  1. Just found this thread! So many names from aaaages ago TF with a joint account maybe? I used to go to away games with BB, mainly during the Skovdahl years. Was part of the Stirling Reds. Decent chap who rated every player against his all-time fav Brian Grant
  2. Sssshhhhh. You're in danger of me agreeing with you
  3. I watched the masters yeeeeears ago. McLeish, Bobby Connor, Soapy Joe Miller, pretty sure Duncan Shearer were all playing for us
  4. Brown is one of the favourites for the St J job. Don't think he would ever go to Hearts anyway. What about McGhee? There's no team I would love more to see balancing on rafts on a lake, all new signings being a minimum 6'3" in stature but no need for any level of skill, and seeing the end product sink marvellously into the Championship
  5. I read McInnes is in-line to take over at Ibrox once Clements finally gets booted
  6. I think Browns biggest problem was he was such an iconic player for the Victims, many Dons fans couldn't see past that. The continual tit-for-tat with Shay Logan was too of mind for me when he signed. But he proved in patches that he was still a very high quality player, and seemed to hold quite a bit more respect for aberdeen than I ever thought he would. Goodwin refusing to have Brown on his coaching squad was ultimately what ended his aberdeen career
  7. Good riddance. Craig Levein deploys the most negative defensive tactics I've seen since Alex "Cunt" Miller. Did it with Scotland, Hearts and Utd.
  8. Hmmmm. Bisconti was a real hard-man, who won the red army over with the accuracy in his aggressive tackling. But he was no leader, and often went AWOL in the big games against the Old Firm. Remember also he was playing alongside Darren Young - of course he's gonna look good next to that pish
  9. I was looking for these highlights around midnight UK time (ie when they usually appear online). Instead I got these. Leighton, Anderson, Glass, Bernard, Jess, Windass. How did Aitken fair so poorly with this squad?!
  10. Been waiting 8 years for Nero's third album. Two of the band members have been off living a normal life and raising a child. But this, their 3rd album, is a brilliant nod to their first two, whilst bringing theirs under bang up to date at the same time
  11. He's the Cape Verde version of Leigh Griffiths. Undoubted talent, but his attitude makes him a liability that not many clubs can be bothered with. On that note, I see Griffiths is currently playing for Mandurah City, third tier team playing in Western Australia. An article suggests he's playing for free. I also read that Craig Brown took a look at Griffiths when he was Aberdeen manager, but opted to pass due to his off-field problems. Take note, Duk
  12. Duk is back. He's apologised to the club. Gonna take some effort from him before the fans forgive him though. Successive hattricks against Motherwell and Hearts should do. https://www.facebook.com/share/p/U31oP2DEt1g3YKYm/?mibextid=xfxF2i
  13. What's up with Lewis Ferguson? Is he injured at the moment?
  14. Aaron Jones has a decent vlog channel going. He's started getting sponsorship this season for his work. I'm not too keen on the ginger kid Kian's vlogs, but Aaron's one is pretty good quality. He tends not to travel to away games, so whe the Dons are not at home he goes to Cove games
  15. A Hibee that lives more than 5 miles from Easter Rd?! Now there's a first!
  16. I for one am glad Vinnie has (a) been given a chance to prove himself and (b) seems to have somewhat taken that chance. I am still perplexed as to what the club is doing with Duk. The guy is a petulant wee brat who has lost the support of the Red Army. Very strange that absolutely nothing happened with him whilst the window was open - not even a release from his contract
  17. So they are both either stuck with their respective dross, or have to pay hefty payouts. Either way, I am laughing!!!!! No sympathy for either of these cnuts
  18. All respect for Panda. And all respect for Deek. But I cannot stand Killie. Have never liked them and never will, despite flatting with a diehard Killie fan for 4 years when I was a student
  19. Agreed. We have too many strikers now, and only half of them are gonna get any first team action TBH. Farm Bavidge out, I read ICT were keen on a loan. That'd be a really good option for all parties.
  20. FT, Killie out. Bets are on for McInnes to blame his teams tough schedule, ignoring the fact he didn't build a squad to compete on euro and domestic fronts
  21. He was an absolute cheat for Hibs against us numerous times. I think it was Robson who was brave enough to question the intent of some of Porteous' decisions on the field, decisions deliberately intended to trick refs. And sure enough last time he faced us he pulled a penalty out of nothing
  22. I don't care how lacking in talent we are, I hope porteous never plays in a Scotland shirt ever again
  23. Ringo, not even the greatest drummer in The Beatles. But then, same could be said about Lars Ulrich, I watched a drum-off between him and James Hetfield ... Lars lost
  24. Bonham easily my fav deummer of all time. Bill Ward from Sabbath was excellent too, but nobody compared to Bonham
  25. I always thought Brondby's stadium was the perfect one to copy. A squareish almost-all-seater stadium, but an area behind both goals for traditional terracing
