enough job at Tannadice - although his tactics against us were ultra fucking boring and negative
  11. Humblest apologies for the source (Record) but it does have a quote from the man himself. On his contract situ MacKenzie has given a chute of hope: “We’ve had a lot of massive games and the Scotland call-up as well. It has all been going on. It is something I will need to think about shortly. I don’t have any update at the minute.” “I absolutely love it here. It is where I have been since I was a boy. It is where my family are and where I have grown up. I do love the club. I have really enjoyed it here and I am still enjoying it.”
  12. some games we have scraped to a 1 goal win. Other games we have absolutely dominated ... to a 1 goal win. It's about time we absolutely whipped someone's ass. This will be a real acid test for Jimmy. Doc will know we are starting from the hammering we got at Hampden, but will his team be able to contain us? I am going for 4‐0 Dons - Topi, Rubi, Devlin and Duk to score
  13. This is what I am hearing from my US based pals. Rest of the World cannot believe the Americans have voted him in again. But in the US, they seem sick of the same old political merry-go-round, voting in someone who doesn't listen to the working class. This is going to be very interesting to watch. The world will be significantly impacted by this election and Trumps actions during his time at The White House. The country is totally tucked, and is probably gonna be even more broken when he's done.
  14. He makes Dadi and D'jaffo look talented. His very important goal was a case of right-place right-time. But I 100% agree he is being made to look good by those around him
  15. And believe me, there's shit NZ squads and then there's the current crop who, Chris Wood aside, would get pumped by our part time women's team (no disrespect to our ladies)
  16. Why are our ladies part-timers? Would've thought the collective state of AFC finances could afford to pay them pro contracts
  17. Brand new team to the A League, Auckland FC are proving to be a bit of an enigma. Played 3, Won 3 in their inaugural season. They are my "local" team and the second NZ based team to feature in the A League. Watched them again today as they took on the Wellington Phoenix in their first ever derby match. The quality is definitely lacking, kind of reminds me of the quality of the Scottish Premier maybe around 25 to 30 years ago. Certainly interesting though, following a brand new team, with brand new fans, brand new songs, brand new rivalries, etc
  18. Got to agree with that. I think this is where the run ends. Celtic won't ease up again like they did at the Tattiedome, Rodgers will make sure of that! But you can never say never with Thelins game management.
  19. On JT to Ibrox, you also have to consider that Cormack seems to be letting Thelin run the footballing side of things, and he knows he's got a budget in January after not spending the Miovski megabucks. Ibrox is £17M in the hole, we on the other hand are solvent. JT would surely take all this into consideration. On what we need in Jan, the defence needs bolstering. Devlin and McKenzie have been brilliant, but the others are still a work in progress. We have also not got a proven goalscorer yet. Yes, Gueye will come back from injury. But he's not a tricky, skilful player who can hold onto that lone striker role efficiently. I quite fancy Jimmy to go and grab someone like Isaac Thelin from Malmo, who was top scorer in the Swedish Allsvenskan last year. The amount of chances we had in the first half vs Rangers, can you imagine how many of those a striker like Miovski would've buried? We could've been 3 or 4 up at half time with a proven striker Midfield doesn't need touched
  20. Or a swap for Sokler. Girona still won't know the difference
  21. https://www.nottheoldfirm.com/news/andrew-mckinlay-insists-hearts-not-giving-up-on-catching-aberdeen-as-he-talks-ambitions/ You couldn't make it up. They still think they can make 3rd this season. How about aiming for not-last ... cos that's where you are right now, you delusional bunch of Huns Without Busfares
  22. No but he scored for N Macedonia recently. i think that was his first goal anywhere since he left us. Really hope he comes good - a real gent OADAAD
  23. I dunno what's better about this video. Watching Kiss Boys going absolutely mental at the Huns, Sutton trying his best not to piss himself with laughter, Or Joe Joe Super Joe just sitting there basking in the glory of yet another victory for the reds:
  24. The Beeb's head-to-head analysis passed a comment that, since the SPFL rebrand in 2013, Tavernier has scored 13 goals against us (more than any other player against another club in that time). 11 of those have been from the spot
