Horrible news. Nice bloke and one of the real early members of DT 22 years ago RIP min

Peterhead vs Montrose could be interesting.

Being favourites going into any game makes me nervous. Going in as favourites against the Huns ... I seriously don't remember this happening before. Certainly not in the last 35 years. This scares me, and I hipe the squad is taking heed of Jimmy's call for humbleness The Huns seem to be grinding out results, but I dunno if that's just the nature of having significantly more skilled and higher value players coming up against much much weaker opposition. I don't think Jimmy will be able to foil them as easily as he foiled Goodwin. But he has a real knack of recognising when he has the wrong player on field, and isn't afraid to change tactics and personnel as soon as he sees it. For this reason, I think tactically we will overcome The Huns. It won't be easy. But I do think we will take the 3 points 2-1 Rubi and Clarkson. I also fancy Barron to be red carded

We are due a defeat. So when it comes, we should pre-empt our inevitable downfall by binning Thelin -

Was wondering why red n blue for us -
Looks like they only managed to raise £78k of their £200k target. Those funds are confirmed as going towards running the club whilst in administration, and won't go towards professional fees. Difficult times indeed, particularly as Duncan Ferguson had apparently been working for free for a while Club has been docked 15pts and are now bottom of League One on -3 pts

Ally "im really not bothered by Celtic. Honestly" McCoist calling for the handball rule to be reviewed as he saw it as completely unintentional. Whilst I would've loved Duk's goal to stand, changing the rules to allow for interpretation would create a generation of players who would "game it". On another note, anyone else notice the blatant cheating from the Tims? Specifically Johnson backing into Mitov twice, and Idah stepping into the newly created gap to tap the ball in? Ref quite rightly pulled them up for the first as Johnson bundled Mitov into the net. But Mitov was lucky not to give away a foul the second time simply by clearing the space immediately infront of him

MacDonald hasn't been the same since he was paired with Pollock. Unsure what is required for us to see him back to his best. Great to see the two Dundee teams putting up good fights. I much prefer them to the Jambos. Still, I think we will be too good for the Arabs, and Goodwin still isn't quite sure what to do when his teams are behind. 4-2 to the Reds McGrath, Nesbit, Duk, MacKenzie

Yes! McGinn in his prime was untouchable.

I reckon you can choose to pick players either on their form with us or their top form, up to you. Hector was a bit of magic in his time with us, so I'd go with that.

We were the nail in Beale's coffin. Wouldn't it be brilliant if we were also the nail in Clements' coffin? Although being honest I really don't think they can afford to sack him!

Was chatting with pals the other day on "what a team of your clubs former players would look like". The rules are all players need to still be playing. Ours looks alright so far. Imagine if we fielded a team for a season that contained Lewis Ferguson, Bojan Miovski, Ryan Christie, James Maddison, Scott McKenna, Kenny McLean, Lawrence Shankland, Ross McRorie, maybe even Wes Burns who seems to be doing alright at Ipswich these days. Distinctly lacking goalkeepers and only one defender though
-
Even the Lancashire Post can't confirm whether Preston are actually keen, as they've also quoted The Scottish Sun. Funny how all these unsettling rumours always start circling just as we are about to play either side of the Old Firm, and they rarely have actual quotes
-
The defence needs a tweak. Something just ain't right. Midfield is ace and seem to be scoring most of our goals. Upfront we have a plethora of slightly above average players here. Bavidge and Boyd will hopefully come good in a season or two if they continue their development trajectory.

Well, it's in the song ... "we are the famous Ah Bah Deen"

Yeah i think you're right. McKenna moved to Nottingham Forest in the 2020 summer window, but Consis scotland debut was October 2020. So maybe it was Christie, McLean, Shinnie?

Agree with the point we've ridden our luck lately. The winning run we've seen is us getting the rub of the green. Teams don't get anybrub of the green against the unwashed, especially at the Tattiedome. We might squeeze 2-2, simply thru the fact our goals are coming from all over the team. But in reality, it's gonna be more like 3-1 to the bad guys Ruby with our goal, a header from a corner.

I think McKenna, Consi and Ferguson all played together around 2020

BBC: "Nisbet joins Aberdeen teammates Nicky Devlin and Jack MacKenzie in the squad, while Shankland's withdrawal - after he missed training on Tuesday - adds to an ever-growing injury list." Shankland emotionally bruised after the mental battering the Red Army gave him on Sunday #pies

Hmmmm tough one. Booth was more quality and made a good career for himself at Dortmund and Twente, but spent so much time at aberdeen on the treatment table. Shearer was an ever dependable supersub, and had some peg. But I started properly following the Dons during the Jess/Booth era, so I will go for Booth Next up from the injury table, Scott Booth or Paul Bernard ?
-
Shankland was absolutely gash. The physics require to balloon that shot over the bar and completely miss the target ... he's clearly been reading "Faking Football" by Peter Ambrose
-
I bet he's actually a Spurs fan but can't really say why and can't name a single player
-
He's like the Lewis Ferguson you get when you shop on Wish
-
Enough current and ex-Dons at Cove to infiltrate the lunchtime kitchen to serve them 8 day old chicken sandwiches. Mitch Megginson, Findlay Marshall, Adam Emslie, Fraser Fyvie, Paul Hartley, Derek Soutar ... let's go
-
So many Hun fans on social media think we actually miss him. Why would we miss a kid who refused to sign and only started playing when he knew he was in the shop window? Judas prick
